1669 Terror Attack

Due to the lack of manpower and the fog in the exhibition halls, the leader of the federal team did not immediately give the order to attack. Instead, he thought of ways to seal off the exits and rescue the trapped people.

Mr. Wei Ke waited anxiously at the door.

Seeing Fang Heng and a few students come out, he immediately shouted and waved at them.

Like the other students who had escaped, Fang Heng pretended to be frightened as he rushed to Mr. Wei Ke to gather with the students from Haines School.

Soon, the explosions in the museum died down.

Accompanied by ear-piercing sirens, the armed reinforcement of the Federation officially arrived and surrounded the exhibition hall.

Fang Heng and the students also returned to the bus under the orders of the Federation police.

The police car cleared the way, and the bus of Haines School students and teachers returned to the Federation for further investigation.

Mr. Wei Ke was very anxious as he kept making phone calls along the way. He only heaved a sigh of relief after confirming that no students were in danger.

Fang Heng received a call from Tong Jia at the same time.

“Fang Heng, are you okay? Have you left the exhibition hall with the teachers and students?”

“Yes, I’m with the school teacher. I’m about to go to the Federation police station to make an investigation statement. Are you alright?”

“I’m fine. The attackers were probably from an anti-federal organization. There were too many of them, and I couldn’t stop them.”

Tong Jia was furious!

Her research took two years to achieve the results she had today.

It was an exhibition for the public, but before she could show her face, she was inexplicably involved in a terror attack!

For this reason, she even stayed behind to fight with the attacker.

Unfortunately, she didn’t gain any advantage.

The most infuriating thing was that according to the information she got from the Federation, this was a terrorist attack by an anti-federal organization.

Most of the exhibited items had been destroyed in the attack.

The losses were still being calculated, and her exhibition item was also unluckily affected!

The research results that she had worked so hard to produce had been ruined by the anti-federal organization!

“It’s okay. At least your research results have been recognized…”

Fang Heng did not know how to comfort her. Suddenly, a thought flashed through his mind and he said, “Can it be restored? Since you’re a researcher, if you can find the fragments of the explosion…”

Tong Jia did not hold much hope for recovery. She shook her head and said, “It’s too difficult. They’ve probably been blown up into ruins. The ruins at the scene will be sealed by the Federation as evidence. It won’t be so easy for us to get it back.”

As a member of the attack, Fang Heng could only try his best to find a few words of comfort.

After hanging up the phone, Fang Heng lowered his head and pondered.

It seemed that Tong Jia and the Federation didn’t realize how important the disc was. They had not even figured out the objective of this operation!

Therefore, Fang Heng found it strange.

What was this fragment used for?

At the police station, a young police officer recorded Fang Heng’s statement. The place was overcrowded because there were so many people in the exhibition hall at that time and everyone was called over to make a statement.

The Federation had already concluded that it was a terrorist act after investigating the scene.

There were too many witnesses involved in the terrorist incident, so the police officers did not further verify the identities of the people.

During the interrogation, Fang Heng told the truth except for the part where he secretly took a fragment.

The police officer took his statement and did not find any unusual behavior from Fang Heng.

Soon, due to the pressure from Haines School, the Federation released all of them after completing the investigation.

“It seems that I’ve successfully muddled through.”

After leaving the police station, Fang Heng heaved a sigh of relief.

When the Black Castle invaded, they destroyed all the surveillance systems. Even through the internet, they could only capture the scene of him entering the exhibition hall.

Everything he did in front of the camera was normal, and even the angle at which he took the fragment was calculated.

Even if the surveillance system was still running, it could not capture his movements.

The students had not fully recovered from their shock when they boarded the return bus.

On the way, Mr. Wei Ke called one after another.

“Everyone, don’t worry. The matter is already over. The Federation has just informed the school that this is a terrorist attack related to anti-federation forces. The school’s classes will be temporarily postponed for the next two days. The school will soon compensate everyone for their losses. Also, please keep your phones switched on for the next few days and cooperate with the Federation’s investigation…”

Mr. Wei Ke bowed to everyone on the bus to express his apology.

He had a lot of work to do next. He still had to go to the hospital to visit the students who were injured in the incident.

Fang Heng sat on the bus with his eyes closed and returned to school.

Two whole days passed.

Outside of the game, the police’s investigation did not go in the direction of Haines School or Tong Jia’s research.

Fang Heng had heard from some conversations that the Federation had already found the culprit from all sorts of clues and confirmed that the attack was done by the Black Castle.

However, they did not know the true purpose of the Black Castle!

As offline lessons were temporarily canceled, Fang Heng could only pause his studies and enter the game.

When he was free, he would use his zombie clones to gain experience points in spatial science.

His days were peaceful and fulfilling.

By the lake, Fang Heng stretched out his hand and the black crystals floating on the surface of the lake flew into his palm.

[Hint: The player has obtained 327 Tier 1 mutant crystals *372.]

[Hint: The player has met the Level 35 level-up condition. Do you want to level up?]

[Hint: The player’s level has increased to Level 35. Due to the player’s talent skill, the player has obtained an additional 908 zombie clones.]

[Hint: Current number of zombie clones: 5444].

[Hint: Player Level 36 level-up requirement: Tier 1 mutant crystal x50000, Tier 2 mutant crystal x100].

Finally! He had leveled up!

After a few days of hard work, he finally reached Level 35!

It hadn’t been easy.

Fang Heng looked around.

The zombie clones crawled out of the ground and slowly walked behind him.

The zombie clone talent was now extremely powerful in all early, middle, and late stages after it had been strengthened several times.

As he leveled up, he could now gain nearly 1000 zombie clones for every level up!

The newly-born zombie clones occupied a large area on the shallow lakeside.

These zombie clones could bring him more basic development speed and leveling speed.

Once he had collected enough King of Gods’ points, they could transform into even more powerful battle forms.

Fang Heng glanced at the game hints again.

Starting from Level 36, leveling up required Tier 2 mutant crystals.

This was troublesome.

Currently, there was no way to obtain Tier 2 mutant crystals.

Fang Heng looked at Lu Yanlong who was resting at the side and asked, “Brother, do you know how to obtain Tier 2 mutant crystals?”
