3116 Semi-Divine Medicine Refiner

Feng Wu frowned. “One mine? I don’t think that’s enough.”

Elder Helian was almost in tears. He wanted to grab her arm and tell her it was enough. One mine would be more than enough.

Meanwhile, Lord Dai stepped out. “Elder Dongfang, how can we give a mine away? That doesn’t sound appropriate.”

Elder Dongfang ignored them and only stared at Feng Wu. “One mine. If you accept it, I’ll give it to you. If not, just let Dongfang Zi Ling die. After that, the Military Academy will bear Imperial College an irreconcilable grudge, and my sect won’t stop until the Feng family is destroyed!”

Feng Wu smiled at her. “Are you threatening me now?”

Elder Dongfang said calmly, “No, I’m begging you.”

Elder Helian tugged at Feng Wu’s sleeve and whispered, “Kiddo, you should take the offer while you can. Dongfang can’t give us two mines. Her school will kill her for that.”

If the Military Academy fired Elder Dongfang for that, the Imperial College wouldn’t get anything.

After all, the mines weren’t Elder Dongfang’s personal property.

Feng Wu felt a little sorry, but one mine was already a sweet deal.

She said, “Fine. One mine, then. Elder Helian, you should seal the deal now.”

Elder Dongfang stared at her. “Save my niece first.”

Feng Wu said, “I’ll do it while you hand over the mine.”

She would be doing it for nothing if Elder Dongfang went back on her word after Dongfang Ziyun was saved.

Elder Dongfang was furious, but when she saw that Dongfang Ziyun was barely breathing, she had no choice but to seal the deal now.

Lord Dai tried to intervene, but he didn’t say anything in the end when he saw the state Dongfang Ziyun was in.

He knew that if he opposed the idea and Dongfang Ziyun died, Elder Dongfang would blame everything on him, and he didn’t want to take that responsibility.

Therefore, Lord Dai gestured at a guard to sneak out and deliver the message to the other elders.

The elders were the most frequent users of the mines; only a handful of the most outstanding graduates could cultivate there.

Feng Wu walked up to Dongfang Ziyun.

Zhu Hongyu glared at Feng Wu, but Feng Wu didn’t even look at him.

She took out an ointment and asked Zhu Hongyu to put it on the wound on Dongfang’s neck.

Once that was done, Zhu Hongyu asked, “What’s next?”

Feng Wu asked, “What do you mean?”

Zhu Hongyu frowned. “How should we treat her next?”

Feng Wu glanced at Elder Dongfang and saw that she was still in the middle of sealing the deal, so she sat down and said indifferently, “Just wait.”

Zhu Hongyu said angrily, “Is that how a Semi-Divine medicine refiner should behave? Don’t you know the importance of saving lives?”

Feng Wu glanced at him. “I see you know I’m a Semi-Divine medicine refiner.”

Zhu Hongyu was speechless.
