Chapter 2675: Grand Lord Faxre

IN A VERY SECRET PLACE

"Today is the joyous day for us, as we have gained a Grand Lord," said the old Werewolf with a big smile on its face. "Come, Grand Lord Faxre, and take your rightful place in a coven," said the old Werewolf.

A moment later, a Lizardman with blue scales walked into the conference, bearing the powerful lacerating aura of ice that was faintly leaking out of its body. It is clear that it had yet to fully gain control over its colossal strength.

"Thank you, my lords," said the Lizardman and bowed to the old Werewolf before taking a seat at the table.

The gesture surprised quite a lot of people, especially the bow so deep.

The power and influence of the old Werewolf are growing rapidly, and that unwillingly made many pledge allegiance to it. If it had been just its power, they would not have bowed, even come together to oust it and even kill it, like they have done before when the leader of the coven becomes too authoritative.

This time the things are not simple; the golden fire werewolf tribe will rise and rule above them all; it is inevitable, just like the defeat of humans. The result wouldn't change, even if the old Werewolf died or humans spawned another Hawthorn and Roosevelt.

It had been carved into the stone the moment they found that.

Thump Thump Thump

"Faxre is just the beginning; soon, we will have more Grand Lords. So, many that even if humans brought back Hawthorn and Roosevelt, they would still be crushed under might," said the old Werewolf, and no one held any doubt about its words as they all thumped the table in affirmation.

This is inevitable; nothing and no one could change it, not even they.

….

"Begin!"

I said, and twenty-eight formations lit up as the mass breakthroughs of the Grandmasters began.

It had been three months since we launched that big attack on the Grimms and two months since I had returned from the psychedelic ruin, and since then, I have constantly been working. The work is so much that I barely get a chance to do anything else.

Three months ago, we used quite many Masters for the breakthrough, that in the tenth month I was only able to seventeen reached the Grandmaster class, the number was little better in the past month with the twenty-one Grandmaster.

Now, in this twelfth month, I will get a satisfactory number if all twenty-eight of them leveled up to Grandmaster class.

The goal is to make twenty-five Grandmasters at the least each month and reach fifty, which is extremly hard, near impossible, but I want to achieve and the only way we would be able to survive this war considering the impossible number of Grandmasters the Grimms are pouring in the war.

We are barely managing it on edge.

The breakthrough began, and I could already hear exciting discussions around as they watched and observed the breakthrough; many had deep lodging in their eyes as they looked at the breakthroughs.

Those who have got the access to come to this room wouldn't have to worry about becoming the Grandmasters, and I gave them a special focus, as their current level is not enough. I will need all the core staff at the Grandmaster class.

Only then will they be capable of helping me with the High Grandmaster; thankfully, some of them have advanced to Grandmaster, it had relieved some pressure on me and others.

"No, matter how many times I see it, I couldn't help but feel excited," said Lady May beside me. Lord Hunt is occupied with a mission, so some of his responsibilities include being representative of the council in the project.

"Yes, it is exciting," I replied as a meta-physical projection of twenty-eight tyrants floated around me.

I have seen more than two hundred Grandmasters breaking through, but even now, each breakthrough provides me the data, especially when there is someone like parth, who had already started the process of creating the core.

I wish I could have more people like him, but creating a core is not easy; less than five in a hundred Grandmasters could create it.

Though I am trying it all to increase the chances, the creation of core is dependent upon their own efforts. Especially the Inheritance core requires a deep comprehension of their Inheritance, which most people do not have even after hundreds of years with their Inheritance.

Soon, those with Inheritance begin to call the energies, and within just a few minutes, the halls got jam-packed with the worldly energy that spherical formation would absorb and send them inside bodies in the most optimum ways.

"How was your last mission, lady May?" I asked. She had just returned from an important mission two days ago; it was in ruin, like most missions nowadays.

"It was dangerous; these unexplored ruins are filled with danger. Though, I have acquired a small fortune and even managed to heavily injure two Grimms," she replied before turning to me, "Though, nothing compared to you, Lord Zaar, very few are able to compete against your kill rate," she said, giving me a clear look of envy.

It is very hard to kill the powerhouses, even if they do not have powerful offensive methods, they also have very good running methods, that even powerhouses like Lady May sometimes find hard to stop the retreating enemy.

"You know, at wisdom tower, they are trying to replicate your strings?" she asked, "I know about it; Lord Mathais has come to me for notes," I replied.

"So, did you give him?" she asked, "Some," I replied, to which a clear surprise couldn't but on my face. Powerhouses are very guarded about their moves, especially for moves like strings, which are so powerful that there are very few days one could survive them.

If it had been any other organization than the wisdom tower, I wouldn't have done that, but it is the wisdom tower, and the old Mathias had helped me when I really needed the help.

"Let's hope they succeed," said Lady May with a smile, but a smile did not reach her eyes.

While they may be united, there is intense competition between the supremes, and the wisdom tower has an edge in replicating my moves considering their core Inheritance which lets them create their own moves.

Lady May did not say anything about that matter any further and focused ahead, talking in between with most; mostly, the talk always remained in the realm of the project.

Time passed, and the first person successfully broke through the Grandmaster class, and that was just the beginning. A few minutes later, another made a breakthrough, and a few seconds after that, another; in just ten minutes, more than eleven people had made a breakthrough, and the breakthroughs continued.

By the time two hours passed, nearly all the host of Inheritance had made a breakthrough, except for the parth, who is in the process of forming a core.

I did not see any problem in him that could need my help, and the breakthrough of the Bloodline hosts is also going smooth.

If everything went well, I wouldn't have to lift a hand in this mass breakthrough.
