Chapter 870 – Chapter 860: Counter-Chase

Batiste hadn’t fought with Dudian yet. He didn’t even hurt a hair on his body but he felt extremely humiliated.

He clenched his teeth. The anger in his heart made him want to roar. But he held back this time. He didn’t want Dudian to take advantage of his roar to hide his voice, he couldn’t be fooled again!

He controlled himself to calm down. His anger turned into murderous intent. He looked at every inch of the soil. He checked every leaf and weed on the ground. He was looking for Dudian’s footprints, and the smell.

However, he checked again and again. There was no trace of Dudian’s footprints near the stone. He suddenly understood that Dudian or the king of corpses had the ability to fly!

Looking at the vast night sky, Baptiste took off into the air. His fists were clenched and his eyes were gloomy. He knew that it would be very difficult to find Dudian again.

He thought of the Abyss, but he was deceived and even humiliated by a ruler. The hatred in his heart almost swallowed the whole hill under his feet. He suppressed his anger and continued to search in the vicinity.

Dudian slowly moved forward in the forest. It was very difficult for him to move because he had hidden himself and Aisha in the body of a python. The Python was not dead but it was not far from death.

He believed that as long as the person did not have the ability to sense the smell and heat source, they would not be able to detect him. After all, he had covered up the smell before entering the python, although it wasn’t completely covered up, but now with the Python to cover up, even people with extremely sensitive sense of smell would find it difficult to detect him! Moreover, he could use the Python’s heat source to cover up the weak heat emitted from his body.

Dudian knew that the second warning he had set up had worked. He didn’t stop but continued to squirm. He maintained the snake’s wriggling posture and squirmed very slowly, he used his X-ray vision to penetrate the body of the giant python. He saw the figure of the abyss. The Abyss was scanning the ground as it flew but didn’t seem to notice anything unusual about the giant python.

The body of the giant python couldn’t even squeeze out the outline of a human after swallowing two people.

Dudian stopped for a moment and continued to move forward.

Ten minutes later, Dudian saw the abyss fly back and disappear into the distance.

He didn’t drill out of the mouth of the snake but continued to control the giant python to move forward. Half an hour later, he saw the Abyss Pass by again. However this time it didn’t come from above his head but flew over the left side of the forest, he rushed into the distance.

Dudian wryly smiled in his heart. It seemed that the Abyss was angry because of his words. It was obvious that there was no clue but it didn’t want to give up. It wasn’t afraid that it would attract other monsters.

He stayed in the body of the dying Python. He coiled around the tree and quietly waited.

Dudian saw the Abyss return and fly away. He ignored it and controlled the Python to swim to another tree. He waited for the night to pass.

This time the Abyss didn’t appear and seemed to give up. Dudian still didn’t come out of the Python’s body. He controlled the Python to swim a distance from time to time and stayed in the sticky Python’s body for a long time, his body was used to it. The night had passed and Dawn appeared on the horizon as if it was hope.

Dudian suddenly understood something when he saw the ray of sunlight. The gods and beliefs that all living beings sought were like this ray of light. No matter how dark the night was, it could be torn apart and bring hope to the people who were struggling in the darkness, bring light.

“Unfortunately, it will not appear at night. This is the rule of the universe and the rule of life…”Dudian looked at the warm dawn. He sighed in his heart. Hope was beautiful. He never denied it but it was a pity.., hope always came too late. The saddest thing was that hope would never come early because early hope would only bring greater despair.

Just like the dawn that came early, it lengthened the day and affected many factors, which would instead cause the collapse of the biological chain. All of this was ultimately the rule of creation.

The only thing that could be changed was to become a king in that long night.

He thought sentimentally and quickly put away his thoughts. The Day had arrived, and it was time for him to get down to business.

“From last night’s situation, the Abyss is good at hiding and tracking. I don’t know if it was for hunting or other purposes. The majority of the beasts are pioneers and there isn’t even a master. It is too low for the abyss to hunt such monsters. I don’t know if he is bluffing or if there is an abyss that matches his strength. Logically speaking, this shouldn’t be the Kingdom of God…”

After a night of escape and a long wait in the giant python, Dudian thought of many things. It had been ten years since the Lord of Aristotle had gone to the Kingdom of God. It was clear that the road to the Kingdom of God was very long, although it was impossible to spend all of the ten years on the road but it wouldn’t be so close. After all, it wasn’t a long time for him to come out from the giant wall.

It could be determined that the Kingdom of God wasn’t nearby. The Abyss was either an existence of other giant walls or a survivor of the abyss like Amelia.

Dudian felt a headache. Most of the time he felt that information was more important than combat power. He didn’t know what was happening in the other giant walls. He only knew that the lord of the giant wall was an abyss, were there any other abyss in the other giant walls?

Dudian felt that the strength of each giant wall should be uneven. At least the giant wall where the group of nine was located was stronger than the giant wall of Sylvia. After all.., they were able to send nine strong experts to cross the Abyss to find Sylvia and almost kill all of them. This was something that Sylvia couldn’t do.

If the Abyss came from the other giant wall then Dudian would be able to deal with it. But if the others came from the survivors of the Abyss then it would be troublesome. After all, the giant wall was an “Official force”under the control of the Kingdom of God, although he didn’t know the strength of the giant wall. Maybe there were two or three masters of the Abyss. But in comparison, the survivors of the Abyss were more terrifying.

After all, he didn’t know what the survivors of the Abyss had in their hands. For example, the Amelia tribe was weak but they had a laser cannon. Moreover, they were living in a super aircraft which was suspected to be an Aragami spaceship, it was much more difficult to understand than the giant wall.

“I should be able to find clues about him from the direction of the beasts that he expelled yesterday.”Dudian thought. No matter which possibility it was, he was going to take the risk to get close to the giant wall, at least it would be good to know the location of the giant wall. It might be useful in the future. If it was the survivors of the abyss, he would need to find a way to kill the person from last night. Then he would need to break into their interior to see if there was a way to treat Aisha.

After making up his mind, Dudian climbed out of the mouth of the Python which was half-dead. He cut its belly and pulled Aisha out. Both of them were in a bit of a mess but they were used to such things in the wilderness.

Dudian took Aisha out of the forest and flew along the plains outside. At the same time, he paid attention to the surroundings in case the abyss was still in the vicinity last night. Although the possibility was very low.

After a moment, Dudian found a path that was trampled full of mud pits. It was the same path that the herd passed last night. There was a monster’s corpse on the ground every distance, the smell of the Abyss from last night was still lingering in the air.

Dudian looked at the direction where the footprints came from. His eyes narrowed as he quietly followed Aisha.
