Chapter 261: The Painting Is His

Wu Chong had been standing there for more than half an hour. Now that Qin Sheng and the rest had returned, Wu Chong simply sat on the sofa.

“Sheng Sheng, I’m here today to talk to you about your painting.”

Qin Sheng frowned.

Wu Chong continued, “Your painting has won first place in the country. I want to buy that painting from you. You can raise the price however you want.”

Wu Chong’s paintings were very popular in the country now, so he was not short of money.

Old Master Lu was unhappy. “Sheng Sheng, I want to buy your painting too.”

Old Master Lu spoke. Wu Chong had a bad feeling in his heart. He kept feeling that he would use some shameless methods.

Just as he thought of this, it was slapped away by Wu Chong.

Old Master Lu was a well-known figure. He usually appeared in front of everyone with an extremely serious look. Why would he use some shameless methods?

Wu Chong had underestimated Old Master Lu’s thick skin.

Old Master Lu’s face fell, and he looked pitiful. “Sheng Sheng, I like your painting. I don’t have many wishes, and it’s rare for me to come across a painting that I like. Sheng Sheng, just take it as my wish.”

Wu Chong: “…”

He had just seen Old Master Lu look at him with a smug look. Was this an illusion?

Although Old Man Lu was Wu Chong’s senior, Wu Chong didn’t want to let him off this time, so he quickly opened his mouth. “Sheng Sheng, look. You can decide the price. I like your painting too. I saw it during the selection and wanted to buy it. However, you still had to participate in the competition, so I didn’t ask for it.”

Old Man Lu glared at Wu Chong fiercely, then turned his head to look at Qin Sheng.

Wu Chong also looked at Qin Sheng with hope in his eyes.

Qin Sheng: “…”

She rubbed the space between her brows, feeling a headache coming on.

Qin Sheng was trying to organize her words to reject him when Fu Hanchuan spoke first. “Chairman Wu, Grandfather, Sheng Sheng has already promised to give me her painting.”

Old Master Lu: “…”

Wu Chong: “…”

They had been fighting over it for so long. It turned out that Fu Hanchuan had already reserved this painting.

Old Master Lu looked at Fu Hanchuan suspiciously. “When did this happen?”

Qin Sheng answered truthfully, “The day I was selected for the Youth Painting Competition.”

Old Master Lu glared at Fu Hanchuan angrily.

He was really smart. Day after day, he only knew how to compete with him.

Old Master Lu had regretted so many times that he had introduced Fu Hanchuan and Qin Sheng to each other so early.

Old Master Lu tried to negotiate with Fu Hanchuan again. “Hanchuan, I’m your grandfather. You can fulfill my little wish, can’t you?”

“First come, first served.” Fu Hanchuan raised his eyebrows.

Old Master Lu felt suffocated in his heart. He stood up because he didn’t want to see Fu Hanchuan anymore.

“I can’t have this grandson anymore. He’s always going against his grandfather. Really, I can’t help it when I’m older.”

Old Master Lu muttered as he walked out. His tone was filled with resentment.

Qin Sheng’s lips curled into a helpless smile.

Wu Chong was not in a good mood either. The painting that he was confident about had flown away just like that. Wu Chong felt very upset.

After all, he knew that Qin Sheng would not sell the painting to him, so Wu Chong did not ask any further.

“Sheng Sheng, your painting will be exhibited with some master’s paintings for a period of time. It will be sent back in about a month. This will greatly increase your popularity.”

Qin Sheng nodded her head indifferently. Painting was only one of her interests. She did not care whether she could become famous or not.
