Chapter 1615: Wild Spirit Rabbit

Translator: Exodus Tales  Editor: Exodus Tales

If you had to find the craziest activity at Brewfest, Coren Direbrew was undoubtedly number one.

This red-bearded Dwarf Thief was the celebrity idol of Brewfest with numerous people surrounding him. Ever since his stunning appearance at the first Brewfest, countless people came to visit every year.

An NPC or in other words a Boss who wanted to be popular all the time needed more than just to drop good equipment. Especially with the improvement of player’s levels, equipment would always have a time when it would become outdated.

Unless he could drop a mount!

That’s right – Coren Direbrew was a BOSS who could drop a mount.

He could not only drop a mount, but he could also drop two types of mounts. This was unprecedented in Dawn’s gaming history.

The two types of mount that he dropped were both highly sought-after, especially the shrunken version of the Kodo. There were some players who liked to ride these types of mounts after drinking shrinkage potions. Then, both the player and mount would shrink together, which was particularly cute. Brewfest’s Kodo along with shrinkage potion was the ultimate combo for players who loved cute styles.

Of course, Lu Li was not going to let go of such a good opportunity.

He got a team ready in the first moment, and was ready to take this Boss.

Bringing Water Fairy was a must. These couple of days they were always together, as if they were in a honeymoon period. He could leave anyone behind except his girlfriend. This man who puts hoes before bros didn’t care about other people’s complaints.

Even though this Boss was weakened several times later, and could be handled without a real Main Tank, to not have a Main tank early on meant courting death.

Hence, Azure Sea Breeze was naturally dragged into this.

As long as it was something like an Instance Dungeon, fighting Bosses and looting corpses, then the little lucky hand also was a must. Otherwise, Lu Li would feel unsettled.

Only five people could participate in this Boss fight. That left only one more place, and it had to be a Healer too. Because this single place wasn’t enough to include the siblings of Lonesome Flower and March Rain, Lu Li pulled Hachi Chan into the team. Even though her healing abilities were not as good as March Rain, but they were enough to deal with a Boss of this level.

“Quick! Look at my rabbit!” Remnant Dream shouted as soon as she saw Lu Li and the others.

“Can’t see it.”

Lu Li was doubting if he was short-sighted or had presbyopia. No matter how he rubbed his eyes, he couldn’t see the rabbit described by Remnant Dream. She even said it was white as snow and had a little pink bowtie on its neck.

But as someone reborn, he quickly thought of another possibility…

Other people had a face of confusion.

Could it be that the little hunter had caught so many pets that she had gone to the point of craziness? She didn’t have any pets by her side.

“You guys drink, quickly!” Remnant Dream said mysteriously.

“Okay, take it easy.”

Because it was Brewfest, everyone carried all sorts of alcohol in their bags, as well as anti-alcoholic drugs that sobered them up instantly. In this type of atmosphere, even people who didn’t like to drink couldn’t help but take a few sips.

There were also people who enjoyed trying different tastes of wine and the feeling of being drunk.

Lu Li drank several bottles of wine, and finally received a notification from the System that said, “You’re completely drunk”. In the haze of his drunkenness, he finally saw the legendary ‘wild spirit rabbit’. It was a very beautiful little rabbit, and its most striking feature was its little pink bowtie.

He had to lament the fact that the little Hunter had such good luck to find something that only existed in a legend.

There weren’t any clues given by officials regarding the wild spirit rabbit. Players could only see capture a glimpse of it in a completely drunken state. Even though any profession could capture one, the probability of catching them was too small.

In a completely drunken state, how players could walk was an issue, let alone catching this type of bunny.

However, once they became sober, they would never be able see this creature.

“Hehe, I have to thank Lu Li bro. You kept me drinking, then I got drunk. Then, I saw a lil’ rabbit lying by the side of my feet and I caught it straight away,” Remnant Dream giggled.

Previously, Lu Li had egged on Remnant Dream to drink in order to verify if drinking alcohol could grant Skill Points.

He never would have thought that she would catch this type of rare pet.

In fact, this type of pet was not loved by everyone. After all, when it came to pets, other than yourself, you would still hope that other people could see it by your side. People liked to share their happiness, or to pretend to be cool and impress girls. A majority of people didn’t like a pet that only they themselves could see.

After all, there were few people who kept themselves completely drunk all the time.

This was just a little interlude before the Boss fight. As the System’s daughter, Hachi Chan’s gains from Brewfest were enough to make anyone jealous.

Nearly all the drunkard NPCs were fighting for her services. Many of the rewards were unheard of, even to Lu Li.

Lu Li had also reaped a bountiful harvest at this Brewfest, but he just wouldn’t tell these girls.

Coren Direbrew was currently located at the Grim Guzzler, which was in the Blackrock Abyss Instance Dungeon.

There was no need for Nightmare difficulty in the Instance Dungeon. In any case, no matter Nightmare or Normal difficulty, Coren Direbrew wouldn’t see any changes.

Some players thought that the Nightmare difficulty would drop better things. The results showed that they were completely wrong. In fact, Coren Direbrew was just a Wild Boss.

As someone reborn, even if he was dumb, Lu Li still wouldn’t choose Nightmare difficulty.

After Lu Li and the other entered the Blackrock Spire, he started to lead everyone on a detour. After walking around for a while, the Grim Guzzler appeared in their sights. The whole process didn’t have any Boss fights; they just had to clean up some small monsters.

Normally the team who came to fight Coren Direbrew would push according to the Instance Dungeon’s basic steps.

However, that wasted too much time. Plus, even if it was just a normal difficulty, this Instance Dungeon was not as easily fought by five people. A slightly weaker team would inevitably be destroyed several times.

After a few more days, in order to consider the players who didn’t have the ability to fight to the Grim Guzzler, the officials would optimise it more.

One change was to use a type of Direbrew’s Remote. This would transport a player’s whole team straight to the Grim Guzzler. Another change was to have the Remote set-up at the entrance. As long as players killed the guard at the entrance, they could get to the Grim Guzzler through the Remote.

What if the guard couldn’t be killed? Then it was better not to go in. Coren Direbrew was a lot harder to kill than the guard.
