Chapter 2569: Domains III

“I was really hoping we find the disk of everessence in this place, but it seemed like we have no such luck here,” Rai said with a regretful sigh as we reached the end of the fire domain.

“We are already very lucky that we have found such treasure land; we couldn’t be greedy and expect more,” I replied. I also feel disappointed at not getting everessence of the fire element, but I am content with what I have already got.

Not to mention, there are three more domains we have yet to explore, and I am sure we will find amazing things there.

A minute later, we walked out of the fire elemental domain, and as we entered back into the cavern with water elemental energy around us, the five-pointed star behind Lady Atkins began to shine and absorb the thick water elemental energies.

“Which domain should we enter next,” I asked, looking at the three domains next to us. “Let’s go to earth domain; it feels less dangerous than the other two,” said Lady Atkins; we nodded and walked toward it.

“Fuck, I had not expected the earth domain to be this nasty; if we hadn’t found such treasures, I would never think about going back to that place,” Rai said as we came out of the earth domain four hours later.

Lady Atkins had been very wrong about the earth domain being the least dangerous; it is extremly dangerous, just as dangerous as the fire domain.

I have lost a count of how many times I had been attacked by the metallic spikes, earth stones that would just fly out of nowhere. For me, it is even more dangerous than the fire domain, as I had at least had some immunity against the fire.

Though we have found great treasures, aside from the raw earth element crystals and precious metals. We have also found precious earth elemental plants; there were far more than what we have found in the fire domain.

There is also a place where there was a small source of water element energy.

I have created a few plots of the farm there, sowing the seeds of precious plants. I wish I had a little more time; I would have been able to create more plots to sow the needs.

“Poison or lightning?” I asked; I did not immediately get an answer. It is clear that these two domains would be most dangerous, far more than the fire and earth domains. Here one element represents the destruction, while the other represents the death itself, a painful, horrible death.

“Lightning,” answered Lady Atkins after nearly a minute of silence.

With her answer, we did not wait for any second and walked toward the lightning domain with trepidation burning in our hearts.

“Fuck! I don’t think I will ever go into the center of this domain without advancing,” cursed Lady Atkins as we stepped out of the domain.

“Me too,” I replied and sat down.

All three of us sat down; the aura was weak, and the blistering marks could be seen all over our bodies. Especially on Lady Atkins and me, Rai is faring much better compared to us, despite bearing the lighting assault the most, and there is even a smile on his face.

I could understand the reason for his happiness, but currently, I am in no mood to share it.

The only reason we have even been able to survive that onslaught we have suffered inside was because I piled our best defensive method one after another; it had brought us enough time that we were able to run away at a safe distance.

Still, if we had been a few seconds later, we wouldn’t have been standing here.

“I think we should take a rest, prepare more before venturing inside the poison domain,” I suggested and got the affirmative nod in return. We discussed the time before I took out of my spatial abode, and the three of us went inside.

“The meal will be five hours later,” I said and walked inside the room and directly laid on the bed without caring for anything.

I fell asleep instantly; I had not slept for days, and these domains have made me quite tired, especially the lightning domain, which showed me my limit. The things had gotten so dangerous there that I was a step away from burning my blood to power up my shields.

Buzz!

Four and half hours passed by when I finally woke up, with the single buzz of the alarm. I felt refreshed but also strange; there are some memories in me that are not mine; it took me a moment to realize whom they had belonged.

They were of my clone, it had gotten them when I was sleeping, and since my clone and I are a single entity, they could be said to be my own memories.

I entered inside my core and saw everything I had instructed it before sleeping had been done. It had thirteen hours, which is more than enough for those things.

My clone had created three huge circular formations; they are purification formations. I have a huge amount of raw elemental crystals, but unlike the water elemental crystals that are made of mellowed energy that Grandmasters and High Grandmasters could use.

These crystals contain the raw energy which would kill even High Grandmasters. If the Grandmaster tried even a single whiff of energy, they would simply explode.

Currently, these crystals are not much useful; they are too volatile and explode with the slightest mishandling.

These complex purification formations would turn the raw energy into mellowed energy, which could be used.

I need these purified elemental crystals for my own use and for the project. Especially the fire elemental crystals, I would need to gather as many as I could get my hands on.

Thankfully, the domain had a huge amount of them, and it would continue to produce, so I should not have to be worried about running out of them as long as I am not careless in their usage.

I looked around for a few minutes before I walked out of my core and stepped into the shower, where I took a long bath, wiping out all the non-existent grime that was present on my body.

I walked out of the bathroom and wore a new set of clothes and my jacket before stepping out of the room.

The kitchen was empty when I walked inside, seeing that I began to bring out the dishes my clone had cooked with such efforts and also a bottle of bloodwine. This bottle had a single pure drop of nine blood-burning essences, I wanted to taste it so bad, but I did not have the ability before, but now I have.

I did not open the bottle even though I very much wanted to; I will open it when both of them arrive, and we will drink it together.

I had just thought that when I had sensed them coming, soon both of them appeared in the kitchen and their eyes locked on the feast laid on the table, before on the single bottle of the blood-wine.

I looked at Rai, and the smile on my face brightened; looking at his earlier expressions, I thought he would forcefully try to break the seal, and he had the capability, but fortunately, he did not.

The seals did not need the force; they would break on their own after Rai’s body satisfied its conditions.
