Chapter 821 – Chapter 811: The Abyss

“Let’s try it first.”Dudian took out the insect powder from his backpack. He then lured a zombie from the vicinity to be enslaved by Aisha. He sprinkled the insect powder on the zombie’s body and let it enter the forest of despair.

The zombie seemed to respond to the smell of the insect powder. However, Aisha was able to intimidate it so it obediently went into the forest.

After entering the forest, Dean let Aisha control the undead to wreak havoc in the forest.

Whoosh!

After destroying a few trees, the sand suddenly jumped up and wrapped the undead. It was pulled into the depths of the soil and quickly decomposed it.

“The insect powder really doesn’t work.”Dean wasn’t too disappointed to see the result. The insect powder was everywhere on the border. The ancestors of the winged family didn’t lack it either. However, they weren’t able to explore the forest. He knew that this thing wouldn’t work, he was still holding on to a glimmer of hope.

He took out a small box from his backpack. There was a piece of the remains of the goddess in the box. He took the sealed box and lured another undead from the vicinity. He opened the sealed box, he took out a thumb-sized piece of thin meat and put it into the hollow bone pit on the back of the undead’s neck. He commanded it to go to the forest.

After the thin piece of meat came out, the air was filled with a rotten stench. The smell was so strong that even the rotten smell and blood smell of the undead were completely covered.

Dudian stared at it.

Soon, he found the difference. The undead hadn’t come close to the forest yet. The trees in the forest suddenly wriggled like living things. They wriggled into the soil and went down, they actually shrank into the darkness deep underground.

Dudian was surprised by this scene. He didn’t expect that a small piece of flesh from the goddess would have such a magical effect.

Every step the undeads took, there would be pieces of trees that shrank into the sand. It looked extremely shocking.

The dark forest seemed to be purified. Large pieces of trees shrank into the sand, leaving only the bare dark ground.

The other trees in the distance were squirming uneasily. It seemed that they were hesitating whether to escape into the sand or not. But as the undeads approached, more and more trees shrank into the ground.

Dudian was shocked. He was shocked by the effect of the corpse of the goddess. He was also shocked by the ‘forest’. All the trees that he had seen before could move! Was this a plant? Or was this a group of monsters disguised as plants? Or was this not a ‘group’but a single one?

He had imagined the scene of the abyss countless times but he didn’t expect that he would be deeply shocked before he stepped into it. It was as if an unknown and dangerous door was slowly opening in front of him.

After a moment, he slowly came back to his senses. He looked at the semi-circular arcs of trees that had disappeared in the middle of the forest. He slowly raised his feet and followed behind the undeads.

He prayed in his heart that this strange forest didn’t have a high IQ. If he deliberately lured him in, then he would die.

The trees within a radius of 500 meters of the undeads were all shrunk into the sand. As the undeads continued to move forward, the forest slowly opened up a bare road. After going seven or eight miles deep, Dudian looked back, he found that there were black plants coming out from far behind. They were still in the same state as before. The wind couldn’t blow. The twisted tree trunks were like monsters, they looked at him ferociously.

Dudian retracted his eyes and let the undeads quicken their pace.

Ten Miles, twenty miles, thirty miles..

Dudian calculated the distance under his feet as he walked. He walked for more than forty miles before he saw the faint light from the trees in front of the forest. It didn’t take long for the trees at the end of the forest to shrink into the soil, a vast plain was revealed. There were scattered trees and a lake on the plain. The lake was as calm as a mirror and reflected the blue sky.

Dudian was relieved as he finally walked out.

He was the first one to walk out of the Forest of despair which no one had ever been able to return to. All the credit was due to the pieces of meat on the corpse of the goddess.

Dudian made the undeads stop and put on plastic gloves. He cut off the pieces of meat from the back of the undeads’neck and sealed them into boxes. He had stepped into the Abyss and could meet a terrifying existence who was interested in the corpse of the goddess at any time, the meat from the corpse of the Goddess was a double-edged sword. If it was not used well, it would die without a burial place.

Although the meat had been cut off, the neck of the undeads still had a strong smell. Dudian made it continue to open the way. He noticed the lake on the plain. According to the knowledge he had learned as a scavenger.., where there is water, there will be beasts.

Such a simple principle was suitable for the low-level hunter area and the terrifying Abyss area.

Dudian’s eyes entered the perspective state. He looked at the lake and found that the lake was dark and deep. There was a faint red light at the bottom of the lake. He was shocked. The red light was the heat source reaction, although the heat was faint and the density was low. It was similar to ordinary cattle and sheep. But the area of the lake was frighteningly large. From thousands of meters away he felt that the diameter of the lake was about fifty meters. The specific size of the lake might be more terrifying.

What made Dudian scared was that there was no other heat source reaction in the lake. It seemed that there was only one creature.

Dudian didn’t dare to go near. He controlled the undeads to go around the lake.

The creatures in the lake didn’t seem to notice Dudian.

Dudian went around the lake for thousands of meters. He saw a place that led to the lake. There were several huge footprints on the ground. He stood in the pit of the footprints, it felt like he was standing alone in a square.

Dudian’s face was ugly as he slowly walked. He held his breath and suppressed the heat reaction in his body. He regretted that he had taken the risk to cross the abyss. However he quickly extinguished the intention to retreat.

After going around the lake, Dudian walked along the plain for more than ten miles. He saw a huge skeleton. It looked like a rhinoceros. The body seemed to have died not long ago. It was emitting a strong smell of revenge. Its flesh and blood were gnawed, however, the thing that killed it didn’t seem to have a big appetite. It didn’t eat its body completely. Dudian used x-ray vision to take a look and found that its internal organs were all gone. Its body was empty.

Dudian took Aisha and quickly left the place. He didn’t want to attract other monsters to bump into him.

After walking for less than five or six miles, Dudian met a rock-scaled python that was entrenched in the grass of the plain. The Python’s body was 20 meters long. Its body was thicker than a water tank. Its scales were extremely tough, it could exert dozens of tons of strangling power when it was entangled with its prey.

“It’s A Level 102 existence, the No. 1 overlord of the Red Wasteland Region. It’s close to the power of a ruler.”Dudian narrowed his eyes. He didn’t run away. The more it ran, the more it would chase after him. He let go of Aisha, he entered the demon body state and quickly rushed forward.
