Chapter 1233: The Truth About the Little Boy
Little Xie almost tripped over upon hearing An Lin’s words.
She was almost tempted to just leave the little boy to go beat up An Lin.
The little boy crashed into the sword intent formation and bounced back.
He immediately flew toward Little Xie angrily. His hands became dark blue, and his attacks were imbued with terrifying power.
Little Xie’s expression did not change in the slightest. She twisted to the side and evaded the little boy’s attacks through an extremely efficient and refine movement technique. At the same time, her little hands shot forth to lock onto the little boy’s wrists, upon which she unleashed a vicious kick with her little foot upon the little boy’s stomach!
Boom!
The terrifying collision sent shockwaves sweeping through the air for over a kilometer.
The little boy’s eyes bulged from the heavy blow to the stomach, and he threw up a mouthful of blue blood as he crashed into the temple, where he left a massive crater.
“Is that all you’ve got? If it is, then I don’t really even want to take you anymore.” Little Xie looked down upon the little boy from above. Even though her features were quite childish and soft, the aura of an irreproachable queen erupted from her body.
A ferocious expression appeared on the little boy’s face as the flesh and skin fell off his hands, revealing the eerie white bone underneath.
Sun Yuluo almost threw up from horror upon seeing this.
The little boy roared as he pounced toward Little Xie. His bony hands were sharp to the extreme as he slashed them toward Little Xie, slicing the space apart in their wake!
Little Xie harrumphed lightly and raised her soft, fair hands to take on the little boy’s bony hands.
“She wants to try and use her body to take that attack?!” Sun Yuluo’s eyes widened with astonishment.
An Lin pursed his lips. “Is there something wrong with that? Don’t forget that Little Xie is a pinnacle-level immortal tool.”
Sure enough, the sharp, bony hands clashed with the soft, fair hands, upon which the sound of metal clashing against metal erupted! Sparks flew everywhere, and the little boy’s sharp, bony hands were cracked during the collision!
Little Xie turned around and aimed another vicious kick at the little boy.
Boom!
An earth-shattering boom erupted, and the little boy was kicked onto the sword intent formation, upon which he threw up another mouthful of blue blood.
Before he had a chance to catch his breath, Little Xie flashed toward him again before mercilessly slapping an almighty palm onto his horrified face, bashing him into the ground again.
Boom!
The ground tremored violently again.
The little boy lay on the ground, and before he had even gotten up, Little Xie hurtled toward him again before raining lethal punches down onto him like a torrential downpour…
Boom boom boom…
An Lin, Da Bai, and Sun Yuluo stared blankly at the scenes unfolding before their eyes.
The arrogant little boy was getting the living daylights bashed out of him by Little Xie!
“Didn’t Little Xie say she wanted to take him? Why does it look like she wants to kill him instead?” An Lin stared at Little Xie with shock on his face.
“S… so brutal! How could such an adorable little girl be so violent?” Sun Yuluo had been completely astonished by Little Xie’s display of savagery.
It looked like Little Xie had gone easy on him.
At the very least, this little boy was suffering a far worse fate than he did.
Zhao Siming and the other five disciples finally arrived, and they too were given a fright by what they were seeing.
“An Lin’s sword spirit is absolutely terrifying!”
“Making a mental note to myself never to piss her off.”
“You really can’t judge a book by its cover…”
At this moment, the little boy had already been completely disfigured by Little Xie’s fists, and even his body was gradually becoming insubstantial.
“Spare me… Please spare me… I was wrong to attack you, I’ll never do it again…” the little boy begged for forgiveness.
“That’s enough, Little Xie. If you keep going, this ghost really is going to die!” An Lin persuaded.
“Ghost?” Little Xie cocked her head to the side. “Who told you he’s a ghost?”
“Huh?” An Lin was a little confused by what Little Xie was saying.
At this moment, Little Xie launched another merciless punch down onto the little boy’s face!
Bam!
An explosion ensued.
The little boy had been detonated!
Everyone looked on with dumbstruck expressions, thinking that the little boy had been bashed to death, only to find that a dark blue longsword had appeared before Little Xie.
A terrifying sword intent erupted relentlessly from the sword.
This was a frosty sword intent that seemed to be able to freeze space itself.
Everyone’s eyes widened as they came to a sudden realization.
Why was Little Xie interested in this little boy? Why was Little Xie able to detect him? He was no ghost… This was just a little boy that liked to pose as a ghost…
This was actually a sword spirit!
“It’s the Blue Dream Ancient Sword that nurtured a spirit and escaped from our sect!” Zhao Siming yelled.
“No wonder this little boy can run so fast, it’s the ancient sword that fled out sect! Only an ancient sword with exceptional escape abilities can make it out of our Heavenly Sword Sect!” Xue Shan felt like she had been enlightened.
All of the Heavenly Sword Sect disciples’ eyes lit up upon seeing this.
However, Little Xie suddenly grabbed the ancient sword before speaking in a cold voice, “You’re mine.”
“Gasp…”
All of the Heavenly Sword Sect disciples were given a huge fright upon seeing this.
An Lin was also given a huge fright, but he was also frantically praising Little Xie for a job well done!
Little Xie was planning to subdue this sword spirit before adding him to her harem.
Sure enough, Little Xie began to carve out a divine symbol in mid-air. “This is a slave contract. You’re going to be my underling from now on.”
An intrigued expression appeared on An Lin’s face. He didn’t think that sword spirits could establish slave contracts with one another…
“You can’t! That’s an ancient sword that belongs to our Heavenly Sword Sect! You have no right to do this!” Zhao Siming yelled in a panicked voice from outside the sword intent formation.
“This is a sword that belongs to our sect. If you take it, you’ll incur the wrath of our entire sect. Please reconsider, Mr. An Lin,” Xue Shan persuaded.
“Stop that right now! You won’t be able to bear the wrath of our Heavenly Sword Sect!” another disciple yelled.
An Lin instantly burst into laughter upon hearing this.
“Is your Heavenly Sword Sect a scary sect? I kicked Liu Mingxuan out of my Four Nine Immortal Sect already! What are you going to do this time?”
An Lin turned toward the Heavenly Sword Sect disciples outside of the sword intent formation with a smile on his face. “Besides, the Blue Dream Ancient Sword escaped from the Heavenly Sword Sect, so it has already recovered its freedom and is no longer part of your sect’s property. My Little Xie subdued it with her own power, so he should become my Little Xie’s underling.”
“That makes sense. All living beings with sentient will are considered to be independent entities. It’s just like how a beast pet should not be forced to return to a sect once it has escaped… This is a widespread, unspoken rule between all of the sects within the Kingdom of the Nine States.” Sun Yuluo nodded.
Zhao Siming immediately flared up. “Sun Yuluo! Are you a member of the Heavenly Sword Sect or a member of the Four Nine Immortal Sect!?”
Sun Yuluo recoiled from Zhao Siming’s enraged roar.
“Don’t waste your words with them, we just need to do what we have to do. If they want a say in all this, they’ll have to break my sword formation first,” Little Xie spoke with a domineering expression.
Zhao Siming and the others trembled with rage upon hearing this.
Little Xie’s spell formation was extremely powerful, and they really weren’t able to do anything to it…
“No one can steal the property of our Heavenly Sword Sect.”
An ethereal voice suddenly sounded from a distance away.
“This mere sword formation can be broken by my bare hands!”
The voice had only just fallen when a dazzling, golden sword projection descended upon the inky-black sword formation.
A massive hole was torn into the spell formation that Little Xie had painstakingly set up, as if the light of dawn had broken through the darkness!
