Chapter 1821: On the summit (5)

Hearing that, Huang Yueli’s nose wrinkled as she raised her delicate little chin with a face of disapproval.

“The Sky Ascension Stairs which your Blue Profound Sect set up, isn’t it to filter out the outstanding disciples with the Sect for nurturing? Climb up a few more meters and it will definitely be advantageous. I know this point which is why I persisted on climbing up, otherwise would I intentionally look for a beating for no good reason! Do you really think I’m dumb?”

“You’re indeed not dumb, but…..” Li Moying casted a glance at her and gave a humpf, “Is that the only reason why you climbed up here?”

“Of course…..”

Huang Yueli originally wanted to insist on the explanation which she was saying before but when her sight grazed past Li Moying’s face, she discovered that this man had a “I know everything” expression and she instantly deflated as she pouted her lips.

“Alright, there was another teeny weeny bit of reason and that’s because I can’t stand that woman Cang Ning Yue. Who asked her to use that kind of gaze towards you, as though you’re hers! What was wrong with that, I’m the one who’s your fiancée, just what sprout does she think she is?”

The more Huang Yueli said, the angrier she got as she stretched out her fingers and twisted part of Li Moying’s arm, “Say for yourself, why does Cang Ning Yue think of herself in that kind of inevitable and right way? In the past I already found her to be very strange. Have you been doing anything that you shouldn’t behind my back?”

Li Moying’s breathing took a pause, as he finally realised that he had asked a question which he should never have asked.

Originally he only wanted to tease his little fox a little, but he had not expected her to recall the matter regarding Cang Ning Yue instead…..

He could sense deeply now, what was called as moving the stone to smash his own feet.

Meeting Huang Yueli’s ferocious big eyes, he coughed out fiercely, “This… Li’er, you obviously know it’s impossible for there to be anything between me and her. She can’t even be compared to a finger of yours, how could I possibly take any interest in her?”

As Li Moying was saying that, his expression slowly turned chilly.

He really had not expected that Cang Ning Yue had actually provoked Huang Yueli in their past lives.

No wonder when he wooed Huang Yueli then, when he invited the little fox to come to Blue Profound Sect as his guest with the original intention to improve their relationship, but in the end it actually angered her instead, making the both of them almost separating totally!

Cang Ning Yue… she was simply looking for death!

Huang Yueli stared at him in a worked up manner.

Actually she knew that it was a degrading act for her to compare herself with Cang Ning Yue this kind of woman, but the moment she recalled the gaze which she casted onto Li Moying, she really couldn’t help the sourish feeling from gushing up.

Li Moying realised that something was amiss as an idea popped up and he quickly changed topic, “Alright, Li’er, we will talk about this matter another day. I guarantee that after we leave this place, I will give you a satisfactory reply. Now… should you head towards the lake to recuperate? The injuries on you, it’s not wise to drag it out for too long.”

“Oh…” For matters related to cultivation, Huang Yueli started to become solemn.

Li Moying’s gaze went round her face, “…. But it’s not advisable to soak too long as well because it will cause one to become groggy. In future, I will still bring you over here.”

Heavens knows that if he continued to stay around this delicate little beautiful fiancée with disorderly clothing, how much self-restraint would he finally have left!

The next time if he were to bring her along, he would definitely bring along a large towel, wrapping up this little fox completely!

Li Moying thought about this hatefully.

On seeing Huang Yueli sitting back obediently and even started to cultivate, he shifted his gaze away as he looked out into the far distance.

Recalling the incidental questions which Huang Yueli posed earlier, Li Moying’s mood turned extremely heavy.
