Chapter 487: Planting Divinities

Jiang He’s Sword Array of Ten Realms and Infinity was absolutely frightening when he casted it as he was now, not to mention the ten swords he casted. Even the weakest was a mediocre-grade acquired soul treasure, revolving around the array core that was a premium-grade innate soul treasure.

A single swing of his sword destroyed the divine light protecting the Divine Mountain, with the bodies of almost all Lesser Gods within blowing up,

“Up!”

Jiang He pointed, and the sword array lifted, veins of sword light raining down over the Divine Mountain.

Shrouded beneath the Sword Array of Ten Realms and Infinity, the gods’ divine bodies blew up while their souls crumbled beneath the sword light, and the Overdeities barely survived any longer than the others.

Wang Hou said nothing as he looked on.

Right now, things were peaceful and Earth. Even if Jiang He did not made a move against the western gods who suddenly returned, Wang Hou himself would have thought of an excuse to do so, or there was no way he would dare to head to the celestial battlefield while leaving such a tumor on Earth.

And in no time at all—

Back!

Jiang He waved his hand, nullifying the Sword Array of Ten Realms and Infinity.

There was silence on the Divine Mountain. There were no rivers of bloods or mountains of corpses as imagined, only endless divine power, erratic and wafting, as well as stacks of divinities strewn across the mountain.

After condensing their divinity, the western cultivators would utterly abandon their body of flesh and assumed the path of divine power and divine body. In death, their divine bodies would crumble, and there naturally would not be a corpse.

Jiang He walked up and waved, and a towering immortal power gusted, dispelling the erratic divine power while he collected the many divinities.

After a rough count, it turned out that there were twelve Overdeity divinities, including Zeus’s.

Besides those, there were 360 divinities of Greater Gods, over 3,000 divinities of intermediate gods and more than 50,000 divinities of lesser gods.

Furious, Jiang He cursed, “These western gods aren’t weak. 360 Greater Gods’ divinities meant they had 360 Golden Immortals, and even if they were weaker despite being the same tier, they did not help when the Hundred Races Alliance invaded Earth?”

Wang Hou shook his head, gesturing that he had no idea.

The Alliance’s invasion of Earth had caused a bigger commotion than this time, with hundreds of millions of True Immortals and Heavenly Immortals, as well as thousands of Golden Immortals mobilized.

Earth’s forces were not actually weak at the time either. In the Hua Nation alone, various elites from immortal sects and grotto-heavens had fought, and only sealed Earth before retreating when they left Earth, with most sects moving all their disciples and scions.

While the defeat at the time was most likely connected to the rivalry of the Saints in the celestial battlefield, there was a chance that Earth would not be defeated if the western gods had helped.

But that was all in the past, and Jiang He did not mention it after a few curses.

He became interested in the Divine Mountain instead.

It was not a plain gimmick. Being a sacred mountain in the first place, the western gods dwelling there used their divine powers to refine over endless years. Along with the belief they had absorbed from countless beings, the Divine Mountain was now a powerful Overdeity item.

In terms of power, it would be a match for premium-grade acquired soul treasures.

However, its offensive tactics was very simple since it was only able to hit or smash.

“That said, this divine mountain could collide a star and blew it up… if I use it as a weapon to hit an opponent with my current power levels, even the best Grand Luo would be smashed into a puddle of meat.”

Jiang He hence began to refine the Divine Mountain.

However, he thought to himself, ‘And yet, that combat style would be exceedingly crude with no elegance to speak of. However, I could move it back to my farm for use as a scenery object.’

The gods had fallen and the Divine Mountain had no owner, and Jiang He soon controlled it.

With a thought, the majestic lofty mountain turned into a streak of divine light, and rapidly shrunk into three inches and landed in Jiang He’s palm.

Holding it in his hand, Jiang He returned to Earth in a flash, appearing before Jin Sidao and the others.

“How did it go, Mister Jiang?” Jin Sidao asked, while Jiang He merely smiled at Wang Zhenren who was shaking, saying, “I’ve settled the score for you, Wang Zhenren. The gods of the west are all fallen.”

“It’s now 11pm in Hua Nation time, gentlemen, so I’ll be going home for supper.”

Jiang He disappeared in a flash, leaving Jin Sidao and the others trading glances.

Wang Zhenren opened his mouth, unsure of what to say… and it was a long while later when he laughed out loud.

Jin Sidao was speechless.

Did you really take Jiang He’s words at face value?

Slaughtering the Overdeities of the West for you?

