Chapter 516: Hidden Space Discovered

At that thought, Su Yang wanted to follow Jin Jin, catch her and activate the [Burning Reincarnation Circus].

However, he only took two steps forward before Jin Jin disappeared down the corridor with a swift move.

Su Yang entered and looked at the entire corridor. He was confused. ‘Where did that little cat go?

‘Ever since Little Deeny became +4, the villa has become a castle and its structure has changed greatly.

‘Before leveling up, the first floor was filled with functional rooms such as the living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, swimming pool, gym, two storage rooms and so on. Now, it has been fully expanded. Other than the fact that each room is much bigger now, there’s also a conference room, a private theater and a gaming room.

‘Before the upgrade, the second floor only had a study, master bedroom and a few other bedrooms. But now, there are 7 or 8 more empty rooms that allow other people to move in directly. My original room has now turned into a large family.

‘Furthermore, after the system got upgraded, the third floor that appeared out of thin air is a sky garden with flowers, trees, a balcony and a swing. It’s very beautiful.

‘Occasionally, Little Deeny and myself would sit on the balcony and watch the courtyard while we had a chat.

‘Little Deeny has always been my little monster with the greatest potential. After more than half a year of studying, she has practically become an encyclopedia with all the knowledge there is in the world.

‘However, it’s exactly because her knowledge mainly comes from the Internet, she may have an adequate understanding of something, but it might be shallow. This has also caused her to only know a little about the various industries, she’s much better at artificial intelligence and programming.

‘However, thanks to her 10 core processors, it’s equivalent to her having 10 brains working simultaneously, allowing me to leave most of my company and my household matters for her to handle.

‘For example, at home, because I have been so busy ever since I added a point onto Little Deeny, I have no idea what’s there on the first floor now. This is why I have no idea where Jin Jin has gone.

‘Therefore, I have no choice but to resort to a silly method, which is to open up each door slightly to peek inside.

‘The first room was the bathroom, no one was using it.

‘The second room was the game room. where Little Hus and Janet are playing with the Switch.

‘Little Hus has got dog fur growing all over its body. It looks like it’s used the [Dog Skin Plaster That Doesn’t Cure Anything].

‘The third room was the conference room, where No. 17 was having a meeting with the other Little Monster Beans?

‘What meeting were they having? Are they trying to rebel against me?’

Su Yang stole a few glances and realized that he could not understand what the Little Monster Beans were talking about, so he left.

Su Yang continued to open all the rooms 1 by 1, but he still could not find Jin Jin.

‘Eh… Where has Jin Jin gone?’

Su Yang, who had searched the entire corridor, had no choice but to ask Little Deeny for help.

A moment later, Little Deeny appeared beside Su Yang. “Master, are you unable to find Jin Jin?”

Su Yang nodded. “That’s right. Where did she go?”

Little Deeny touched the front, and a virtual interface appeared before them.

Little Deeny looked at it for a while, then said, “Eh? Master… Jin Jin has disappeared.”

Su Yang was stunned. “Disappeared?”

Little Deeny nodded. “Yes.”

She waved at Su Yang and said, “Master, follow me.”

Su Yang followed Little Deeny to the end of the corridor. There was nothing unusual at the end of the corridor, it only had a modern artwork hanging on the white wall.

Su Yang sized up the artwork. With his Bronze Ability [Painting Ability], he naturally had his own appraisal ability. He realized that the artwork had an extremely modern style. On the artwork, there were squares of different sizes painted with colorful paint.

There was nothing special about these squares, but when they were put together on a painting, it was quite eye-catching.

Many artists’ paintings’ value was not just about the quality of their paintings, but the color combination, which is left to the imaginations of a person’s definition of beauty. In fact, that painting was obviously of great artistic value.

Just when Su Yang’s “occupational disease” was triggered and he was admiring the artwork, Little Deeny tapped the artwork’s frame 3 times.

Instantly, the art portrait seemed to come alive. All the squares started to spin, combine, and move toward the center.

After a while, the scattered squares on the drawing were put together 1 by 1, looking like a space-time tunnel.

Right at that moment, Su Yang and Little Deeny heard a crisp ‘kacha’ sound. The outermost and largest square suddenly started to rotate slowly to the left.

As it started to spin, the other squares that were surrounded by it also started to spin 1 after another. Some of them rotated clockwise while some rotated counterclockwise.

After a short while, when the last small square was completed, the large square suddenly expanded and swallowed the front wall.

In front of Su Yang and Little Deeny was a black staircase.

Su Yang took a glance at Little Deeny. Little Deeny replied, “This is the place where we left off today.”

Su Yang asked in surprise, “This is a part of the virtual space?”

Little Deeny nodded. “I think so.”

Su Yang asked, “So, you don’t know?”

