Chapter 536 Ghost King’s Sacrificial Little Bride (29)

He curled up from excessive pain, and his body began to change.

Black ghost qi densely surrounded him.

Others couldn’t see his appearance, but a strange creaking noise was emitted from him, as if his bones were elongating.

Bai Weiwei felt that she could no longer be lazy, or else Bai Wen would completely kill Ji Yongchuan.

She didn’t know how much it would cost to revive a ghost.

She tried to search through her memories, those about the Bai Weiwei, who grew up in a family of exorcists.

Some basic knowledge was still available.

Bai Weiwei reached out and bit her wrist hard, the blood of the living came out.

She immediately sprinkled it on the white rice, the qi force binding her became much smaller.

She was covered in blood, and had exhausted all the strength in her body, however she threw herself out of the circle of rice.

Bai Wen was concentrating on dealing with Ji Yongchuan, suddenly coldly lifted his eyes, “Really nonsense, people and ghosts have different paths, how can you be so wayward.”

He reached out, and a piece of white paper appeared, then it split into countless little paper people.

The paper men clamored loudly as they rushed behind Bai Weiwei, gravely clinging to her feet.

Bai Weiwei fell to the ground at once, even so she disregarded that to morbidly reached out to grab the ground, staining it with her blood.

“Uncle, let him go. He saved me, I would have died without him in the cemetery.”

Bai Wen: “I see this ghost doesn’t have good intentions, believe me.”

Bai Weiwei raised her tear filled eyes: “I don’t believe you, I believe him. He won’t harm me, so don’t hurt him, good or no good?”

This sentence was laden with humble pitiable pleas.

She spoke as she used all her might to crawl on the ground.

Ji Yongchuan’s eyes were wholly blood red, in the center of the black ghost qi, he watched the wolfish Bai Weiwei keep crawling towards him.

He’d never seen any human who could do this kind of thing for a ghost.

How could she trust him so?

He was brimming with dark ill-intentions, and she should realize Bai Wen was right.

How could she believe him, this…… Evil spirit who was about to expose his original appearance?

Bai Weiwei was incomparably beastly, and covered in blood. When she finally reached Bai Wen’s side, she instantly hugged his thighs.

“Uncle, he’s just an incapable weak ghost, he can’t hurt people.”

She begged him pitifully and desperately.

Bai Wen’s body went rigid, the peach wood sword in his hand unintentionally gained a few points of force, plunging deeper into Ji Yongchuan’s form.

More blood poured out of Ji Yongchuan’s mouth.

His face began to change, but his eyes stared Bai Weiwei to death.

Bai Weiwei also lifted her head in horror, her eyes brimming with despair as tears burst out.

Ji Yongchuan for the first time, felt that her crying wasn’t so frustrating.

His stone-like heart began to feel a burning ache.

“Don’t beg him……” He endured severe pain to open his mouth, and struggled to utter these words.

Bai Weiwei heard it, and her expression froze. But, only for half a second, before her tears streamed even more wildly.

She sobbed almost breathlessly, “Little Gege……”

When Ji Yongchuan heard this call, the eyes finally softened a little.

He gave a mocking smile, he didn’t think that someone could be so silly.

Just a casual lie from him, and her whole heart was given.

In order to save him, she would be made wolfish to this extent.

【Ding, the male lead’s favorability is at 30.】

His body ultimately wasn’t able to withstand it, his whole person fell back to the ground. His figure spread out looking as though his soul was scattering.

Bai Weiwei wailed hopelessly, “No, little Gege, don’t leave me.”

Ji Yongchuan heard her cry, and couldn’t help reaching out gently, “It’s all right, I’m all right……”

The black ghost qi slowly dispersed, only his voice stubbornly lingered.

This touching love between life and death.

Was simply the thousand year old song of humans and ghosts being separated.

Bai Wen: Feels like I’m the big villain, but this is just restoring his shape, how does it seem so life and death?

Extremely exhausted system: dramatic love talk, very scary, very contrived, very ungrounded. Heart’s tired.

Bai Weiwei: Wu wu1, I’m Liang Zhu. I’m Xu Xian and Bai Niangzi. I’m Romeo and Juliet2.

Suddenly there was an ominous and heavy, dark qi in the air.

1: 呜呜, crai noyz.↩

2: Bai Weiwei is listing off tragic romance leads. Liang Zhu refers to Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai from The Butterfly Lovers. Xu Xian and Bai Niangzi are from The Legend of White Snake. I don’t need to say where Romeo and Juliette are from right? Thanks to Hali for tracking down the stories these characters originated from.↩
