Chapter 2262: The Tenth Small Immortal Realm

“My master, we shall excuse ourselves first. Just contact me once you made up your mind,” Moxie, Demon Emperor Wutian, and the others rose to their feet and bowed at Qin Nan calmly without showing any sign of discontentment.

“Sure, thanks for your help.”

Qin Nan brought his fists together as Moxie and the others left.

“I’ll visit other formidable factions and discuss how we will utilize the Orbs of the Heavenly Emperor,” Empress Feiyue said.

She vanished before Qin Nan had a chance to say anything. She left the orb spirit in the hall instead of taking it away.

“Qin Nan, we’ll refine the orb spirit and the Orb of the Heavenly Emperor first.”

Progenitor Mingchu suggested with a gesture. Qin Nan nodded and unleashed flames by flicking his finger.

The rest immediately unleashed the Power of Rules.

The orb spirit seemed to have retained some of its will. It struggled fiercely when it realized something was happening, but it did not make any difference.

It was completely refined after a hundred breaths.

Qin Nan immediately sensed a mystical feeling in him, like he had become a part of the orb spirit.

Qin Nan and the others proceeded to refine the Orb of the Heavenly Emperor too.

The process took them an hour. Mystical runes appeared around them after they were done.

If they were to observe carefully, they would notice the runes were incomplete. They had to combine them all into one.

It was the problem of refining the Orb of the Heavenly Emperor in a group. They would all have to be present to fully utilize the power of the Orb of the Heavenly Emperor.

They would not be able to unleash half of the Orb of the Heavenly Emperor’s power if one of them was not around.

“Fellow cultivators, this might sound unpleasant, but it’s likely that some of us would fall one day knowing how messy the situation is now. You must remember to give up on the power of the Orb of the Heavenly Emperor and its spirit before you die to let others claim it.”

“I’ve learned from some ancient records that if the bearers forfeit the power voluntarily, it will return to the others who have refined the Orb of the Heavenly Emperor and the orb spirit,” Progenitor Linghuang said sternly.

He added when he saw the nod on Qin Nan and the others’ heads, “Let’s try it out now.”

Everyone immediately closed their eyes to feel the mystical power of the Orb of the Heavenly Emperor. They subconsciously performed a series of seals.

The runes around them shattered rapidly into tiny light dots.

Some time later, their eyes sprang open as they shoved the seals forward.

Light rays flew into the air and combined into a pattern consisting of thirty-three illusionary figures. The tenth figure, in particular, was emitting a blue light unlike the others.

Cang had refined thirty-three Orbs of the Heavenly Emperor in the past, each corresponding to a Small Immortal Realm. The tenth figure was corresponding to the Tenth Small Immortal Realm.

“It looks like we are in luck!” Progenitor Mingchu fondled his beard.

Every Small Immortal Realm was different.

The latter the Small Immortal Realms, the weaker the primordial rules, origin force, and fortunate encounters they possessed.

It was also the reason why the epic battle in the past almost destroyed thirty-two of the Small Immortal Realms.

The group left the hall and arrived in the Tenth Immortal Realm after three hours.

The Small Immortal Realm did not have any formidable faction. It only had a Ruler of Dao living in seclusion and a few ancient tribes and small factions, saving Qin Nan and his crew a lot of trouble.

Qin Nan and his men soon reached the deep region of an ancient forbidden land. Normal Masters of Dao might be in danger in it.

Qin Nan exchanged glances with his men before he performed a hand seal.

Buzz!

The whole Orb of the Heavenly Emperor shuddered and glowed vigorously. A few moments later, its light dug into the ground like enormous snakes and spread into the surroundings.

The aura of the Orb of the Heavenly Emperor grew swiftly too. It soon reached an astonishing level in the blink of an eye, causing the ancient existence and the beasts in the forbidden land to feel uneasy.

Qin Nan and the others were astounded. They quickly went inside the orb.

The world in the orb had twisted darkness devouring the sky, with terrifying wind, fire, and lightning bursting out of it occasionally.

Brilliant rays suddenly descended from the darkness and brought tremendous changes across the barren land. Countless rare plants grew on it with trees emerging from the ground and rivers forming on their own.

“The origin force is indeed incredible. Just a small amount of it is enough to nurture life!” Progenitor Shuangdao exclaimed.

He once tried to claim the origin force too, but it was far too difficult to even communicate with it, let alone obtaining it.

“Everyone, we are now the spirits of this Orb of the Heavenly Emperor. We just need to communicate with it together and absorb its origin force!” Progenitor Linghuang said. He sat below the dark vortex.

Qin Nan and the others followed. They calmed their thoughts and synchronized with the Orb of the Heavenly Emperor.

They stayed in the same posture for five days until a soft buzz echoed in their minds as if some chains had been broken.

The scene before them changed completely.

The world inside the Orb of the Heavenly Emperor, the forbidden land they went to, and the Tenth Small Immortal Realm were all gone. They were replaced by a boundless mysterious dark space.

At the center of it was a pure entity of light over a hundred thousand li long and a few tens of thousand li wide. It was like the greatest immortal jade in the world without any sign of impurity.

It was the origin force of the Tenth Small Immortal Realm!

It was nurturing the primordial rules, the land, the barrier, and the living creatures of the Tenth Small Immortal Realm. It was the source of everything that was not created by cultivators.