Embarrassment was written all over Little Deeny’s face too. “I don’t…”

She paused for a moment before explaining, “Even though the virtual space was created because of me, it does not belong to me and is completely independent. If there is someone who has authority over it, it should belong to you, Master. Therefore, it’s only natural that I don’t understand it since I don’t have authority over it.”

Suddenly, a notification popped up in front of Su Yang.

[Ding. Discovered hidden space.]

‘It really is a hidden space…

‘After upgrading the virtual space, there are actually some hidden spaces added?

‘Or… Did it exist before the upgrade? Was it only because I didn’t notice it?’

As Su Yang pondered, he said to Little Deeny, “Let’s go in and take a look.”

The 2 walked down the black staircase and the wall slowly returned to normal behind them.

As he walked down the black staircase, Su Yang realized that there was a platform below him that was wide-open which was surrounded by pitch-black walls with white candles burning on them where Jin Jin was loitering around.

She had returned to her gold leopard form. As she walked, her soft fur shivered like golden threads. Under the candlelight, she looked so beautiful.

She did not realize that Su Yang and Little Deeny were there, so she was placing some things at the corner of the wall.

Su Yang took a look. In the corner of the wall, there were things that looked like gold, coins, glass, small gold nuggets and so on.

Su Yang was confused. ‘Is this little cat a dragon? Why does she have the habit of collecting shiny things?’

Little Deeny looked at it curiously and asked Su Yang softly, “Master, where did Jin Jin find these things come?”

Su Yang replied, “A hen..”

Arriving at the platform, Jin Jin was resting comfortably on top of the items and was having a leisurely nap.

Su Yang walked over and coughed twice.

Jin Jin raised her head abruptly and looked at the 2 of them.

At the same time, her voice rang in Su Yang’s mind. “Jerk! Why are you here?”

Su Yang patted her head. “How rude. Who’s the jerk?”

Jin Jin said, “You are.”

Su Yang decided not to dwell on the topic with the little cat. Then, he asked, “How did you discover this hidden space?”

Jin Jin asked in return, “How did you find out?”

Su Yang replied, “I followed you.”

Jin Jin was speechless.

Looking at Su Yang’s smug expression and Little Deeny’s curious gaze, Jin Jin tilted her head unhappily and refused to look at the 2 of them. “I also discovered this by accident. It’s now being used as my secret base.”

Su Yang asked, “How long has it been?”

Jin Jin replied, “Since yesterday.”

Su Yang nodded. “Alright then. I’ll inform you solemnly that your base has been expropriated.”

Suddenly, Jin Jin raised her head. The female leopard was staring at Su Yang with a face full of grievance.

Su Yang patted her head. “Be good. It’s not like I’m refusing to give you a base. How about this? You go clean up a storeroom on the first floor and make that your secret base.”

Jin Jin roared within his heart, “Can a storeroom be considered a secret base?!”

Su Yang chuckled. “It’s a secret base as long as we don’t go there.”

Jin Jin was speechless.

Seeing that the negotiation had reached an impasse, Su Yang activated his [Verbal Cannon] ability and began ranting boldly. “Jin Jin, your master isn’t an unreasonable person. It’s a good thing that you’ve found a hidden passage for our family. How about this? I’ll allow you to bring 2 Little Monster Beans with you and build a secret base in the virtual space. What do you think?”

Suspicion filled her eyes. After a while, she asked, “Will you provide the materials?”

Su Yang nodded. “Of course. If you have any questions, you can contact Little Deeny. She will provide you with everything you want.”

Jin Jin looked at Little Deeny.

Even though Little Deeny could not hear the telepathic communication between them, she could still hear Su Yang’s conversation. Hence, she could only guess what they were talking about.

Hence, Little Deeny nodded.

Jin Jin felt relaxed. “Alright, I’ll leave the secret base to you then.”

As he said that, she looked at Su Yang warily. Then, she gathered up the pile of shiny things that she had hidden and opened her mouth to eat them all.

Su Yang was shocked. “What are you doing?”

Jin Jin rolled her eyes at him. “Stop making a fuss. I have storage space in my stomach. I can store things inside.”

Su Yang was shocked. He realized that he had gained a lot of knowledge that day. Not only has he discovered a hidden space, he’s also discovered that JIn Jin’s stomach could store things…

Su Yang asked, “How much can your stomach contain?”

After thinking for a while, she said, “About 2 cubic meters.”

‘So it’s based on volume…

‘That means she can store gold, diamonds and other previous items.’

Su Yang immediately came up with a plan for Jin Jin’s stomach.

Not knowing that Su Yang had already set his eyes on her, she looked at the 2 of them. “If there’s nothing else, I’m leaving.”

With that, she started to walk away.

However, before she could even take half a step, Su Yang grabbed her arm. “Don’t go! I was planning to check out the new function of the [Burning Reincarnation Circus].”
