Chapter 561: Triggering Platinum Road To Zenith

After settling Sun Hao, the feud between him and Su Yang came to an end, now that Sun Hao was going to pay the just price for his actions. Also, Su Yang had proven that he was not an easy target.

‘Now, on to my next target, the Fengs!

‘Because of this, I have asked Little Hus, Janet and Pan Zhaodi to drive around Shanghai to look for the special item that I want, which has been three days!

‘Yeap… Still remains to be found.

‘However, now that I have the high ground, I’ll be patient and wait a little longer.

‘After all, I’m the one who has thrown sh*t right back at them, I’m also the one who gave Sun Hao the killing blow. So, the Fengs should be the ones who should be worried, not me.’

In fact, Su Yang had some understanding of the discussions that were going around in the industry. Ever since Su Yang turned the situation around, Young Master Ying would chat with Su Yang from time to time to listen to gossip. At the same time… Su Yang would pretend to have misspoke and leak out some information.

‘Young Master Ying’s EQ is truly outstanding, he’s even able to make me give away favours so comfortably.

‘This is why I have always had a good understanding of the industry’s views on the whole matter. From the start when they thought that I was bound to fail, to the shock they felt later on, followed by their anticipation, down to being disappointed before finally being amazed again.

‘All in all, I managed to make them feel climaxed a few times’.

However, no matter how many miracles Su Yang had created, everyone now knew that Su Yang had gained upper hand despite the Fengs being very strong. Furthermore, he had the Jiangs backing him up, so now that he had won in all aspects, it was time for Su Yang to leave the matter behind him.

If they continued to fight, the Fengs would be driven into a corner. Then, they would no longer be worried about the Jiangs and would launch an all-out attack. If that happens, Su Yang would most likely be annihilated in an instant.

Furthermore, Su Yang now had the Jiangs backing him up. The Jiangs would not want Su Yang to continue fighting. For the past twenty years, unless the major forces in the country encountered a serious problem, there was no tradition of fighting to the death.

Therefore, after some consideration, everyone who had been paying attention to the matter came to the conclusion that Su Yang had won and that it was over and they could now leave after packing up their stools and their melon seeds.

Their thoughts were actually beneficial to Su Yang. ‘Since people’s habitual thinking makes them think this way, the Fengs might analyze the situation the same as them too. If that’s the case, I’ll have the chance to be able to ambush the Fengs from behind and get rid of them.

‘Destroying the Fengs won’t be an easy task. The Fengs are a family who has Old Master Feng as its core to influence the country with his connections.

‘Some of their direct descendants work in related departments, some in business and some in the investment industry. All in all, they are involved in various industries and networks, causing them to have a huge network of connections.

‘In the face of such a large force, using just public opinion or evidence will be absolutely useless. Putting aside whether it would be blocked off from the whole internet, even if those information were leaked or investigated, the Fengs would only be minorly punished, or they might just find a scapegoat to take the fall.

‘Also, my usual method of killing them off wouldn’t be of much use either, the results would be too bad and they won’t be completely decimated anyway.

‘Furthermore, even if I were to use such methods, I will no longer be able to stay in the country the moment the Fengs regain their senses and I will only be able to hide away in Socot Island. This isn’t something that I can ever accept.

‘Therefore, I decided to find a brand new special item to deal with the Fengs.

‘I’ve placed all my hopes on Little Hus and the rest. As long as they’re able to find the special items that I need, the downfall of the Fengs would become imminent.’

Since Little Hus had not found the special item that Su Yang needed, Su Yang was finally able to take a break whilst two huge battles were happening, which was a very rare occasion.

‘What should I do during my break?’ Su Yang thought for a while and decided to invite Chu Xia along to enjoy the sunny weather in Hawaii.

After deciding on a plan, Su Yang called Chu Xia and asked if she had any classes in the afternoon.

When Chu Xia received Su Yang’s call, she felt a little helpless. “Old Master Su, although you don’t have to attend classes anymore, you can’t just forget your timetable, can you? That’s just too much.”

