Chapter 256 Rifle for the Invader

Zhang Laifu knew little about martial arts, but he was so tough that he made no sound when his wrist was snapped. His left hand punched toward Sato Junichi’s jaw.

“You ignorant people! We’ll see how much more you can take!”

A cruel smile emerged on Sato Junichi’s face. He reached out again to grab Zhang Laifu’s left hand. He was going to snap both hands of the Huaxia man.

Another cracking and another screaming came, but not from Zhang Laifu. It was Sato Junichi; his right hand had been snapped into two.

It was Qin Haodong that was acting. He would never stand and watch his own people be bullied by the Japanese in their own country. There were too many onlookers earlier, so Zhang Laifu’s right hand had already been injured when he arrived.

So he had no mercy on the invaders. A hand for a hand; he snapped Sato Junichi’s wrist.

“You bastard!”

Sato Junichi was surprised that a powerhouse popped out from nowhere. He took a few steps backwards, and stood beside Yagyuu Genpachiro.

Yagyuu Genpachiro took out a short sword and yelled at Qin Haodong, “Who are you to assault him, a Japanese samurai?”

Qin Haodong glanced at him coldly and said, “Shame on you to call yourself ‘samurai’. What kind of warrior are you to hurt an ordinary man like that? Is that the so-called ‘samurai spirit’?”

Li Donghai climbed up from the ground. He was as timid as a rat, but not in front of Qin Haodong, because somehow he was sure that the guy wouldn’t dare to do too much to him. He stepped forward and yelled, “Qin Haodong, are you crazy? How dare you assault the honorable Japanese guests? Apologize! On your knees!”

Qin Haodong had seen enough of his traitor looks. The guy had disgraced his grandpa. Qin Haodong said murderously, “Get the hell out of here now, or I’ll kill you.”

The onlookers were gathering more and more. They hated Li Donghai’s guts, the traitor.

“You damn traitor. I’ll kill you!”

A middle-aged man standing aside couldn’t suppress his anger anymore. He punched on Li Donghai’s face, and left a panda eye.

“How dare you hit me…?”

Li Donghai wanted to put up with it, but before he finished speaking, a big crab flew to him, and stuck on his face, followed by scallops, pimp shrimp and beer bottles.

“You traitor! Get out of here!”

Now the yelling and scolding were overwhelming. Li Donghai was afraid that he would be beaten to death if he stayed; therefore, he left his two masters behind and rushed out of the Riverside Tower in haste.

After Li Donghai was driven away, the onlookers’ anger went to the two Japanese warriors.

“Kill the two Japanese.”

“Kill him! How dare he! Acting so wildly in our motherland!”

During the screaming and yelling, the seafood shells once again focused on the two Japanese. Yagyuu Genpachiro and Sato Junichi were pushed into an awkward position.

“Damn you! I’ll kill you all!”

Yagyuu Genpachiro was furious. His eyes were glaring and his hand raised the short sword.

In the meantime, someone was yelling at the door, “Stop! All of you!”

The onlookers looked back; they saw a Japanese warrior, and a woman in Japanese costume, standing on wooden slippers in the hall of the restaurant.

The woman bowed to everyone and apologized in fluent Huaxia language, “I apologize to everyone.”

The woman had a beautiful face, with the unique features of Japanese women. Her humble attitude and the apologizing bow eased everyone’s anger.

After apologizing, the woman raised her head and walked fast to Yagyuu Genpachiro and Sato Junichi. Her gentle expression changed all of a sudden. She slapped the two on their faces.

“You two broke the rules and sneaked out. Now go back and wait for your punishment.”

The two’s faces were swollen, but their expressions became humbler. They lowered their heads and answered, “Yes, Miss Chiba.’

The woman in costume turned back and bowed again to the other people in the hall. She said in a sweet voice, “Hello everyone. I’m Chiba Mieko from the Yagyuu family in Japan. Please allow me to apologize for whatever mistakes they made today. Please rest assured. I’ll punish them hard as soon as I get back.”

When she was doing that, the Japanese man stood by and watched. He didn’t talk but his face showed his pride. He was the young master of the Yagyuus in Japan, named Yagyuu Hirai.

Chiba Mieko turned back and stared at Yagyuu Genpachiro and Sato Junichi, saying, “Hurry up and return with me, you two.”

After she said that, the four Japanese were going to leave the Riverside Tower. Qin Haodong took a step forward and blocked in front of them. He said slightly, “Wait a minute!”

Chiba Mieko checked Qin Haodong and asked, “Anything else, sir?”

Qin Haodong said, “The two of your fellows just publicly insulted our Huaxia here, and they’ve hurt my fellows. Now you want to leave? Are you looking down on us?”

Yagyuu Genpachiro yelled, “You’ve also hurt Sato. What do you want?”

“Would you please shut up? Are you even allowed to talk here?” Chiba Mieko glared at him and continued, “Sir, forgive me for not knowing he had hurt somebody else. We’ll be more than willing to pay for it. I happen to know medical skills, and can help cure them.”

Qin Haodong said, “We don’t need you to pay or your treatment. We’ve got our own doctors.”

