She only took a glance before she went back to her work.

She got down from the small stool, stood on her tiptoes, and took the salt on the other side of the table. Then she went back to the pot and stepped on the small stool.

Xue Sifu, Liu Guixia, Li Hehua, and Yu Hongyan all came over.

Xue Yifu, who was making a pot under another shed, laughed foolishly.

“Xue Yan, are you feeling hot?” Li Hehua quickly asked. “I’ll do it.” With that, she placed him aside and started handling the fire, not caring if he was hot or not.