Jin Sidao did not even have to think to know what Jiang He was up to—the man was just looking for an excuse to destroy the western gods.

Standing up in the skies and looking at the western lands, Jin Sidao said with a bitter laugh, “All of the west would probably by stunned by what happened this day. There were many believers of those gods, and I wonder what their faces would look like after learning that their gods are all dead?”

“Come!”

“We’re returning too!”

Veins of sword light tore through the horizon and flew east.

***

Regardless of what Jin Sidao and the others thought or how the west was shocked, today’s trip had been quite rewarding for Jiang He.

“The trouble in the west is cleared completely… sigh!”

Returning home to eat supper made by Boa Hancock, Jiang He could not help breathing a long sigh and whispering, “What a shame that I went a little violent this time. I just wanted to warn them, but it tuns out that they were so unreasonable and I was forced to massacre them.”

After all… there was already a grudge.

Since Jiang He killed Ares, Poseidon, and Hephaestus, what if the other gods tried to get back at him because he did not kill them all?

While he did not fear such a thing, he found it quite annoying.

With a thought, Jiang He waved his hand and took out a hexagonal divinity.

Pale-blue, cold watery light swirled upon it, and it was cool to the touch.

“This is probably a divinity condensed by a Lesser God of the water element, and the core of his discipline was frost.” Jiang He arched his back and used his fingers to dig a small hole on the soil.

That was when Dumbo dashed toward him.

He immediately appeared before Jiang He, its canine face overflowing with shock as it cried out, “Master! How could you do such menial task—allow me, allow me…”

Jiang He could not help laughing as it extended its paws.

The dog had good eyes.

Nonchalantly throwing the Lesser God’s divinity to Dumbo, Jiang He took out an Intermediate God’s divinity and a Greater God’s divinity, saying, “Plant these three divinities and we’ll see what we get.”

It was already slightly past midnight.

Though spirited, Jiang He had to sleep or he would be messing up his biological clock again.

Still, he tossed and turned on his bed, unable to sleep no matter what he did. Being a full-fledged Grand Luo meant immeasurable spirit and overwhelming physique, and he would not tire even if he did not sleep for a thousand years.

And yet, Jiang He did not think about that.

All humans must sleep, and being unable to sleep meant something was on his mind.

What could it be?

It goes without saying that the Nether River Patriarch and the Green Hill Foxes had left their mark on him, keeping him worried subconsciously that they would get back at him…

“Sigh!”

Jiang He got up, muttering, “I can’t afford to waste time. I must use every second and head to the celestial battlefield as soon I can, buying resources and planting them to earn Farm Points for improving myself!”

Putting on his clothes and arriving at his farm, he found Dumbo sprawled on the ground and guarding three weirdly shaped trees.

Well… we could call it a tree for now!

After all, they resembled trees in appearance.

One of the trees was around five meters, and was pale blue from trunk to branch and leaves. Jiang He walked up and touched it with his finger, and could actually feel a watery flow.

A hundred pale-blue hexagonal prism fruits dangled from the tree.

Another tree was composed entirely of flames, and was almost ten meters tall, with a hundred scarlet hexagonal prism fruits dangling.

The last tree, which was almost fifteen meters tall, had a vague earthen-yellow luster and appeared to be composed of soil, having a hundred earthen-yellow hexagonal prism fruits dangling from its branches.

Jiang He’s eyes lit up.

Divinity could be planted!

Still, how much would he gain?

Arriving beside the water tree, he used his immortal power to bring down a pale-blue hexagonal prism fruit.

[Ding!]

[+10,000 Farm Points.]

A System Notification jingled in his head, and a cluster of data appeared when Jiang He fixed his gaze on it—

“The divinity of a lesser god with water-element affinity?”

Then, he plucked a scarlet fruit.

[Ding!]

[+ One hundred thousand Farm Points.]

“This… is an intermediate god’s divinity with fire affinity?”

[Ding!]

[+1 million Farm Points.]

The earthen-yellow hexagonal prism was an earth-type’s Greater Gods’s divinity, which earned a million Farm Points for Jiang He on its own, leaving him thrilled and delighted.

“A single Greater God’s divinity earns me a million Farm Points each, and this tree has a hundred of those, making it a hundred million… and since I have 360 divinities, doesn’t that mean I would get 36 billion Farm Points?”

“Moreover, I still have substantial divinities belonging to Lesser Gods, Intermediate Gods, and the twelve Overdeities…”

Jiang He felt that his martial cultivation could further improve!
