Chapter 894: Drive

“Yes!” The team received the order and quickly prepared to aim their beam weapons for the next round of bombardment.

“Eh?” Yang Yi’s brows twitched as he realized that something was wrong.

The fusion Tyrant forms that had been dazedly standing where they were until now had produced enhanced revolving machine guns from the broken coffins after being attacked.

They aimed the black muzzles at the group of Federation players.

“Be careful! Find cover!” Yang Yi’s back was drenched in a cold sweat and he immediately shouted.

“Thump, thump, thump, thump!” In the next second, deafening gunfire rang through the night sky.

Tongues of fire continuously shot out from the revolving machine guns!

“Cover! Find cover!”

The dense bullets formed a huge net.

The Federation players quickly lowered their heads and looked for cover.

Yang Yi and the players at the rear hid behind a large cover, a layer of cold sweat on their foreheads.

The enemy’s firepower was too strong. Ordinary small rocks and trees could not withstand the attack, and were blown to pieces by the large-caliber bullets!

With such a powerful firepower output, the entire team from the Federation was completely suppressed.

Were the opponents really just ordinary Tyrant creatures?

A moment later, the gunshots stopped.

“Captain, the beam weapons are fully charged!”

“Listen to my orders. Don’t move yet,” Yang Yi replied. He peeked out from behind the cover to observe the Tyrant forms.

Eh? What was going on?

Yang Yi was shocked again.

The group of Tyrants from the Zombie Apocalypse did not change their magazines after finishing their current magazines of ammunition. Instead, they threw away the equipment in their hands and the magazines on their backs. Then, they started running in the other direction of the war zone.

Wait, um… All of them ran away? What was going on?

The rest of the federal soldiers also had confused looks on their faces.

This is bad, they were in big trouble!

Yang Yi scratched his head in frustration.

The zombie life forms have escaped. What if the zombie virus spreads?

He must stop them.

“Quick, inform the headquarters, we’ll chase after…” Just as he was about to lead his subordinates to chase after the Tyrant forms, a large number of vampires found an opportunity to pounce on them.

“Commander! Look!”

Not far away, the vampire’s magic array that had just stopped operating once again bloomed with red light.

“Crack, crack, crack…” The space above the magic array was filled with fine cracks.

“Bang!” The crack shattered, and the red time passage opened up again in the sky.

“Whoosh!” A long-haired female vampire stepped out of the magic array.

It was a vampire Duke!

Was this even real?! What was going on tonight? Had they barged in on a parade of demons and ghosts?

Yang Yi immediately whispered, “Quick, report to the superiors. A high-tier vampire Duke has appeared. We need immediate support.”

As he spoke, Yang Yi picked up the sniper rifle next to him, aimed it at the vampire Nan who was in the air, then pulled the trigger.

High up in the sky, the vampire Duke, Nan, looked around.

The Federation!

Nan’s face revealed an expression of “I knew it”.

Old Black was secretly colluding with the Federation!

But why would the Federation need zombies?

“Whoosh! Whoosh!”

Facing the sniper bullets coming from below, Nan opened her hand.

“Bang! Bang, bang!”

The incoming bullets exploded in the air.

Either way, she needed to protect the teleportation array at the back from any threats, and get rid of the Federation as soon as possible. Then, she’d chase after Old Black.

While thinking, Nan cut her palm with her fingernail and wrung it forward.

The blood that splattered out gathered into tiny bats in the air and quickly chased in the direction that the fusion Tyrant forms had left.

Next, Nan lowered her head and took the lead in diving toward the Federation soldiers.

Fang Heng didn’t know what exactly was happening at the teleportation passage. Less than ten minutes after the bus sped forward, he soon sensed the Tyrant forms that were running wildly in the forest under the night sky.

“Stop!” The players hired by Old Black were very shocked when they saw many tall shadows suddenly emerge from the forest next to them. They slammed on the brakes.

Chi…!

The bus left a long trail of brake lines on the ground.

Success!

Fusion Tyrant forms!

He finally managed to get them into the real world!

Fang Heng lowered his head and looked at the time. It had been more than 40 minutes since Maica started counting.

In theory, he should be able to make it if he headed back now.

“Old Black, I’ll go first, you guys follow.”

The fusion Tyrant forms were definitely faster than the bus.

Moreover, zombies didn’t know fatigue and didn’t need to rest.

As he said that, Fang Heng opened the door of the bus and rushed out.

The tips of his toes touched the ground lightly, and Fang Heng easily climbed onto a fusion Tyrant form’s back.

“Chi, chi, chi…” Vines extended from the fusion Tyrant form’s back and firmly held Fang Heng in place.

“Let’s meet at the vampire’s gathering point,” Fang Heng waved his hand at Old Black.

The fusion Tyrant forms thus ran once again toward the front.

Old Black’s mercenaries gulped, shocked by what they saw.

One looked back at Old Black who was at the back of the bus, and his lips moved, “Boss, we…”

“Young people nowadays are so energetic,” Old Black said, shaking his head, “Hurry up, we have to follow.”

Chenghe Region, Xianwu Mountain was the Northern Federation’s 5A-grade natural scenic area.

It was one of the ritual gathering points that the twelve corporations had set up in the Northern Federation.

At the foot of the mountain, Maica rushed to the top with the vampires as if his life depended on it.

He was on the verge of madness!

Along the way, there had been countless pursuers.

It wasn’t just the people from the Federation who had caught up. Even the teams formed by the unknown players had also caught up, wanting to get a share of the loot.

It was as though a tiger left its hills and descended to the plains, being bullied by a dog!

Maica and the rest of the vampires had just suffered due to Rio’s self-explosion just now and were not in good condition, to begin with. Along the way, they also had to drag along the half-dead “offering” and the heavy left arm of the vampire King, so their movement speed was increasingly delayed.

The journey was bumpy.

Fortunately, high-tier vampires had come from all directions to help along the way, allowing them to barely manage to hold on until now.

Maica’s back was drenched in sweat.

After great difficulty to get to the foot of Xianwu Mountain, he saw two vampire Marquises flying toward him.

Finally, the reinforcements were here.

Maica heaved a sigh of relief, glad that he was lucky.

While on their way, Maica had sent a few vampires to the ritual gathering point on Xianwu Mountain in advance to ask for help.

The vampire Marquis, Fant, who had come to receive Maica, had met the latter a few times. He smiled and said, “Maica, why are you in such a sorry state?”

Maica didn’t even have the strength to joke. He simply shook his head and said, “There are many pursuers, be careful.”

“Got it. Leave the rest to us. Those from the Elders Council are waiting for you up the peak. They have already finished the preparations for the ritual.”

“Okay,” Maica nodded and did not say anything else. He led his group of injured soldiers and dragged the Vampire King’s incomplete body to the rock wall entrance halfway up the mountain.
