Chapter 1964: Zul’Aman Appears

Before Wings of Dawn fought against Blood Red War Flag, the game came out with a new patch.

Black Temple!

It was said that in order to rule all of the Outland, the betrayer Illidan established a giant stronghold called the Black Temple and stationed troops there to be used as a Draenei fortress.

After his most trusted aide Kael’thas Sunstrider failed, Illidan’s power began to wane.

This was a perfect opportunity. The virtuous Draenei Akama, who was called Broken, rose up to oppose the so-called Outland lord. When Illidan was a warden, with the help of the fortuitous Night Elf Maiev Shadowsong and Akama, a group of warriors successfully snuck into Illidan’s throne of authority, completely ending the rule of the betrayer.

The new patch included the new Instance Dungeons Zul’Aman and the Black Temple, as well as a few changes to other ones.

Paladins were made stronger, the talent system was improved, there were some new arena maps, and so on.

The Black Temple and Mount Hyjal were both T6 Instance Dungeons, but Zul’Aman was between T5 and T6. This was to allow players to accumulate better equipment beforehand.

As soon as this Instance Dungeon was released, it immediately attracted the attention of all the major clubs.

First Clear!

The difficult Instance Dungeon First Clears were taken by Ruling Sword, while the easy ones depended on luck.

Lu Li had a lukewarm attitude towards the Zul’Aman Instance Dungeon First Clear. He didn’t even make joining the First Clear team a priority because he thought Ruling Sword had already passed the stage of needing to get First Clears to increase their profile.

Speaking from the current situation, one more or one less First Clear simply wouldn’t affect the club.

Unless it was an Instance Dungeon like Mount Hyjal with a team of 25, getting a First Clear was equivalent to more than ten pieces of equipment, so it really was worth giving it a go.

Zul’Aman was considered a ten-man Instance Dungeon, and of course, the equipment couldn’t be compared with T6 items. It was only the Berserker’s Call that was really worth getting.

The things that Lu Li was busy with now were complicated, but the main thing now was to look at the layout of the club.

The first issue was everyone’s pay. The Elite team’s salary had to be increased a little. Ruling Sword wasn’t rich, but they at least were considered to be out of poverty.

They couldn’t continue the long-term development of the club just with a positive attitude.

Strongholds earned a lot of money, especially the Strongholds that Sky Moon peddled. Aside from quickly turning him into a multimillionaire, they also gave the club a handsome profit.

They had 200-300 million dollars in capital in their account, so Lu Li began to encourage the Elite team again.

He and Cat Dad set up some new regulatory frameworks together.

Contributions weren’t enough for the Elite team members to stay where they were. Unless there was a special reason for them and they made special contributions, they would have to be laid off from the Elite team.

These people who were laid off would leave the guild. After all, most people wouldn’t accept this ‘humiliation’.

These decisions were not taken lightly. Who knew if they would become a great god in the game? Perhaps in a future interview they would remember how Ruling Sword and Lu Li had looked down on them back in those days.

This wasn’t enough to stop Lu Li’s from chopping them off and implementing reform.

As for ordinary guild members, as long as they contributed to a certain level, they could enter the Elite team for now and begin their own Elite trial period. They would be trialed for a month, and whether or not they could stay on was completely dependent on their own abilities.

The Elite teams were expanded once again. Lu Li would maintain 15 Elite teams in Ruling Sword, and Judgement Spear would do their best to keep 5 Elite teams.

20 Elite teams, 2000 people – in real life, this was already a massive enterprise.

Lu Li would do his best to ensure that their average income reached about $10,000 every month, and at least more than %6000, with the possibility of an increase.

Simply in paying monthly wages, they threw away $20 million.

However, if they spent a lot, they earnt a lot too. Now, Ruling Sword didn’t need Lu Li to personally fund the guild’s activities. Just the income from the Strongholds was enough to cover this.

In just a short while, Seventh Heaven had already achieved the Zul’Aman First Clear.

At this time, Sky Moon was still fighting the last Boss, but they weren’t far behind. Seven minutes after Seventh Heaven achieved the First Clear, they finished off the last Boss.

The second day was Monday, and a new Stronghold battle was starting.

A new map was opened, including the second Stronghold of Black Sea Coast. This Stronghold was one that Ruling Sword had to fight for. Anyone who dared interfere would become Ruling Sword’s mortal enemy.

Of course, if Drizzle Court decided to stake their claim, Lu Li wouldn’t really mind.

Drizzle Court had become a powerful force in this Stronghold battle.

Because Water Fairy had become a baroness, her two Strongholds were safe, so they had power to begin seeking an expansion.

Another club that had gamblers excited was Glory Capital.

No matter how much Wendelian had calmed the hearts of her forces, the hearts of Glory Capital’s people were going to be a bit unsettled. Like before, there were quite a few analysts who gave their variously mistaken deductions.

That was why whether Glory Capital would lose a few Strongholds or now was a key issue for gamblers.

Ruling Sword didn’t care about the others; they had to protect their own two Strongholds in Grey Valley. One of them was occupied by the Life Alliance. They also had to protect the first Stronghold of the Black Sea Coast, compete for the second, and help Judgement Spear hold Winterspring.

The first time, Ruling Sword sent out as many top players as they could to help Judgement Spear claim Winterspring.

Before the start of the Stronghold battle, everyone had a special discussion regarding Winterspring. In fact, Wandering held the position of wanting to sell Winterspring. After all, there were too many Strongholds affiliated with Ruling Sword, and Judgement Spear wasn’t strong enough to truly hold Winterspring themselves.

Unfortunately, everyone in Judgement Spear was firmly against Wandering’s decision. At this time, Wandering was still the leader of Judgement Spear.

Since everyone wasn’t willing to let it go, then they could only do all they could do defend it. At the moment, the biggest thing they could count on was the Fel Reavers.

Originally, Ruling Sword had 11 Fel Reavers, but now they only had 9 left.

As players levelled up to 70, their equipment quality increased, and Fel Reavers weren’t absolutely overwhelming anymore. As soon as the one controlling the Fel Reaver slipped up, it was easy for it to be destroyed.

Lu Li moved a couple of Fel Reavers to Judgement Spear, while Wandering was responsible for commanding.

Three were given to the Life Alliance, and they gave some top fighting players too for support. They had to guarantee that not an inch of the second Stronghold Grey Valley would be lost.

There were four Fel Reavers left – two were to help protect the first Stronghold of Grey Valley, while two were to help claim the second Stronghold.

Lu Li personally led a team to participate in the Black Sea Coast’s Grand Melee battle. Previously, they had defeated Winterspring, but whether they could defeat the Black Sea Coast’s second stronghold now was hard to say. The only thing Lu Li could boast about was that he had the advantage of being able to transform into a crow. He could see the whole situation from the sky. The others did not have this sort of ability.
