480 Feeling Pain Somewhere

Jiang Yue ignored him, but he didn’t seem to be lying. It might really be a coincidence.

However, this was too much of a coincidence.

Why did he look exactly like one of her deputy commanders, but he had the same name as her other deputy commander… Was there really such a coincidence in this world?

Although Jiang Yue felt that it might be a coincidence, she did not believe that it was.

Seeing that this person knew nothing, she couldn’t get anything out of him even if she asked, so she didn’t ask any further.

However, she noticed that Shao Shuting’s right waist was bleeding non-stop because he was squatting. His clothes were not torn, and it was obvious that he had been injured before fighting with the two people who were dressed like fishermen.

Shao Shuting saw that she was looking down at his waist, so he also looked down. He didn’t feel anything when he saw this. He just leaned against the wall of the alley and sat down slowly. “No wonder I felt pain. It wasn’t talking to you that’s for sure now.”

Jiang Yue was speechless.

“I don’t think I can make it.” Shao Shuting clutched his injured waist and leaned against the wall, but he looked at her with a smile.

Jiang Yue saw that he was still in good spirits and did not seem to be in any trouble. However, two people had died and there were people walking away from the alley at any time. It was not a good place to stay for long, so she wanted to return to her stall.

However, she had only taken a few steps when she heard the sound of something falling behind her. She turned around subconsciously and saw that Shao Shuting had already fallen to the ground unconscious. His face was completely pale.

This person killed others without even blinking. He was obviously not an ordinary person. It was likely that it would be troublesome to save him, so it was better to leave him here.

However, this person looked exactly the same as her deputy commander, and had the same name as her other deputy commander. No matter how she thought about it, she still did not think that there was such a coincidence…

‘I can’t let him die like this.’

Jiang Yue returned to Shao Shuting’s side.

She checked his breathing. He was still breathing, but he had fainted.

She picked up Shao Shuting’s sword with one hand and tried to drag him with her other hand.

She had no choice. Shao Shuting was so tall, and she was so small. Moreover, Shao Shuting was unconscious, so she couldn’t help him even if she wanted to.

She could only delay the pain.

However, as soon as she touched it, something fell out of Shao Shuting’s arms.

Jiang Yue was taken aback. She picked it up and saw that it was something that looked like a tag. It was a little bigger than her small palm, but it looked like half a tiger. Yes, it was half a tiger cast in copper. There were some complicated patterns on it, but she could not tell what they were.

Why did it look so much like the tiger mentioned in the ancient book?

Jiang Yue couldn’t help but look at Shao Shuting and the little thing in her hand. She put it in her arms and kept it for Shao Shuting. She would return it to him when he woke up.

She could also show it to Xue Yan when she went back. Xue Yan must have been in a high position in his previous life, so he would definitely know whether this thing was a tiger tally for mobilizing troops.

There were too many people at the entrance of the alley. If she dragged him out right now, it would be too eye-catching, so she could only go from the end of the alley.

Jiang Yue single-handedly dragged Shao Shuting to the end of the alley and hid him and the sword in a rather hidden corner before returning to her stall.

The others were too busy to notice that she had left for a while. Xue Yan, on the other hand, looked at her as soon as she came back, obviously knowing when she had left the stall.

Xue Yan was squatting in front of a wooden basin and washing the tomatoes when she came back.