Chiba Mieko scanned the people standing around, and she could immediately tell that Zhang Laifu was the injured one. She said, “Sir, let me get it clear for you. My fellow used special skills to break the bones, which will make it impossible for ordinary doctors to cure it. Please allow me to treat him.”

“I said we don’t need it. Those injures are too light to be taken seriously in Huaxia.”

Zhang Laifu had been standing by Qin Haodong. Qin Haodong said as he grabbed Zhang Laifu’s hand, he pulled his two hands and set the broken bones after a short cracking sound.

Seeing how proficient Qin Haodong was, Chiba Mieko’s pupils concentrated. She was surprised that the man standing in front of her was a medical expert.

Moments ago, Zhang Laifu’s forehead was sweating because of the pain. After Qin Haodong’s treatment, the pain had disappeared and his expression went back to normal.

“Thank you so much, dude.” Zhang Laifu said gratefully.

“It’s a piece of cake.” Qin Haodong said lightly.

Chiba Mieko asked, “Sir, your medical skills really impressed me. Can you tell me how you did that?”

“No.” Qin Haodong refused coldly, “Your country once learned much from ours, and how did you pay us back?”

Yagyuu Hirai yelled, “Miss Mieko, the man was is too rude. Your medical skills are good enough, and you don’t have to learn from a Huaxia man. Let’s go.”

Qin Haodong said, “You can leave with her, but not those two.”

Yagyuu Hirai said angrily, “Noble as Miss Mieko is, she has already apologized to you. What else do you want?”

Qin Haodong said, “Lots of things were forgivable, but some are not. They insulted our country, and hurt our people. They’ll have to pay the price.”

The onlookers also yelled, “That’s right! They’ve hurt people, and they can’t just get away with it.”

“What good are cops for if apology works on everything?”

“No one would buy her apology. They were just there insulting our country…”

“You, you’ve been way out of line.” Yagyuu Hirai was going to lose his temper but Chiba Mieko stopped him. She turned back to Qin Haodong and asked, “It was indeed their fault. What do you want them to do?”

Qin Haodong said with a cold face, “As warriors, they attacked ordinary people, that’ll cost them a hand; they insulted Huaxia, and that’ll cost another hand of theirs. They shall not leave until they disable both their arms.”

Chiba Mieko’s face turned cold. She said, “That’s highly unlikely. I can’t meet that requirement of yours. They’re both warriors; that would ruin their lives.”

“Suddenly, they know they’re warriors now? Why didn’t they realize it when they attacked ordinary people in Huaxia?”

Qin Haodong said with a domineering attitude, “I’ll count down from three to zero, and I’ll do it myself if they don’t.”

“That’s great! Young man! We’ve got your back!”

“The Japanese are bullying our people. We have to teach them a lesson!”

“We treat the guests with wine and we get rifles for the invaders! Well done, young man! We don’t have to treat them as guests!”

At the moment, the crowd was infuriated, and all of them were supporting Qin Haodong.

Yagyuu Hirai yelled sternly, “How dare you! Nobody gets to offend the dignity of a samurai!”

Qin Haodong ignored him and started the countdown. “3…2…1…”

After he finished the last number, his body shook and jumped to Sato Junichi and Yagyuu Genpachiro. He was moving so fast that Yagyuu Genpachiro’s hands were both snapped before he could react.

“Bloody Huaxia man, are you sick of living?”

Yagyuu Hirai yelled and slapped heavily on the back of Qin Haodong’s head. He was trying to save Sato Junichi by attacking Qin Haodong; however, Qin Haodong ignored it and grabbed Sato Junichi’s intact hand, and then he snapped it into two.

“You bastard!”

Yagyuu Hirai roared and his slap grew fiercer. The guy’s strike was overwhelming. He must’ve reached the Covert Power realm.

But before his palm could touch Qin Haodong’s nape, a fair hand reached out from nowhere, and easily blocked the warrior’s strike.

It was Qin Wan’er. She fought the warrior’s palm with her own. The two were equal in power and at the moment they were in a deadlock.

“You jerk!”

The warrior was so stunned. He had been proud of himself, and his cultivation had reached the third level of the Covert Power. He was so astonished that Qi Wan’er could counter his strike, and fight with him as an equal.

Since Qin Haodong had disabled Yagyuu Genpachiro and Sato Junichi, he turned back and said lightly, “That’s a lesson I taught you this time. Next time you insult my country, you shall die for it!”

“You bastard!” The warrior was so angry. He reached out to pull out the sword on his waist, but was again stopped by Chiba Mieko.

“Mr. Yagyuu. Don’t get so impulsive, and don’t forget why we’re here!”

The Japanese woman was quite a tactical one. She knew the two Huaxia people standing in front of her were not as simple as how they looked. Yagyuu Hirai had little chance to win if confronted with Qin Wan’er, let alone Qin Haodong, whose power was yet to be known. Any impulsive move would only end up insulting themselves.

However, Yagyuu Hirai was obviously thinking otherwise. He thought Qin Haodong was not powerful at all because he needed a woman to protect him.

He yelled, “Miss Mieko. The damn Huaxia man hurt our warriors. We have to teach him a lesson.”