Su Yang was so thick-skinned that he did not care about Chu Xia’s sarcasm as he said, “Well, I’ve been too busy recently, haven’t I? So, how about it? Are you available now?”

Chu Xia said, “Yes, I am. When have I ever not been available when it’s you who’s looking for me?”

Su Yang replied, “Alright, come to my house then. I’ll bring you out to play.”

Chu Xia replied, “Yes, Old Master Su.”

In the afternoon, Chu Xia arrived at Su Yang’s villa with ease. Under Tang Xiaomi’s curious gaze, Su Yang led Chu Xia into a room, locking Tang Xiaomi outside.

The little girl refused to admit defeat. She angrily leaned against the door, wanting to eavesdrop, but she was then discovered by Old Tungsten, who was twisted into a socket at the top of the corridor.

Old Tungsten said, “What… Are you listening?”

Then, Tang Xiaomi jumped in fright and quickly looked up in the direction of the sound, only to see Old Tungsten hanging at the top of the corridor.

During that period of time, Tang Xiaomi and Su Yang’s little monsters had gotten to know each other. Hence, she got to know Old Tungsten as well. With her cute finger in front of her mouth, she whispered, “Shh… What if the people inside hear you?”

Old Tungsten blinked twice and said, “They have already gone to the virtual space.”

Tang Xiaomi’s eyes widened. “How do you know?”

Old Tungsten replied, “I heard what Little Su and Little Deeny were discussing earlier. Su Yang is planning to bring Ms. Chu Xia to the virtual space for a vacation.”

“A vacation!” Tang Xiaomi’s eyes widened even more. “Su Yang! You heartless person! You didn’t even bring me along for your vacation! Just giving in to your primal senses! I’m so angry!”

Old Tungsten smiled. “A night in spring is worth thousands of gold, to be done with a bow once it is known. When the golden flowers and jade dew meet, they will be victorious. Countless people in the world…”

Tang Xiaomi was confused. “What are you saying?”

Old Tungsten flickered twice. “It’s poetry…”

Tang Xiaomi looked at Old Tungsten suspiciously but did not see anything wrong with it. So she found another topic to talk about. “By the way, why are you in the corridor?”

Old Tungsten said, “It’s too boring in the house, so I asked Su Yang to pull me out… For a walk.”

Tang Xiaomi was speechless.

At the same time, Su Yang brought Chu Xia to the virtual space and Socot Island, which was her first time to explore the mysterious place.

Su Yang happily showed Chu Xia the Little Monster Beans, Fei Fei and two Little Deenys.

Chu Xia, who had never seen so many little monsters and magical abilities before, now had her worldpoint view completely overturned.

Even though she knew that Su Yang had superpowers and she had already witnessed Su Yang’s superpowers before, she was still shocked by the sudden appearance of the little monsters that only existed in legends.

After seeing the little monsters, Su Yang brought Chu Xia to visit Socot Island. They walked through the river, through the forest and climbed the snow mountain, leaving behind Chu Xia’s screams and exclamations. Finally, the two of them arrived at the romantic beach.

Su Yang used his [Unknown Sticky Note] to transform it into a few beach chairs and beach umbrellas. Then, he stood on the beach of Socot Island and guided Chu Xia to lie by the river to have a rest.

As she laid on the beach chair, Chu Xia looked at the sea nearby and the gray fog in the distance. She sighed. “Su Yang… you’ve really changed. I almost feel like I don’t know you anymore.”

Su Yang took a sip of watermelon juice and smiled. “Actually, I’m also about to not know who I am anymore too.”

Chu Xia lifted her body slightly and looked at Su Yang. Su Yang smiled and shook his head without explaining.

‘Even though I’ve shown Tang Xiaomi and Chu Xia my abilities, I still don’t want to reveal the fact that I have the system. This is my most important secret.’

