Chapter 1707: Misunderstanding
Queen Yulia woke up that afternoon.
Shen Fanxing stayed by the bed.
When she first saw Shen Fanxing, there was an indescribable emotion in her eyes.
“You’re awake.”
Shen Fanxing said softly with a faint smile on her face.
Queen Yulia nodded gently and turned to look out of the window. The sky had darkened.
After a moment of silence, as if recalling everything that had happened, she took a deep breath.
Without a word, Shen Fanxing poured her a glass of water and swirled it gently.
She felt melancholy, pity, and even sadness. She couldn’t say anything.
She was hurt by her granddaughter whom she had doted on for more than twenty years. Even though she was the closest person to her, she couldn’t judge her.
“Fanxing.”
Queen Yulia spoke slowly, her hand grabbing Shen Fanxing’s shirt.
Shen Fanxing looked down at her.
“Yes?”
“Are you blaming me in your heart?”
Shen Fanxing pursed her lips and replied, “No.”
Her answer was too simple and sounded too cold.
Queen Yulia pursed her lips. “You still resent me.”
“Grandma.” Shen Fanxing put down the cup and helped Queen Yulia sit up.
“Putting everything aside, I’m actually very grateful for the existence of the three of them all these years. Since they can be so arrogant and use this matter as a bargaining chip, it’s not without reason. It’s my appearance that shattered your relationship for so many years. You insist that I blame you. Do you also agree that I made you sad?”
Shen Fanxing picked up the cup again and handed it to her. “Actually, it’s not wrong for you to blame me. But I’m your grandson. You can’t do anything about it.”
Queen Yulia blinked and looked at Shen Fanxing in surprise.
He couldn’t believe that she would say such shameless words.
She lowered her head and took a sip of water. The temperature was just right.
“I don’t blame you. Although I feel sad and regretful, I want to know the truth more than being deceived. I’ve been in charge of state affairs my entire life and I know everything clearly. In the end, I was deceived for my entire life. It’s too insulting to my character. As long as I’m alive, I have to be innocent and clear.”
Shen Fanxing nodded and said, “That’s good.”
If they were stubborn, they would be condemned by the world.
–
The news of Queen Yulia fainting attracted everyone’s attention.
Ye Jingyun and Bailey had been hiding at home for the past few days.
Every day, morning, noon, and night, there would be a large number of reporters watching them.
They couldn’t even protect themselves. Even Bei Xi was helpless.
Ye Jingyun was furious and her eyes were bloodshot. She either locked herself in her bedroom or sat on the sofa in a daze.
Bailey was in a similar state.
She hated Shen Fanxing for forcing her, but she hated Bei Xi even more.
It consumed their good impression of their grandmother bit by bit. Her last few words ruined their future.
Not to mention the right to the throne, she had even lost her title as a princess!
With her bad reputation, she couldn’t imagine what would happen if she went out now.
Everything was over.
She admitted that she had been improving herself in all aspects all these years.
She thought that she was calm enough and could maintain her best state of mind. Her skills, appearance, personality, popularity, and shrewdness were all on par with anyone.
All these years, she had never questioned herself.
Hence, no matter how terrifying Shen Fanxing’s reputation was, she had never taken her seriously.
But now, with just one move, she had been harmed.
Her fingers almost pierced through her palm. She tried her best to calm herself down and find a way out.
But now, she couldn’t even leave the door or enter the palace. What could she do?
At this moment, she turned to look at Ye Jingyun.
She had always known that her mother had many tricks up her sleeve. At such a critical moment, she couldn’t sit back and do nothing.
But when she looked over countless times, Ye Jingyun still looked distracted.
She sat there in a daze, not knowing what she was thinking.
She gritted her teeth in exasperation. “Mom! What are you thinking?!”
Ye Jingyun turned to look at her in a daze.
Bailey stood up abruptly and looked down at her. Her voice sounded hysterical.
“Bei Xi is now locked up in prison. There are so many reporters outside watching us. Her title as the princess has been taken back. Do you know what’s going on? You’ve been sitting at home like this for two days! What do you want?!”
Ye Jingyun blinked and said calmly, “What do you want me to do? Aren’t you good at scheming? You can even scheme against me. Why haven’t you thought of anything good?”
Bailey frowned and stared at Ye Jingyun as if she was a monster.
“Are you crazy?”
Ye Jingyun also stood up and stared at Bailey with bloodshot eyes.
“I’m not in the mood to argue with you now. You’d better stay away from me!”
Ye Jingyun’s condition had been abnormal for the past few days. Bei Lei watched as she went upstairs with a sinister expression.
Queen Yulia had been recuperating for the past two days and rejected everyone’s visits.
The next night, someone informed her that Mr Bo was going to the palace to visit Queen Yulia.
After having dinner with the queen, the queen, who was admiring the flowers in the greenhouse, agreed and smiled at Shen Fanxing.
“It’s only been a night and he can’t hold it in anymore. When I first found out that the two of you were together, I was indeed surprised. He looked too cold and didn’t look like a man who could stay for love. Back then, I even felt that it was unbelievable for a woman to appear by his side. I also felt that he… might be good at anything except dealing with women… I didn’t expect my granddaughter to conquer him in the end.”
Shen Fanxing was the worst at teasing Bo Jinchuan and her face turned red.
“You might have some misunderstanding about him…”
How was he the cold person she had mentioned? He wasn’t the kind of person who didn’t stop for love, especially when dealing with women?
“How?”
Shen Fanxing pursed her lips and said, “I’m afraid there’s no man in this world who can make a woman happy better than him.”
Queen Yulia was in disbelief. “He doesn’t look like someone who is that enlightened.”
She was an emotional idiot.
Shen Fanxing pursed her lips and said softly, “He was the one who prepared the cat for me at Miss Fina’s birthday party.”
Queen Yulia was speechless.
[Fanxing is a vengeful Fanxing today. Why don’t you vote to comfort her?]
