Chapter 197: A Way To Test The Little Monsters’ Health

The problem with the milk tea shop gave Su Yang a headache. Pool remained an unregistered citizen and did not have a health certificate while his youthful appearance really looked like he was underaged.

If the landlord really lodged a report, the milk tea shop might be forced to shut down.

If it had been a normal milk tea shop, Su Yang would not have minded because he could simply solve the problem by hiring someone to take care of the place, but “Try Everything” was not a normal milk tea shop.

In order to cut costs, the little monsters ran the shop by themselves and they got the milk tea from the [Master Sommelier Faucet], so no outsiders were allowed in the back.

Pool and Sanque noticed the gloomy looked on Su Yang’s face. They exchanged a gaze before they sighed and kept quiet. The living room suddenly plunged into silence.

A long while later, Su Yang said, “I’ll go talk to the landlord tomorrow and find out what he wants. If his demands aren’t too harsh, I can bluff him with my [Verbal Canon] ability, so it shouldn’t be a problem.

“As for your registration and ID card, I think I’ll have to move them up the schedule. After you get the IDs and stuff, you will need to go perform a health inspection for the health certificate.”

“Lord Su Yang, I’m not human. Will I even get through the health inspection?” Pool replied in a worried tone.

Pool’s words caught Su Yang by surprise. He never really thought about the problem because Pool looked so human and he assumed that Pool was a real human from the start.

‘Now that he’s mentioned it, that might happen…’

With that in mind, Su Yang said, “Okay, why don’t you give me a vial of your blood? I’ll ask a friend to test it first.”

He then told Deeny, “Deeny, I need you and the others to give me a vial of your blood too. I’ll send them for testing together so that I can have a reference.”

“Okay, Master,” said Deeny.

As for the blood drawing tools, they had the sticky notes which had become the almighty tool in the house.

No wok for cooking? Sticky note.

No oven for egg tart? Sticky note.

Want to watch a 3D movie? Sticky note.

The sticky notes were able to solve almost everything.

Soon, several vials of blood were placed before Su Yang. Deeny attentively labeled them one by one: Su Ci, Su Di, Su Ji, and Janet.

‘Janet? What the hell?’

Su Yang looked at Deeny who stuck her tongue out awkwardly. “Little Hus doesn’t have blood, so he told his wife to take his place.”

“Nonsense! They haven’t even started dating and that doggy b*stard is calling that shark his wife? Did he ask my permission as a parent? Does that shark want to swim into my house without my permission? NO WAY!”

Deeny was speechless. ‘Master, I think you are missing the point here…’

Su Yang sent a message to Li Runze: [Do you know any reliable friends from the Faculty of Medical Science?]

Li Runze answered: [No.]

‘Okay…simple and easy.’

Su Yang then asked around in his chat group filled with straight-A students, and surprisingly, no one had any connections to the Faculty of Medical Science.

‘Hmm. Strange, aren’t there any straight-A students from that faculty? What now? Do I have to catch the students from the Faculty of Medical Science and question them one by one to find out who is a straight-A student?’

With no options left, Su Yang posted on his Friend Circle: [Does anyone have any connections to the Faculty of Medical Science?]

Biology and chemistry students could actually test the blood, but he believed that the students from the medical science could do a better job.

After all, medical science students studied the human body, and even if they found out the blood was not from humans, Su Yang could simply brush them off by saying the blood belonged to his dog or whatever.

However, students from biology might start to research what kind of blood they were testing.

A while later, a surprising person commented on Su Yang’s status: [Mr. Su Yang, I’m a student from the Faculty of Medical Science.]

The person who commented was none other than Li Xianhe.

Su Yang was shocked.

‘What? He’s studying medical science?!’

Su Yang was stunned for quite a while before he remembered Li Xianhe had told him that he was from Shanghai Jiaotong University.

The Faculty of Medical Science of Shanghai Jiaotong University was near Shanghai University, and Li Xianhe had come to Su Yang’s campus because of the campus singing competition, which had been co-hosted by Shanghai University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, and East China University of Science and Technology.

‘Now, I see.’ Although Su Yang learned what Li Xianhe’s major was, he felt strange.

‘A bearded 190 cm tall hunk that looks like a mobster studies medical science…Hmm, I guess it’s acceptable after knowing his true nature off-stage. He is the embodiment of conflict after all. *And he even signed a recording company and is preparing for his major debut? Unimaginable…*Anyhow, since I have someone that I know, things will be easier.’

Su Yang replied: [Mr. Li, do you have any friends that can run tests?]

[What tests?]

Su Yang answered: [Blood tests and all sorts of stuff.]

Li Xianhe typed: [Oh, I see. Normal blood tests? But our faculty doesn’t have the machine.]

‘Hmm? Machine?’ Su Yang’s eyes gleamed.

[Machine? Do you mean the test is fully automated and the machine will show the results directly?]

After a while Li Xianhe’s reply came in: [Yes, it’s fully automated. The machine is called a fully-automated flow cytometry machine a.k.a. a blood analyzer.]

As though Su Yang hit the jackpot, he replied happily: [THANKS!]

After he got the name of the machine, Su Yang told Deeny to do some research about the machine and how to use it. He also told her to research other health equipment and see what their names were and how to use them.

Su Yang decided to run the blood test at home!

Even if he passed the blood to someone that he trusted for testing outside, it was not safe. He would have to do it himself to prevent leaking his secret.

As long as Pool’s vitals were similar to a human being, the health certificate should not be a problem, and after Su Yang fixed Pool’s registration, everything would be fine.

Su Yang temporarily discarded the worries about the health certificate. He walked to the swimming pool and saw Pool sitting beside it with his legs soaking in the water. Janet was swimming in the water, but she did not seem to attack him.

Pool was not worried either. He gazed into the void and was spacing out.

Su Yang walked over and sat down like Pool. Just when he decided to put his legs in the water, he hesitated because he thought that he should not waste Sanque’s arm like this, so he sat with his legs crossed.

Janet stared at him for a while before swimming away.

There were many other aquatic creatures in the swimming pool since Su Yang’s last visit. There were seahorses, squids, corals, and sea turtles but no fishes.

‘Maybe Janet ate all the fishes.’

Su Yang looked at Pool. “Still worrying?”

Pool squeezed a smile on his face, “Yes, Lord Su Yang.”

Su Yang said, “It’s going to be fine. I’ll deal with it. Take it easy.” He tapped Pool’s shoulder and added, “We are entrepreneurs, so it’s normal for us to go through a roller coaster ride as we will run into problems.”

Pool nodded. “But I have never run into problems before.”

Su Yang smiled. It was normal for Pool not to have run into problems before this because he was practically only a month plus old.

Su Yang said, “Stop overthinking. Even if the sky falls down, I’ll be there to help. I’m the biggest shareholder after all.”

Pool then showed him a sincere smile because what Su Yang said was the truth.

After that, Su Yang said, “Come on. I’ll add a second point to you. Everyone else has already got their second point. You are the only one left.”

Pool nodded and finally cheered up.
