“I have already read the information you have provided and have a basic idea about the place,” she said and looked at me. “Though I would have very much liked it if you could let me make a breakthrough into the High-Grandmaster, it will make things a lot easier and safer,”

Like Elina, she is too a Grandmaster and could level up to the High-Grandmaster any time; the only reason they did not is because of me.

I have asked them not to level up.

“You both have top-level bloodlines, and there is still a lot more power you could harness from your core before you need to make a breakthrough into the next level,” I said. “Still, considering the danger you two are going to step in, I won’t stop you if both of you were to level up; I don’t think you guys will face any problem with that,”

The place we are all going to is extremly dangerous, so dangerous that even those who have the power of the Grand Lord couldn’t guarantee their safety; strength is important to survive that place, but knowledge and guile, would be equally important.

“It is fine; we have already waited for more than a year; what are the few more months,” said the professor as she waved her hand.

It is true that they have been stuck in Grandmaster class for more than a year, but their strength has not been struck; they are improving. Though not as fast as they liked to be, they are, and it will going be going to benefit them immensely when they level up.

They already had enough strength to go against the powerful High-Grandmaster, and I want them to be powerful enough to go against the limited High-Grandmaster and beat them before making a decision to level up.

We talked for more than a hour about our preparations when Elina stood up, “Mom, aunty, I will be going; I have some personal business to attend to,” she said and walked toward the teleportation formation.

“Say hi to your boyfriend from me, Elli,” shouted the professor from behind, which made Elina stop and glare at her aunt for a second before she stepped into the formation and disappeared.

“So, who is her boyfriend Micheal?” asked the professor the moment Elina disappeared. “It is not my secret to tell, professor,” I replied and got a glare from her before she got up.

“I had enough of you; I will go and meet some of my friends whom I might not be able to see after today,” she said and, a few seconds later, disappeared while Marina and I looked at each other.

“I thought she would never leave,” I said and brought marina to my lap before kissing her gently; today will be the last time I will have these wonderful lips of hers; I don’t know when I will return. So, I want to imprint the memory of her part of her in my mind.

We made love for two hours, and during these two hours, nobody disturbed us; the whole house had been silent other than the sound of our moans.

Buzz!

“Be safe,” said Mariana as she wrapped her arms around my neck and gave me a long kiss. “I will,” I said as the kiss ended and stepped into the formation, seeing her one last time before disappearing.

When I went back home, my sister had already returned from school, and I played with her; she already knew I will leaving, I had told her yesterday, so there was much less sadness yesterday, but still she stayed with me till evening, not daring to stay away even for a minute.

“Goodbye, rose,” I said, “Goodbye, brother,” she said, barely able to stop the tears welling up in her eyes. “I will return before you even know it,” I said and kissed her little cheeks before hugging my father.

“Don’t worry about mom; she will return soon,” I said to him before stepping into the formation, and a second later, I disappeared.

I appeared in the big hall, which was filled with people of Grandmasters and High-Grandmaster levels; most of them had already appeared, and to my surprise, I found out I knew nearly all of them; there were a few people I didn’t know, even among those who are wearing the cloaks and masks.

I have helped more than 80% of people here, and they have my seed inside them, which easily tells me their identity, even when they are wearing masks.

I looked at the huge crowd of Grandmasters and High-Grandmaster; in over tens of thousand years of history of the Pyramid, there have been only one time powerhouses of such level gathered in such numbers at one place.

There are more than three hundred Grandmasters and High-Grandmasters standing here, that even with their auras contained, they have charged the air so much that some Masters will feel suffocated; it is one of the reasons why they have not been allowed here.

I did not see the ones I had been waiting for, so I went to the friend I saw, but on the way, people came talking to me, so I had to make small talk before I finally reached my friend more than ten minutes later.

“Rhea, it has been a while,” I said as I appeared beside her; it had been more than half a year since I had seen her, but in half a year, her strength had quite changed. She is still a Grandmaster, but not many High-Grandmaster could challenge her.

“I have been on an important mission,” she replied as she turned to two people from Silverstone academy, who are about our age but are Grandmaster class powerhouses with a battle power to fight against the high Grandmasters.

“Grandmaster Zaar,” they greeted politely before I could turn to greet them. “Grandmaster Gadgil, Grandmaster Pax,” I greeted, and soon we began talking; the subjects we were talking about were light, nothing serious, especially not about the place where we would be going.

Minutes passed, and people kept coming till finally, I saw the person appear for whom I have been waiting.

“I had just turned toward us when she appeared beside me with the speed that surprised some of the quasi-grandmasters.

“Nice haircut,” I said, looking at the shoulder-length bob, “You are not looking that bad yourself with the new jacket,” she said and took me for a hug.

“It had been more than three years,” I said as I broke the hug, “Yes, quite different from the time when we used to see each other at the school, nearly everybody,” she said; she was Ellen, one of my oldest friends, whom I am seeing in a very long time.

She has changed a lot since I have seen her; she has become taller and her physique more toned that it feels like she could crush the mountain in a single punch, and that is likely the case from the threat I am feeling from her, even most quasi-grand lords didn’t give me an as intense feeling of threat as she is giving me.

She is not hiding her aura; the aura of Grandmaster is visible around her, but only an idiot would believe that is her true power.
