Jia Li was still trying to comprehend the situation when she heard the car door close, she hurried to the car and a good on the right side in contemplation.

She didn't know if she should get in the back seat or sit in the front passenger seat with him. Fu Hua honked and she immediately turned to open the door to the front passenger seat without thinking twice.

It would be very wrong for her to sit at the back even though she was scared of Him. He wasn't her chauffeur, so she directly got into the front seat.

Fu Hua drove off when she climbed into the car and closed the door.

"Put on your seatbelt." Fu Hua said without looking her way.

Jia Li quietly put her seatbelt on and tried to remain invisible until her phone rang.

Seeing that she wasn't answering the call, Fu Hua glanced at her as she asked, "You're not going to answer it?."

"I...I will." Jia Li replied as she fumbled for words.

She took out her phone to see it was DanDan on the line. She glanced at Fu Hua, but his gaze was on the road, so she answered the call.

Immediately, she heard the lively voice of DanDan from the other side.

The latter was a little hyperactive today. Fu Hua could very well hear their conversation.

It turned out that DanDan called to wish her the best of luck on her first day at her new college.

"Thank you!" Jia Li responded as she smiled.

"Is your school far from the Fu House? Do you take a cab or a bus to school?." DanDan asked.

Jia Li guessed that Fu Hua heard DanDan's question, and she was in a dilemma and didn't know how to reply to the second question

Could she tell her that Grandfather Fu ordered his Cold-faced grandson to send her to school?

"My school is a little far from the Fu House. DanDan, I will talk to you later, have a great day!." Jia Li said the latter part in an urgent tone and directly ended the call.

She sighed in relief for getting her off her back, and then, she looked up ahead.

Fu Hua turned on the music, and Jia Li felt more relaxed.

When they got close to the College gate, Jia Li asked Fu Hua to stop her there.

"Mr. Fu, I'm fine here." Jia Li said in a rush.

Fu Hua raised his brows at her, but then slowly parked the car as she requested.

"Thank you!." Jia Li said to him in a polite tone, as she removed the seatbelt before taking her backpack with her and leaving the car.

Fu Hua stared at her back for a few seconds before driving off.

Jia Li didn't want to be labeled as someone from a formidable background on her first day at her new college, so she asked Fu Hua to stop the car right outside the gate.

She didn't want any kind of attention at all, and if possible, till she finishes her program here.

Jia Li's first day at her new college was great. Although she was slowly recovering from her grief, she still found all her classes to be interesting.

Because of her nature to be quiet, much attention was not really on her even though she could still feel the eyes of the other students on her.

Of course, they have to glance at her occasionally when they were less busy, after all, she was a new student.

Jia Li found the college to be interesting, and at the same time, she found out there was no time to mess around.

The college aimed to bring out the best in their students, so there were a lot of classes and activities to sharpen one's skills.

Jia Li so much liked her new college that she decided to have a little tour when she got some time out.

She was a new student after all, and it would be good if she knew her environment well enough.

With her phone in hand, she searched for the direction of the art gallery in the college, as she wanted to pay a visit.

On her way there, she bumped into someone. Her gaze was on her phone, and the young lady she bumped into, had her gaze on the heavy textbooks she was carrying, hence, they bumped into each other.

"I'm sorry!." Jia Li and the girl said almost at the same time because they were both in the wrong.

Jia Li squatted and helped her to pick up her books.

"Thank you!." The girl said as she took the book Jia Li passed to her.

"It's nothing!." Jia Li said as she waved her hand before watching the girl leave.

Jia Li looked away and continued on her way to her destination.

With the way the girl was dressed, Jia Li could tell she had a good dress style.

'Could she be in my department?' Jia Li thought, but shook her head and walked ahead.

Some minutes later, Jia Li found the Art Library or more like an Art gallery.

As a student, she swiped her student ID on the machine before walking inside.

She was amazed at the sight. A smile hung at the corner of her lips as she gazed at her surroundings.

Jia Li paused in her steps and shut her eyes, allowing the artistic spirit to flow in her.

She has missed this feeling!

Recovering herself after knowing that other students were around, she started walking towards the beautiful paintings and artistic pictures in front of her.

'Grandfather, thank you for this opportunity, I promise to pay you back!' Jia Li silently promised in her heart.

She was grateful to the old man for the wonderful opportunity and platform he gave to her. She promised to utilize it to her best.

Jia Li spent her entire lunchtime at the library and she was almost late for her next class, but she made it a minute to the time before the professor stepped into the classroom.

After classes, Jia Li didn't know how she would get home until she received the old man's call. She smiled and hung her backpack before leaving the classroom.

"Grandfather!." Jia Li called out in an excited tone.

A big smile formed on Grandfather Fu's face when he heard Jia Li's happy tone.

"Jia Li, you sound happy. Did you enjoy your classes today?." Grandfather Fu asked.

"Yes, grandfather, thank you so much, I love this school." Jia Li expressed her thanks immediately.

"You will have to tell this old man what fun things you encountered today. For now, come to the school gate, I'm waiting for you."

Hearing he came to pick her up, Jia Li quickened her steps.

She didn't know how long he has been waiting for her, and how he knew the right time to come and pick her up, but she still needed to see him to know the answers to those questions.

Jia Li found the familiar black car parked outside the college gate. As she walked closer, the chauffeur stepped out of the car and walked to the other side of the back door, and opened it for her.

Without thinking about her reputation or the attention that she may garner if she is seen stepping into that expensive and bullet-proof car, Jia Li stepped into the car and greeted the old man with a smile.

Grandfather Fu was happy and his heart and mind felt at ease seeing that Jia Li looked a lot better.

The two of them chatted all the way to the house.

Jia Li wasn't talkative, but the old man gets engaged her in a conversation, and because she felt a little better today, she flowed with the conversation.

Jia Li found out the old man knew her schedule, and also came right on time, 5 minutes before the professor left the class.

Jia Li knew the old man went to handle an important work today, because, since morning, he hadn't returned to the house.

Together, they made it home. They both freshened up and went to the dining to eat the lunch that was specially prepared for them.

Jia Li is to her satisfaction, and the Old man smiled from ear to ear.

When Fu Meixu came in and saw this scene, jealousy burned in her heart.

This was her grandfather, but he had a good relationship with an outsider than her.

Although she has never been the old man's favorite, as someone else already had that ranked in his heart. But when the person traveled out to study, she really couldn't take over since she didn't live in the Fu Mansion.

Putting on a genuine smile, she walked towards them.

She didn't dare to fake her smile, because the old man could tell one's intention by merely glancing at the person.

Knowing that smiling at Jia Li will make the old man discover her jealousy, she changed her tactics and decided to give him a fawning smile and called out to him...
