Chapter 2604: New Enemy

In A Very Secret Place

“Seven human teams have attacked the fort in the past two minutes, and there is news of breaching in three ruins and one realm,” said the Crockman and brought the live visual and data of the seven battles that are fought on their forts.

“Humans have brought out more numbers than we had imagined,” said the old snake with a small smile on his face. “Yes, the seven teams alone have brought one hundred thirty-eight Grandmasters and nineteen High-Grandmasters, including the seven council members leading them,” Crockman informed.

“If I am right, then the humans are attacking with one hundred and fifty to two hundred Grandmasters, and there are twenty to thirty High-Grandmasters leaders; it is quite an impressive force they have attacked us with,” said the old snake with a smile.

It did not seem worried; instead, it looked happy; like humans had done the thing it had very much hoped they would do.

“There are many new Grandmasters, but more than half of them are from their forces; it is clear for this attack, they have pulled a large number of Grandmasters out from the frontlines,” said the Foxwomen, and her voice turned giddy.

If Micheal had been here, he would have laughed too; the Grimms do not see the complete pictures; while they have accurately guessed the numbers, they have been quite wrong in guessing the faces, and that was the intention in which the attack is planned.

Aside from the leaders and a few top-level Grandmasters, 90% of Grandmasters who went to attack ruin and realm were from a project.

“Now that the humans have left their front spars, it would be idiotic if we did not take a chance at them,” said the Crockman with a laugh, and the smile on the old werewolves face has become bigger.

“Order our armies to attack in full power; today will be the day we will make the most advanced, and if luck would have it, we will reach to steps of the Pyramid,” old Werewolf said finally, and its order was immediately executed, gates after gates of Grimm fortresses opened, and they charged toward the human forts.

Hun!

All of them were watching the battles when suddenly a shocking change occurred in the Radian Snow Fortress. The two High-Grandmasters that were fighting the Micheal Zaar disappeared.

This great reversal shocked them because nearly all of them thought these two would be able to kill Micheal Zaar, seeing the way they were fighting.

They had made the preparations for Zaar, from the formations to special ocular artifacts, not to mention the research they had done on it, which told them it needs at least two minutes to wrap its strings around the enemies and make them disappear, but here it had done it in one minute and seven seconds.

“I want his head; Crae and Jhru, if both of you have to take action personally to make that happen, do it, but I want its head, before this battle is over,” said the old Werewolf. It is angry, so angry that its projection begins to flicker away.

“It shall happen, my lord; Micheal Zaar will not live to see tomorrow; not only it but others would not live past their attack, especially their leader,” said the Crockman as it saw the leader of humans stopping his proudest descendent.

The human had far underestimated his descendent; the moment it showed its real power; she and the rest of the humans would die.

The twins had been too much. If my clone hadn’t been handling the strings, I don’t know whether it is them or me who would be dead right now.

Their teamwork and skills were completely different levels, and I could feel scared but also jealous of such skills. If I had got such skills, I would be able to use my strength much more efficiently and fight against the stronger enemies without feeling the strength.

My clone proved to be more efficient with strings than me. If I had been in its place controlling the strings, it would have taken me longer to bind those two bastards, and by that time, I might not have been alive. Though, in such a case, I would have employed a different strategy to defend and bind.

It had been a few seconds since I had killed them, and I could feel the eyes of every Grimm Grandmaster and High Grandmasters on me. They are looking at me like they want to kill me and do it, given half a chance; I am quite lucky that for this mission, the Grand Commander had brought a very capable people.

From Lady Redhorn, Lord Muske, and Lord Sol, all of them extremly capable of fighting, one of the best we have, and the enemies they are fighting wanted to come at me, but they are stopping them.

It is not like they are more powerful than the enemies they are fighting; no, they are not, the Grimms have been extremly prepared, but these people have the skills to contain the enemies. With their presence, I shouldn’t be expecting any threat from the enemies they are fighting.

That does not mean their wont to be any threat; I am sure the Grimms wouldn’t let me remain free. They will send someone and someone very powerful.

I just hope that a new enemy will come after I finish absorbing the bloodline of two Grimms; as then, not only I will be powerful, but my clone will also be free. Currently, it is busy handling the spatial cage containing the two Grimms.

It would have been fine if I had taken only one inside my core, but I had taken two, and it had made the condition extremly tricky, and now my clone had to personally control the cage, so chaos would occur inside my core.

A few seconds passed, and I did not move from my spot, though the Grimms fighting near had moved away. After, what I had done to the two, no one wanted to be too close to me. They are aware that even if they are stronger than me, once my strings bound them, they will disappear, never to appear back in the world.

While we have no advantages in the High-Grandmaster battle other than the battle of Grand Commander, where she is dominating the three enemies, and if she continues to fight, then it won’t be too long before those black glass staff swords of her take the first life.

It is Grandmasters I am a little worried about; there are a couple of fights where they are at a disadvantage.

Those who are at the most disadvantage are the ones fighting against the three Grimm Monsters; they are having a really hard time.

Seeing that, I couldn’t help but sigh; the number of Grimms was greater than we had estimated, but we had to fight, and I hoped they would continue fighting. I could see there were a couple of humans who were already dominating their enemies.

If they finished their enemies early, they would be able to reinforce their colleagues quickly.

Hun!

I had been looking at Grandmasters when suddenly, I whipped my neck toward the fort, where the new Grimm had appeared.
