Chapter 517: Dungeon Cell +1, Dungeon Cell +2?

Jin Jin, the female leopard turned around and looked at Su Yang with a puzzled expression.

After a while, she snapped back to her senses and ran!

Leopards are originally fast to begin with, hence Jin JIn was the little monster who was a leopard was even faster. In the blink of an eye, she ran out of the secret room and disappeared…

Su Yang and Little Deeny looked at her running silhouette and blinked at the same time. Then, they looked at each other. ‘What was going on?’

After a while, Little Deeny finally reacted. She let out an “Oh…” and said, “Master, I know the reason now?”

Su Yang looked at her in confusion.

Little Deeny said, “Jin Jin has never liked her kitten form. Instead, she very much prefers her gold leopard form. However, her gold leopard form can only be maintained when her ability is not used. The moment you use [Burning Reincarnation Circus], she will once again return to becoming a black kitten.”

Su Yang instantly came to the realization after hearing what Little Deeny had said.

‘No wonder.

‘Jin Jin, you narcissistic little kitten…’

After instructing Little Deeny to capture Jin Jin, Su Yang made use of the extra time to walk around the hidden space.

‘The structure of the hidden space looks simple, but is actually very complicated.

‘I thought that the hidden space merely consists of a large platform. However, after taking a closer look, that’s far from the truth.

‘Instead of calling this a platform, it’s more like an empty space at the entrance.

‘That’s because on the walls of the platform, there are 6 doors arranged in a fan shape.

‘Each door has a row of wooden boards next to them and on each row of wooden board, there’s a nail which has a key hanging on it.’

Su Yang counted. ‘There are 13 wooden nails in each row. In other words, there are 13 keys in total.

‘Of the 13 keys, 12 of them are black while the first key is red and looks different.

‘What are these keys for? What is the purpose of this place?’

Puzzled, Su Yang turned on the system. There was a system notification on the key, [Dungeon Gate Key] and [Dungeon Cell Key].

‘Eh? This place is a dungeon? There are cells in this dungeon?

‘Is this really a virtual space?’

With that thought in mind, Su Yang took down the first key and opened the first door.

The iron door was opened and there was a creaking sound of the door turning. Inside, there was a gust of rotten smell…

Su Yang pushed the door open. When the smell dissipated, he covered his nose and walked in.

As he entered the dungeon, there were empty cells on both sides. Lines of walls separated the entire dungeon, forming into rooms of cells. There was a metal fence between the cells and the corridor, but there was no keyhole on the fence itself.

Su Yang counted the cells silently as he walked towards the end of the dungeon.

‘There are 12 cells in total.

‘It looks like the number of keys on the wooden nails outside tallies with the number of cells in here.’

Su Yang opened the system to see if there was anything special about it.

Turns out, he realized that the system really did send him a notification.

As he turned on the system, a semi-transparent [+] symbol appeared at the doors of all 12 cells.

It showed [Dungeon Cell: The place where prisoners are kept, with weak defenses. If you want to imprison monsters or special items, please upgrade it as much as you can.]

‘This place can actually imprison monsters and special items?

‘That’s a little surprising.’

Then, he walked through the other 5 dungeon cells and checked the system.

‘This is out of my expectations, these dungeon cells are actually different. The 3 cells in front are just normal dungeon cells, the 2 behind those are +1 cells, while the last cell is actually +2!’

Moreover, on the +2 cell, it also shows. [Dungeon Cell +2: You can imprison weak monsters and special items in here which also prevents them from escaping.]

‘The 6 dungeons and 72 dungeon cells are completely out of my expectations. I never expected that even 1 dungeon cell is able to contain so many tricks up its sleeve…’

After inspecting the entire hidden space, Su Yang returned to the platform and looked around.

Perhaps it was because of his preconceived notions, but when Su Yang looked at the platform again, he felt that it looked like a prison.

Just as he was thinking like that, Little Deeny’s voice suddenly rang in his ears. “Master, we’ve caught Jin Jin. Should we head down to look for you now?”

Su Yang quickly replied, “No need. I’ll come up.”

As he spoke, he walked up the stairs and arrived at the entrance of the hidden space.

‘Although it’s difficult enough to enter the hidden space, it’s actually even more difficult to leave. Although Jin Jin was able to swiftly exit this hidden space, she did a whole series of actions as well. Thankfully Little Deeny has a surveillance system of the virtual space for her to be able to slow down Jin Jin’s actions to study, otherwise I’m probably going to be stuck here for a while.’

As for Little Deeny? She could now teleport within the virtual space, so there was nowhere that could confine her…

Su Yang followed Little Deeny’s movements and gestured. As expected, the black wall slowly turned into a hole.

Su Yang walked in and the hole slowly closed behind him.

Su Yang turned around and saw that the wall was still covered with that wonderful modern painting.

