“It’s time to say goodbye,” I said as I looked back the hills, before turning back to the gate.
This place had given me more than I had thought it would. It will always have a special place in my heart, but now it is time to leave it and enter the dangerous world again.
I took a deep breath and stepped into the gate.
A moment later, the powerful energy hit me before the world becomes clear. It is a harsh world outside, but exuberant life grows in it.
Hun!
I had just looked around for things when I saw a Werewolf staring at me. It is only a few hundred meters away from me, come here wanting to enter the castle.
“It is your bad luck, Grimm,” I said, and before it could let out even a single word. I took it inside my core.
Nero jumped out of my shoulder and entered the forest, while I had followed behind him, with my stealth method active at full power. My strength might have grown tremendously, but I am cautious as before.
I have seen Grimm more powerful than me torn apart by the monsters. I don’t want the same to happen to me.
‘Father monster,’ Nero warned.
I had just thought that when Nero warned me about the monster and hid behind the tree a few seconds later. A large blue bird flew over me. It was powerful enough to kill me.
“Fuck!” I cursed as the bird disappeared.
That bird was a Peak Sovereign and had the strongest aura I had sensed in this ruin. If it had sensed me, it would have been a game over me.
I resumed my journey a few seconds later. Following the map, I had been doing since the first day. I have more places to check on this map.
Though my first target will be finding Sovereign, native, and Grimm both. Especially native, to exchange information, especially about the exit or whatever little know about it.
As I moved, tens of strings moved around me.
These strings are thin as a hair, but harvest the resources at much greater ease than the rope-like strings which I used to employ before.
Still, they are not my real strings. I will get them when I reach the Sovereign stage, I am confident of that. I miss them. They made a lot of things easy for me.
Half an hour passed, and we were moving at incredible speed. Nero is scouting the safest part and I just following it. We had come across a couple of Grimms, Nero had killed all of them, except for one.
It had a bloodline and used the growth energy from it to grow a few more seeds.
‘Nero, stop,’ I said as I stopped.
I had sensed something, and I was going to fight it. I dreamed about it since I had entered this ruin, but I had been too weak, but I now, I have become strong enough to do it.
“Hello, little bull,” I said as I revealed myself.
It stopped eating the herb. It was eating and turned to me slowly, while I took out the stealth field artifact and threw it in the distance. A second later, it fixed itself on the ground and released the stealth field.
MOOOO!
It stared at me for a couple of seconds before mooing loudly and coming at me with incredible speed.
I did not move away from my spot and instead watched it.
It is a white bull, twice as big as a normal bull monster, with red crystalline horns, which begin to glow.
They way, they are burning the surrounding energy. It is clear they are extremely dangerous. I could not let them pierce my body in any condition or I would find myself turning to the ashes.
Burst 75%
Soon, it was only ten meters away from me and my sword appeared in my hand, and I activated the burst at 75%.
Incredible power filled me, and I shook for a moment.
I had not used even 50% of the bursts against the Grimms, I had fought in the castle, but against this bull monster, I am using 75%.
It is powerful enough to warrant that.
MOOO!

I moved my sword in response; this time, it is not a long sword I am using, but a great sword. Not my original great sword, but a great sword of different dimensions.
It is still a weapon I am most proficient in, and I am using it against the strongest enemy, I am fighting in this ruin.
CLANG!
A loud metallic clash rang out as its huge shining red horn clashed against my sword, creating a powerful noise and a shockwave.
I do not care about that. What I care about is the impact. I am feeling, which sent me a couple of steps back, with blood leaking from the corner of my mouth.
“You are really a challenging opponent,” I said while grinning and took the burst at 90%.ραпdα `nᴏνɐ| сom
The bull had gotten angry, and its horns become even hotter than flames lit around it. It had not come from the horns, but from the sheet heat, it is projecting, which is burning the surrounding energy.
MOOOOO!
It mooed even more loudly than before and came at me, with such a speed, that it felt like it had taken an instant to appear beside me.
It attacked to tear me apart, and I moved my sword to defend against the blazing blow.
CLANG!
Once again, its horn clashed against my sword, but this time, it burned my sword and then me, with the monstrous, chaotic energy it had sent toward me while shaking me from top to bottom.
Its monster energy is extremely powerful, but my armor had taken it all inside and refined it. While it was doing that, I felt hot all over me.
“You will have to try harder than that to kill me, bull,” it said as it looking me with burning anger.
MOOOOO!
It mooed and attacked me, and I moved my sword to defend myself. Increasing my power further, as the bull had done the same.
CLANG CLANG CLANG
My sword clashed against its horn. This time, too, I had shaken from head to toe, with the raw power attacking me, while its monster energy burned me.
This time, it did not stop after the attack and attacked me again and again, harnessing more and more power from its bloodline core.
The red veins materialize all over it as it started to pull more and more power to attack me.
Seeing those veins, my mouth couldn’t help but water.
I have never eaten a monster with such thick veins. The last ruin I had gone to had monsters of the Sovereign stage, but they did not have such thick magic veins, as the majority of monsters of this ruin have.
It is this energy; they need powerful veins to absorb the energy and transfer it around their body.
Well, I am glad, as it is the thing that makes these monsters more delicious. Now that I had seen the veins, I want to kill it even more.
MOOOOOO!
It seemed to understand what I was feeling about it. As it harnessed even more power, the veins begin to shine in broad daylight.
Seeing that, my expression became serious, and I harnessed more power from the burst before moving toward the bull.
CLANNG!
We clashed and, for the first time since our battle, begin; it is the bull that shook and it saying it made it angry would be a gross underestimation.
It was furious.
MOOOOOO!
It mooed and came at me with its full power, and I did not hold back either. I harnessed 100% of the burst, which is immense, that I could barely contain it in my body.
CLANNNNG!
My sword hit the horns of the bull hard, sending it a step back. A shock appeared on the dumb monster’s face, before turning it into the rate.
It had just moved when I hit its horn again, sending it a few more steps back.
It feels good to attack like this. I had been hiding from these monsters since the moment I had taken the steps into this ruin, but now I have got the chance to fight one of them.
So, I am enjoying it very much.
I am only attacking the horns. I could attack other parts and I should do it rather than wasting time, in attacking the horns, which will not break, no matter how much I power up the sharpness enchantment.
All I could be able to do is, make a few light scratches on them. They will be great resources and I had already decided what I had planned to do with them.
MOOOOOO!
It mooed loudly, and I thought it would attack me, but it turned to escape.
“You think you could just run away?” I asked it and a moment later. Thick ropes appeared around its body. While I didn’t get strings, despite gaining the power of Sovereign, I have become powerful enough to bring out some of their abilities.
These will only work on monsters; as their soul sense is easy to fool.
Unlike the soul sense of natives and Grimms, which is refined by methods. They would discover it immediately if I tried to bind them with these thick ropes.
“It was fun fighting with you, bull, but it is time for you to die,” I said and appeared beside it and attacked it.
My sword had morphed into a needle sword and was now moving toward its left eye. I want to kill it soon as possible and given its thick defense; the eyes are best.
In this way, I won’t waste any of its meat.
