Chapter 3709 You Guys are My Best Birthday Present 9

“Haha, you’re bluffing…” Han Yueyao was delighted by Su Yu’s joke.

Just like that, everyone continued to sit in the main hall.

Lu Yan had picked up the fainted Nie Lingxuan on her way back. Of course, Lu Yan was curious why Nie Lingxuan fainted.

Since she was afraid of being late for dumplings, she had brought Nie Lingxuan back to the cockpit. She stuffed Nie Lingxuan in the resting area in the cockpit. Although there wasn’t much space there, it was quiet.

“Should we?” Qin Chu frowned slightly.

“She won’t wake up any time soon. We don’t have to worry.”

“Why did you bring her back?”

Qin Chu didn’t want anyone to know that the Professor and Lu Yan were here.

“She’s worth experimenting on.”

“Experimenting?” Qin Chu frowned.

“Yeah… I’ll explain once I finish my dumplings, okay?”

Qin Chu: “…”

Then, Lu Yan threw her in the cockpit.

Huo Mian had started to boil the dumplings.

The twins were beside Huo Mian and the Professor. The Professor had taken off his leather mask and they were dancing happily around.

“Grandpa, why didn’t you tell us you were coming…” Little Bean seemed to be criticizing the Professor.

“If I told you beforehand, then it wouldn’t be a surprise,” the Professor said and picked up the chubby Little Bean.

“Grandpa, it’s good to see you,” Pudding said with delight.

“You two seem to have grown a bit taller…”

The Professor was like an ordinary grandparent in front of the twins. He carefully observed them and his eyes were filled with love.

“Oh, the two little ones are here…”

Lu Yan felt like her heart was going to melt when she saw the twins. She thought she wouldn’t be able to see them this time due to the short time frame.

Jack, however, had given the twins two bears during the clown performance. There was indeed something in the bears.

The Professor had deactivated the bombs in the toy bears immediately.

Then he took advantage of spare time to spend with his grandchildren.

When the twins heard Lu Yan’s voice, their faces lit up.

Lu Yan then took off the face mask and her delicate facial features were now visible.

“Auntie…”

“Wow, the surprises come altogether…”

Little Bean and Pudding rushed over and hugged Lu Yan’s legs.

“See, this is what leg hugging is…” Huo Mian exclaimed to Qin Chu.

Qin Chu smiled. He didn’t say anything but quietly helped Huo Mian tidy up the mess she made from making dumplings.

It was rather rare and special to have such a warm moment in the cockpit despite the dangers lurking in the background.

“Auntie, you’re back. That’s great…”

“Auntie, I miss you.”

“Auntie, you look so cute in the sailor suit.”

“Auntie, you’re prettier than before…”

“Auntie, why don’t you call me?”

“Auntie, why did you sneak off last time?”

The twins immediately became chatterboxes. Even Pudding, who wasn’t as a kiss-ass like Little Bean, turned into a second Little Bean.

They showered Lu Yan with praises.

Then the twins exclaimed how much they missed Lu Yan.

“Why are you two asking so many questions all at once? Which one should I answer?” Lu Yan smiled.

“Answer them one by one. We know Auntie is smart,” Little Bean pouted.

“I can answer them, but can I eat first? I just fought and I’m hungry…”

Then, Lu Yan looked up and asked Huo Mian, “Sis, are the dumplings ready?”
