Chapter 204: Cat In The Snow

Translator: Yunyi  Editor: Yunyi

Yu Gangan couldn’t stand it as she flipped her head to the sky in an unwomanly manner and rolled her eyes.

A man with substance?

Xia Chengzhou appeared more like an unreasonable man.

Su Jiushan liked him so she treated him like a treasure, but it didn’t mean that other people felt the same!

These two were a match made in heaven.

They were both ignorant and arrogant.

If they didn’t end up together, they would end up ruining other people’s lives.

After this incident, Yu Gangan did not look for Xia Chengzhou again. When the association notified her of the time and place for the shoot, she decided to go on her own.

Fortunately, the location wasn’t far; it was only 10 minutes walk.

She had been spending the past few days resting inside the dorms. So, even though the outside was covered in a layer of snow, the sun was out, making it the perfect opportunity for her to get some exercise.

Just outside the dormitory, there was a stall that sold lamb skewers.

Yu Gangan purchased a few skewers and ate them as she walked. But, just as she was about to place another bite of meat up to her mouth, she suddenly heard the cries of a cat, “Meow…”

She subconsciously glanced over and saw a cat running towards her.

Its silver-gray fur was smooth and silky with bright stripes. At first glance, it looked like a majestic little tiger. It knelt down beside her and cried gently, “Meow~~”

Yu Gangan took a bite of lamb as she looked around. There was no one else in sight.

She knelt down on the snow and patted the cat on the ear, “Whose cat are you? Why are you here?”

Was this a stray cat? It didn’t look like one.

This was a silver tabby; an expensive cat.

In fact, it was clean from head to toe. It was obvious that its owner took good care of it.

“Meow~~” the cat called as it lifted its head. Its clear and smart yellow-toned eyes looked like amber. They were cheerful and warm as they stared straight at Yu Gangan like they were trying to confirm something.

Yu Gangan devoured one skewer of lamb meat and placed another skewer in front of the cat, “Do you want some?”

The cat’s eyes blinked slowly as it stuck out its tongue and licked the lamb. It then rubbed its head against Yu Gangan’s leg and cried again, “Meow~~”

The voice was like a baby.

It was extremely dopey and cute.

Yu Gangan felt her heart melt. She was so tempted to take it home and make it her pet.

But, if she took it away, what would happen if its owner came looking for it?

Yu Gangan lifted the little cat off the snow. It seemed as though the cat had been cold for quite some time and had finally found some warmth, so it buried itself straight into her arms. It then stared up at her with its big round eyes, “Meow~~”

This was the cutest thing on Earth.

Yu Gangan looked left and right.

She wasn’t stealing the cat.

She was going to wait 10 minutes. If no one came in 10 minutes, then she would take the cat away.

The weather was so cold. If the cat continued to wander in the snow like this, it would eventually get sick from the cold.

Suddenly, a car stopped on the side of the road and one of its doors opened.

Yu Gangan thought the cat’s owner had come looking for it. But instead, she saw Fang Zhihan step out. He was wearing a collared shirt, a brown woolen coat, and a black scarf.

“Why are you here?” Yu Gangan asked as she carried the cat to Fang Zhihan’s side.

How long had he been in the car? Was he looking for her? Why didn’t he call?

Yu Gangan had already made too many incorrect assumptions in the past. This time, she did not dare to assume that he was looking for her.
