“Finally, out,” I said, looking at the bright crystalline sun rays. That will cook anyone below the Primary-III in seconds.
It is regretful; I have to get out of the library, but I couldn’t stay inside after what I had experienced. It is better to get out and hunt some Grimms; that is what will help me the most in this ruin.
As my stealth method melded with the surrounding energy, I begin to move.
I am moving toward the direction of mist valley; that would be my next destination and hopefully, the last one. I will have to cross the city and I am sure, on the way, I will find some Grimms.
I would have found more. If Nero had been with me, but he is still hiding near the first gate and wouldn’t leave till evening.
Thankfully, there no new native appeared.
I talked to Nero for about a few seconds and moved ahead, with strings moving around me, to collect the resources. In the library, I have lost enormous resources, not only in healing myself, but also those present in the storage ring that the corrupt took.
Those storages had a lot of resources. I couldn’t keep my show storage empty. So, I filled them with a lot of resources.
Each one had resources equal to what I get from killing Sovereign and while it is nothing to be compared to the large number of resources, I have due to killing the sheer number of resources.
I don’t like to lose resources, even if it is a drop in the bucket compared to what I have.
Hun!
A few minutes passed when suddenly, I sensed a Grimm and sneakily moved toward it. Four minutes and two seconds later, I reached the Grimm.
An initial-level Sovereign Grey Bearman and didn’t have a bloodline.
Puch!
I pushed away the disappointment I was feeling and moved toward the Bearman fast. I was so quick that I was able to reach it in an instant before my sword pierced through its back.
It had only sensed me at the last moment, but it was already too late.
A moment later, it disappeared, and I resumed my journey. Initial Sovereign Grimms are no challenge to me.
Most I could kill in a single attack. There might be some who would need more than one attack and a rare minority.
That will last me a minute or more.
It begins to get harvested in my core while things are sorted out. It had quite a lot of things. Seeing them, a smile couldn’t help but appear on my face.
An hour passed, and I have come across two Grimms; one I had killed after some struggle and another from which I hid. It was beyond me and fighting it would have been akin to suicide.
Hun!
I heaved a sigh and got out of the hiding spot, seeing the monster leaving my range, and got out.
When I sensed something.
‘It seemed like I am not the only one who was hiding.’ I thought and took out a blue crystal. It will be risky, but I don’t know what else to do about it.
Thankfully, Nero had accented to it and changed his position.
I took a deep breath and activated the formation on the crystal. Immediately, it flew up from my hand and moved toward the native, taking a circumventive route to be careful.
Two minutes and a half later; the pigeon beastman had sensed the crystal coming toward it and looked at it nervously.ραпdαs `nᴏνɐ| сom
A couple of seconds later, it fell in front of it. He looked at it cautiously and investigated it with his energy, before taking it in his hand. The moment he did, the formation activated, and a memory played.
It is memories of Nero when he saw two natives getting killed and thrown into the formation.
Nero and I are not powerful, to do anything against the Sovereign, but we could spread it to as many as people we could.
Eventually, they will tell someone who is powerful enough to deal with these things. There are Earth Sovereigns entered with us and these people from the organization might know how to contact them.
A couple of seconds later, he came himself and there was a clear shock in his eyes as he looked at the crystal.
He seemed scared, but quickly recovered and spread his soul sense to look for me. It had even touched me, but he didn’t sense me. It is very hard to do it when I stand still in one place.
He left after a few minutes of fruitless searching. By that time, I have also crossed a lot of distance.
Hun!
I stopped suddenly as I sensed the Grimm. It is powerful that killing it would be challenging. I looked at it for a couple of seconds before shaking my head and walking away.
If it had the bloodline, I would have gone for it, but it didn’t and I don’t want to take the risks.
The cities, despite being of low resource density, have more people and fighting comes with its risks. If Nero had been here, I would have taken the risks or wouldn’t have needed to, since he finished them off.
It is how other adventurers are cautious and think before fighting.
Compared to them, I am reckless with the number of battles I had fought. I could afford to do it because of the partners I have at Nero and Ashlyn, but since both of them are unavailable, I have to be cautious.
It wasn’t long before I was so close to death. If possible, I don’t want to take excessive risks when there is no major benefit like the bloodline.
Another two hours passed, and I have killed the three Grimms. Sent crystal to two natives and avoided many of the dangers against whom I would have fought. If Nero had been with me.
Hun!
A few senses something strange, and I pushed my soul sense toward it and a few seconds later, a smile appeared on my face.
“Finally!” I thought and cautiously went toward it and soon, I was a few meters away from the stealth field where Grimm and the native are fighting.

I only glanced at the bloodied native before turning to the huge Grimm. It is a Lionman of the tribe I had not seen in my world. It has white fur and sharp purple nails.
A powerful bloodline energy is revolving around it as fights the stone skin man, whose skin had been cracked and blood is dripping through it.
He is losing, against the Lionman, who attacking him relentlessly, while all he could do is defend. Even there, he is getting injured.
I have found the Grimm with the bloodline, but I didn’t step in the fight immediately. I watched it; I want to see how natives fight, especially the one from the organization.
I have been doing that since I had come to this ruin, and the result had been mixed.
Some of them are good, but some are bad. This one seemed to be average. I will have to keep watching for a few more minutes, to be sure.
Though, I don’t think. It will last for that long.