Chu Xia glanced at Su Yang. She knew that Su Yang didn’t want to talk about it, so she didn’t force him. Instead, she asked, “Su Yang, I saw a lot of negative news about you on the Internet. There were even reports that you bribed some related personnel. Have you settled this matter?”

Su Yang nodded. “Don’t worry, it’s over. It’s not a problem anymore.”

Chu Xia nodded and looked at the beach. She said softly, “That’s good. I’ve been worried about you for the past few days. But other than comforting you, I don’t know what else to do. But…” She dragged out her words, her eyes smiling like two rainbows. “I really have prepared my money. So, if you need it, you can take it anytime.”

Su Yang glanced at Chu Xia and was about to say something when Chu Xia continued, “I know that this money may be very little to you, but… It’s always good to have more. Sometimes, you might just be short of two million yuan.”

Su Yang looked at the girl’s serious expression and was stunned for a moment. Then, he smiled and said, “Forget it. You see, if my company really can’t continue operating, you mustn’t lend me your money, just save it up properly. Also, I have to transfer you money anyway.”

Chu Xia asked in surprise, “What for?”

Su Yang said mysteriously, “I’ve got to transfer my assets to you. That way, even if I go bankrupt, I can stay by your side and live off you. Then, we won’t have to worry about starving.”

Chu Xia blushed. She felt that Su Yang was hinting at something…

Just as the atmosphere was getting romantic, Little Deeny whispered into Su Yang’s ear through the bone conduction earpiece, “Little Hus and the rest really can’t find any special items that you need in Shanghai. They’re planning to go to Hangzhou to look for it, but they would like your opinion.”

Su Yang thought about it and nodded. “Sure, let them go. But remember to come back tonight.”

Little Deeny said, “Understood.”

Chu Xia could not hear Little Deeny ‘s voice, so she only saw Su Yang talking to himself. She looked at Su Yang curiously. “Huh? What did you say?”

Su Yang came back to his senses and chuckled. “Oh, oh, I’m fine. Let’s take a walk by the beach?”

Chu Xia exclaimed, “Isn’t this seawater fake?”

Su Yang replied, “Of course not. This is a virtual world that exists in both the phone and the real world.”

Chu Xia’s eyes widened in surprise, and her voice rose several octaves. “An island that exists in reality?”

Su Yang nodded. “That’s right. You find it amazing too, don’t you?”

Chu Xia was a little surprised and asked, “Yes, it’s amazing, but how is that possible?”

Su Yang smiled as he showed her the interaction between reality and virtual reality, allowing Chu Xia to open her eyes once again.

After the demonstration, Su Yang smiled and stretched out his hand to Chu Xia. “Come, step on the seashore.”

The two of them took off their shoes and strolled at the border between the beach and the sea. The seawater rose and touched their feet. It was cool and comfortable. The seawater receded like it had taken away all their worries. It was as if they were the only people in the world…

Like two carefree children, the two of them walked along the beach, chatting and forgetting about the time…

After walking for some time, Chu Xia suddenly looked up at the beach not far away in surprise and said, “Su Yang, what’s that?”

Su Yang followed her finger and saw an injured shark swimming toward the beach surrounded by its own blood. However, that only made it look even more ferocious and domineering.

‘Eh? Why is there an injured shark here?

‘Could it be one of the sharks swimming around Socot Island that Charlie mentioned earlier?’

Just as Su Yang was deep in thought, he heard a beep.

[Platinum Road To Zenith Triggered]

‘[Platinum Road To Zenith]?

‘What the h*ll?’

Su Yang was confused.

‘I’m not prepared at all! How did I suddenly trigger the [Platinum Road To Zenith]?

‘Furthermore, what did I do to trigger this?

‘I’ve… I’ve just taken a vacation in the virtual space with Chu Xia and took a walk, nothing else…

‘Where did this Platinum Mission come from?

‘Could it be this shark?

‘Can a shark trigger a Platinum Mission?

‘Don’t be ridiculous. What kind of shark is this… Could it be Jin Sha…?’
