Hours passed in the core as the auctions continued. Now and then, I would open my eyes and be bid for the thing I liked.
To be honest, I am finding quite interesting things.
I am not buying them as the trinkets. I have money, but have no interest in spending them on useless things; everything I am bidding had some use to me.
Or might be useful in the future.
“Whew, all the things were sold. I have seen such enthusiasm very few times in my career,” said the auctioneer.
“We will take ten minutes of break and begin with the auction of the top thousand items,” she said, and the stage went dark, and she disappeared.
Not everyone could participate in the coming stage of action. You need to show it. You have the resources to do it. It is the same for the top hundred.
I have been exempted from both and only needed to show money for the top ten.
Soon, ten minutes passed, and the stage lit up, and the auctioneer appeared, wearing a different gown jeweler than before.
“Welcome back, you all,” she said, and a large cart came in and she removed the clothes covering it.
Revealing a shining bone piece.
“This is a bone piece that had been found in ural marsh; it had been there for more than a thousand years before it was unearthed.” She and information related to it projected in front of me.
I read the detailed information, before turning to her.
“The bone is great artifical resource; energies of ural marsh had made it extremely strong and tensile. It is strong enough it counts be broken by anyone below the Mid-Sovereign,”
“Its price starts from hundred and twenty-five thousand reven crystals and bids will be increased by a thousand,” she informed.
It is a good artificer material, but I have no interest in it. I have many such things in my storage.
I watched people bet, till one got it for one hundred and fifty-two thousand, before closing my eyes.
Time passed and every few minutes, I would open my eyes to bid for things. More than half of the things I bid, I got, while for others, people outbid me.
I am not going to pay more for things. Who’s a substitute I could find in the market.
Though the fair rate couldn’t be applied to all things. If the thing is rare enough and I need it, I am willing to pay many times over for it.
“Nine hundred and seventy-four thousand one, nine hundred and seventy-four thousand two, nine hundred and seventy-four thousand three, sold!” said the auctioneer as a tiny floating drop of brown liquid got sold.
“Now, only a hundred things have remained, and we are going to change our bidding currency to obal crystals,”
I opened my eyes as she said. The real actions start now. There are a few things I want in the top hundred and two, I am willing to pay a high price.
The cart appeared on stage, and she removed the cloth, revealing the lantern, which she took in her hand.
“This is a kasyrun lantern. Its light could let you see in the places where our ocular and soul senses might not work,” she informs and a bluish green stone appeared in front of her.
“This hadanl stone, you all know what it does,” she said and placed her hand on it and activated it.
Immediately, the smoky energy came out of it and within a few seconds, covered the whole stage densely.
Soul senses moved toward it and ocular abilities activated, but bluish green smoke seemed to act like a sponge, sucking everything, not letting anything in.
I kept my soul sense at the edge and watched.
For a couple of seconds, nothing happened, before a light appeared in the smoke and she walked out of it, with the lantern lit up.
“The lantern had been certified by the marlin city and its bidding will start from ten thousand Obal crystals and increase the bid by the hundred,” she said.
Immediately, the bids started, and they begin to increase rapidly.
I am not surprised to see the frenzied bidding. This is an important artifact.
Nearly every dangerous region and ruin has places that make soul sense and other sense obsolete. In places like that, such artifacts become lifesaving.
I have such artifacts in my storages, but I would barely use them. Seeing my soul sense could breach through most fogs.
If it didn’t, I could always add a little rule bending power and it will do the magic.
The bidding lasted for more than a minute before it was sold at thirty-three thousand and two hundred obal crystal.
A few seconds later another appeared and removed the cloth on it and immediately, my lit up, seeing what it is.
It is leaves; there are three green leaves. They looked like normal green leaves, but if one looks carefully, they will see the whole leaves are made of tiny crystalline granules.
It is the leaves of a Meryn maple tree and it looked so similar to normal maple trees and didn’t emit any energy; that many earth Sovereigns got fooled by it.
It was not on the list, or I would have added in the things that I absolutely want.
It didn’t matter; I was going to get it.
“These are meryn maples leaves. A powerful healing resource. The bidding starts from the fifteen thousand obal crystals,” she said.
“Sixteen thousand,” said one immediately. “Seventeen thousand,” “Eighteen thousand,”
Within seconds, the bids reached twenty thousand, before slowing down and started to rise by hundreds instead of thousand.
“Twenty-one thousand and five hundred,” said Big Another.
It is time, I thought.
“Twenty-five thousand,” I said and immediately, there was a silence.
It is a good healing medicine, but only when it is processed. Still, it didn’t worth twenty-five thousand obal crystals. Twenty-thousand is more than enough for it.
To others, it might not be worth it, but to me, it is, when I used it, other healing resources.

That alchemical medicine will be extremely powerful and help me in dire times.
“Twenty-five thousand one, twenty-five thousand two, twenty-five thousand three, sold!” said the actioner, selling me the leaves of meryn maple.
A smile appeared on my face.
The action is turning out much better than I had thought. I hope many of the things they hadn’t revealed turned out to be like this.
I have money, and I will buy them all. It didn’t matter how much they cost; I will be able to afford it in the action.
I have looked through all the things they have sold in the past auction and have enough money to buy, even the most expensive thing. So, the cost wouldn’t be a problem.
If I end up spending too much and felt a threat, I will escape from the ship.
In these two weeks, I had been able to find a way to breach the energy layer covering the ship, without alerting anyone.
I hope it won’t come to that.
