938 A Big Loss

The Federation radio was in a mess. Old Black’s private survival radio soon had an additional row of notifications too.

Then, the bat-form vampires flew in from the outside carrying pieces of fusion spatial crystals and throwing them on the floor of the teleportation hall.

The zombie clones began to pack them, putting the fusion spatial crystals that were thrown on the ground into wooden boxes and moving them into the space passage.

Old Black looked at this and smiled bitterly inside.

Was Fang Heng that skilled? It was obviously not the first time he had done this!

Since he was already a part of all this, Old Black had no choice but to reply to the Federation radio and private messages to delay the return of the main force of the Federation.

A moment later, Old Black raised his head, “We still have an hour. The Federation received news that there might be some confidential information in the Elder Council and the vampires might retaliate, so they are preparing to return to the Elder Council to provide support. I told them that I’ve protected the important information resources in advance. I can only help you stall for an hour at most. After an hour, two main elite teams of the Federation will rush back.”

“No problem,” Fang Heng made an OK hand gesture to Old Black.

Mo Jiawei chimed in, “The time is enough. We’re very familiar with this job. One hour should be enough.”

After more than two hours of hard work in total, Fang Heng and Mo Jiawei finally got out of the game cabin at the back of the car when everything was settled.

Mo Jiawei’s eyes were bright, “God, we’ve made a huge profit this time!”

“It’s alright,” Fang Heng almost couldn’t restrain the corners of his lips from smiling.

Something as dangerous as the passage between the game world and the real world should be in his own hands to be safe!

The many fusion spatial crystals and spatial dust that they had moved from District One filled up three medium-sized warehouses in the prison. It was enough for them to maintain the spatial passage between the game and the real world for at least a week.

“Ahem, Mr. Jiawei, I’m sorry to interrupt your conversation,” The driver said at this time, “We’ve already entered the periphery of the Federation’s prohibited area. From now on, there will be major interference with mobile phone signals. There’s a high probability that we won’t be able to use our mobile phones after entering the restricted area. In addition, the Federation strictly restricts civilians from entering. If we go in any further, we’ll encounter the Federation’s patrol team. We can only go this far by car.”

“Yes, you’ve worked hard. You can go back first.”

Fang Heng and Mo Jiawei got off the car.

To protect the safety of the citizens, the Federation had already constructed a protective net around the periphery of the isolation point to prevent the aura of the death realm from spreading any further.

The area within the protective net was the Federation’s restricted area, and all unrelated personnel was prohibited from entering.

Barging in by force would be considered a serious crime by the Federation.

Mo Jiawei had called Chen Yu to ask about the situation on the way here.

According to Chen Yu, the missions related to the Necromancer Association had been handed over to a high-ranking military officer of the Eastern Federation. Chen Yu would try to help them get an entry pass, but he didn’t think there would be much hope for success.

After all, Chen Yu’s job was related to the game. He didn’t have much say in the military’s affairs outside of the game, and his actions might even have the opposite effect.

Feeling helpless, Fang Heng could only think of another way.

He didn’t expect that he would be able to successfully contact Tan Shuo and Li Shaoqiang from the Necromancer Association.

Fang Heng had thought that the two of them would be assigned to work in the Necromancer Association’s area. After all, that area was their home ground, and all communications in that area were blocked by the aura of the death realm.

He didn’t expect to be able to contact them!

Li Shaoqiang almost cried when he heard Fang Heng’s voice over the phone.

He was so excited that his eyes filled with tears.

He had finally found who he wanted to find. The return on his investment in the fallen corridor would finally come!

When Li Shaoqiang heard that Fang Heng was near the Necromancer Association, he immediately gave the latter a coordinate and told him that he would be there soon to pick him up and bring him into the sealed area.

Fang Heng and Mo Jiawei waited at the spot for more than ten minutes. Soon, a military vehicle drove over from the distance.

Li Shaoqiang stuck his head out of the car window excitedly and waved at Fang Heng from afar, “Mr. Fang, it’s been a long time! How are you?”

“Not bad! And you?”

This time, he had obtained the Vampire King’s coffin and two parts of the Vampire King’s remains. The harvest was still quite impressive.

“I’m very good, get in the car!”

The military vehicle stopped in front of Fang Heng and Mo Jiawei.

Li Shaoqiang pushed the car door open and let the two into the car. Then, the car turned around and headed where it came from.

Fang Heng asked curiously, ” So you two are working in the temporary camp now?”

“We’re members of the Federation, after all. We’re also members of the Necromancer Association, so we’re very familiar with this area. It’s only a given for us to be assigned to work here,” Speaking of this, Li Shaoqiang scratched his head in embarrassment, “Mr. Fang, thanks to your help last time, the Federation thought that we were the ones who discovered the gathering point of the vampires. As such, we successfully destroyed the stronghold and caught a commander-level spy, thus accidentally making a first-class contribution.”

“It’s a pity that we’re not from the operations department or the Investigation Bureau. Even if we were promoted, they wouldn’t give us any real power, so we got two made-up positions. It just so happens that we’re both people who understand the Necromancer Association well. During critical times, special things have to be done, so the higher-ups sent us here to help. We’re mainly in charge of some coordination work with the Necromancer Association. It’s quite an idle job.”

“Come to think of it, it’s quite a coincidence. When you contacted us, we were at the Federation’s gathering point branch. The Federation has special signal towers at each gathering point that can receive external signals on and off. Once we leave the area, the signals won’t work and communication is basically zero.”

Li Shaoqiang said, “By the way, Mr. Fang, there’s a batch of supplies that we need to send to the Necromancer Association. Let’s hurry up and catch up so that we can also escort the supplies to the association on the way. It won’t be a problem, right?”

“It doesn’t matter,” Fang Heng looked at Li Shaoqiang suspiciously, “But brother, you didn’t plan to do this all along, did you?”

“Hahaha, I almost lost all my money some time ago. I have to recover some of my losses as soon as possible…” Li Shaoqiang laughed when Fang Heng saw through him.

“The Federation has issued a mission to the common public. The player teams who accept the mission will be responsible for the mobilization and distribution of resources. We’re just escorting them on the way, and we can get some merit points after that. It’s on the way anyway, and it’s easier to settle things with more people. Otherwise, we’ll have to clean up the undead creatures on the way ourselves while going to the Association. It’s quite troublesome.”

Fang Heng agreed in his heart and said, “Alright, let’s hurry up then.”

Tan Shuo stepped on the accelerator, and the military vehicle sped forward.

“By the way, Mr. Fang, do you remember Qian Yaoyun?”

Fang Heng thought carefully, “That guy who was trapped in the fallen corridor with us?”
