Chapter 181: Big Boss Fu’s Heart Is Black

The door opened.

Shi Qian had just pounced onto the bed and her heart was still beating rapidly when she suddenly made up her mind and dived into Fu Sinian’s arms!

Fu Sinian was stunned.

As soon as the old master opened the door, he saw that they were sleeping in the same bed.

They were also stuck together.

He couldn’t hide the smile in his eyes.

“I was worried and came over to take a look again. How is it? Is it better now?” The old master’s voice was clearly much more concerned than before.

“Much better, thanks to Shi Qian.”

Shi Qian was called by name and had to look up from the blanket.

“He’s fine, Grandpa. It’s late. Rest early.”

“That’s right, Grandpa. We have to rest too,” Fu Sinian echoed.

The old master looked at the bedding. “It’s so hot and you’re still covering yourselves with two blankets. You won’t get lice. I’ll take one out for you.”

Shi Qian quickly looked up at Fu Sinian.

Fu Sinian raised his hand and brushed the hair from her forehead.

“Grandpa’s right. Look how hot and sweaty you are.”

Shi Qian was speechless.

Fu Sinian had gone to a lot of trouble to get away with it and not make Grandpa suspicious! He was actually so cooperative.

She secretly lifted Fu Sinian’s blanket and got under it. Then she lifted the blanket above.

“Grandpa, why don’t I put it away myself?”

“Our room is small and there’s no space. I’ll take it out and place it elsewhere.” The old master went forward and grabbed the blanket. He curled it up into a ball and hugged it.

“Rest early.”

The old master left, satisfied.

Shi Qian heard the door close and fell weakly onto the bed.

Her heartbeat had yet to return to normal.

Fu Sinian glanced sideways at her, his lips curving again.

“Will Grandpa have anything to say now?” Shi Qian asked Fu Sinian.

“Not for a while,” Fu Sinian replied calmly.

Shi Qian suddenly sat up and looked at Fu Sinian seriously.

“Young Master Fu, I have to talk to you about resting tonight.”

“Yes.” Fu Sinian nodded.

“Grandpa found out about me sleeping on the floor. He was able to check the room twice today. Maybe he’ll check it more often in the future.”

Fu Sinian nodded again.

“Besides, Grandpa took the blanket away. It’s impossible for me to sleep on the ground now. I have to sleep on the bed so that we can get through the rest of the time safely and smoothly.”

“Sure.”

Shi Qian winced.

Fu Sinian agreed so easily?

“I don’t want any accidents either,” Fu Sinian said again.

Shi Qian picked up the pillow and placed it at the other end.

“Then I’ll sleep on this end.”

“Don’t point your foot at me!”

Shi Qian was speechless.

She moved the pillow back at the edge of the bed.

They both lay down, their backs to each other.

The lights went out, and the room fell silent. Only their breathing rose and fell.

When she first started to sleep, Shi Qian did not cover herself with a blanket.

After a while, she felt cold.

She turned, glanced at Fu Sinian, and quietly pulled a corner of the blanket over herself.

It still didn’t feel warm to cover so little.

She moved slowly and slept a little deeper.

The blanket could cover her entire body.

Suddenly, Fu Sinian turned.

Their shoulders collided.

Shi Qian panicked and gripped the blanket tightly!

Fu Sinian just turned around and nothing else happened.

He’s asleep, isn’t he?

They were too close now, almost touching.

Shi Qian inched out.