He was confused for a moment. ‘Is the hidden space behind the wall and the painting is just a mechanism? Or is the hidden space within the painting?’

Su Yang was puzzled for a while before he walked out of the villa.

The moment he stepped out of the villa, Su Yang saw the door to the courtyard being opened. A row of Little Monster Beans had tied up Jin Jin against a wooden pole as they carried her into the courtyard.

As they walked, the Little Monster Beans jumped and shouted, “Dou! Dou! Dou dou dou!”

That look reminded Su Yang of when the cannibals caught a person and was preparing to eat him.

Jin Jin, the female leopard, was tied to the wooden stick with her limbs tied up helplessly as though she had given up on struggling. Furthermore, she did not even care about her golden fur being dragged on the ground, something unimaginable for a narcissist like her.

Su Yang looked at her curiously. He could not understand how she could not defeat the Little Monster Beans with her size. Then… He saw Fei Fei, the huge rabbit knocking the door open and walking in. Little Deeny was following behind it, smiling while she chatted with it.

‘Right… I get it now.

‘It’s only normal that she could not defeat a 2 meter tall rabbit. After all… Not even I can.’

Su Yang asked the Little Monster Beans to place Jin Jin in the courtyard and instructed the other little monsters to leave first.

As expected, as soon as the other little monsters left, Jin Jin’s eyes began to roll. It was obvious that she was planning to escape.

Su Yang walked over and patted her head. “Jin Jin, shall we have a discussion?”

Jin Jin glanced at Su Yang without saying anything.

Su Yang said, “I understand that you like your current appearance. I like your current appearance as well, you look so cool and beautiful!”

The leopard’s gold face instantly broke into a smile after being sucked up to.

Su Yang continued, “But I still have to use my [Burning Reincarnation Circus]. I can’t possibly give up using my ability just because you’re so good looking, can I?”

After hesitating for a while, Jin Jin nodded.

Su Yang said, “Thankfully, the [Burning Reincarnation Circus] can now be controlled from the outside world. As long as I activate its functions inside, I can use the functions normally even if I don’t activate my ability every month. So, you just have to suffer for the next month and you’ll be free.”

Jin Jin’s voice rang in Su Yang’s ears. “Really?”

Su Yang looked at her seriously. “Really.”

‘If Jin Jin has [Space Traversing Eyes], she would probably see a bunch of notifications that’s telling her I’m lying and I shouldn’t be trusted!

‘Unfortunately, Jin Jin doesn’t have it. So, she’s slowly falling for my trick and obediently handing over her body…’

Seeing that she had calmed down, Su Yang patted her head with a smile and asked Janet to bring the meat out from the kitchen.

Last time, after Su Yang used the [Burning Reincarnation Circus], he still owed the circus 100 pounds of raw meat. As he had to buy meat every month, the next day, when Su Yang asked Janet to go to the supermarket to buy more meat, he had asked Janet to buy extra. Therefore, he had extra storage of meat at that moment.

After retrieving the raw meat, Su Yang caressed Jin Jin and chanted in his head to activate the [Burning Reincarnation Circus].

Then, a notification popped up in front of him.

[Ding. Burning Reincarnation Circus opened. Do you wish to enter?]

[Enter]

[Please pay the entrance fee: 500 pounds of raw meat.]

[Pay]

After Su Yang confirmed his choice, the meat on the ground disappeared, along with the smell of blood.

‘There is no excess meat falling. Looks like Janet has figured out the weighing scale at the supermarket and had it weighed perfectly. Or did he separate the meat into individual bags and reweighed them on his own when he returned home?’

Just as Su Yang was lost in his thoughts, Jin Jin, who was lying on the ground, had a change in her expression. She turned into the silhouette of a leopard.

The silhouette began to expand and become bigger and bigger. Finally, it turned into a giant leopard with its head and feet on the ground.

Then, the giant leopard’s mouth slowly opened, turning into a huge door of light that was 2 storeys tall.

[Welcome to… The Reincarnation Circus]

‘The ability has been used successfully.’

Su Yang, who was experienced, walked into the door without hesitation.

After he arrived at the circus’s parallel dimension, Su Yang walked along the light path to the circus tent. Then, his vision turned dark, and he automatically appeared at the VIP seat in the first row. On his right hand was a black notebook like before.

Everything was the same as before, and it made Su Yang feel more at ease. The circus had always been the most dangerous thing to him with its chaos, bloodshed and cruelty.

‘I feel more at ease now, there aren’t any changes here after it has been upgraded.’

As Su Yang thought about it, he picked up his notebook and opened it. There were some changes to it.

The original 5 choices in the notebook, [Watch The Show], [Check The Actors], [Increase The Number Of Actors], [Reverse Reincarnation] and [Burn Fate] had been changed into a new set of 5 choices.

‘The first option has turned into a new one. [Activate Circus Reality Projection].

‘Circus Reality Projection?

‘What is this?’
