"Congratulations Jia Li on your graduation!" Li Huan said as he handed a fancy bag over to her.

"Thank you, brother Huan." Jia Li said as she accepted the gift from him.

Mrs. Li noticed that things were awkward between her son and Jia Li and tried to make things lively.

"Jia Li, you made us proud and your parents would be proud they had a daughter like you." Mrs. Li said to her.

"Thank you, Auntie!" Jia Li said in appreciation.

Being reminded of her late parents was still an emotional struggle to Jia Li. She still felt sad every time she remembered that her parents were no longer with her but she was still happy that she was not alone. She had people like Grandfather Fu and Fu Hua supporting her.

"Jia Li, I heard from my son that you are married and you are pregnant? How is the Fu family treating you?" Mrs. Li asked.

Jia Li glanced at Li Huan who looked away from her. She was surprised to hear that from his mother. And she glanced at him because she was sure he was the one that told her about it.

Somewhere, Fu Hua was watching them with a mask over half of his face. His gaze was cold as he watched his wife conversing with his childhood crush and his mother.

Fu Hua was still staring at them when his Grandfather came to stand beside him.

"If you continue standing here and watching them, your wife will be snatched away from you. Do you know how hard I worked to get her to marry you when I noticed they already had eyes on her?" Grandfather Fu asked with his gaze on her, as he recounted how he noticed that Li Huan and his mother had ideas about Jia Li.

Fu Hua looked away from Jia Li and glanced at the old man that was standing beside him. He does not doubt that his old man would be able to recognize him no matter the disguise he used.

"You really worked hard to make her my wife." Fu Hua said to him.

No one knew if he was praising or making fun of his old man.

"Why are you standing here and looking at me? Hurry up, go and claim your wife." Grandfather Fu said to him before walking away with his entourage.

Butler Lu bowed to him before leaving as well. He was surprised he came for his wife's graduation ceremony and the old man didn't look surprised to see him.

Without wasting time, Fu Hua listened to his grandfather's advice and walked towards Jia Li.

Mrs. Li was still speaking with Jia Li when she noticed Fu Hua's figure approaching them, so she looked over with Li Huan.

Jia Li saw they were distracted and followed their gaze and turned around only to see Fu Hua approaching. A smile bloomed on her face as she stood there and waited for him to arrive.

If there was another reason that made Jia Li happy, then it was Fu Hua's presence in her graduation ceremony.

In the morning, she was sad because she thought he wouldn't come for it. Fu Hua knew the reason she was sad but he pretended not to know as he sent her away.

He wanted to surprise her by coming without notice and his plans worked perfectly without obstruction.

When Fu Hua got to her side, he hugged her shoulder and said to her, "Congratulations!"

"Thank you!" Jia Li replied with a full smile.

Their interactions were enough to tell Li Huan and his mother that Fu Hua was her husband.

Li Huan and his mother were surprised that they had such a good relationship with each other but still, Mrs. Li was unhappy.

Fu Hua moved his gaze to Li Huan and his mother before asking Jia Li to introduce them. Jia Li was surprised by his request but still went ahead to introduce them.

"This is my senior from high school, Brother Li Huan and this is his mother, Mrs. Li. Brother Huan, Auntie, this is my husband."

Although Jia Li did not call his name, Fu Hua was already very much satisfied with the way she introduced him as her husband. He was the only one satisfied, as Li Huan and his mother felt sour in their heart.

Mrs. Li felt that the Fu family did not deserve Jia Li after she saw her potential daughter-in-law receive awards. She felt she was a hidden wife with a hidden talent in fashion and designing.

Mrs. Li thought that way after she heard from her son that he didn't know who Jia Li's husband was from the profile of the Fu family on the internet since their marriage to her was hidden.

Seeing Jia Li's husband standing before her, Mrs. Li knew she was wrong about what she thought of him. Clearly, he was physically alright and nothing seems to be wrong with him.

Seeing the interaction between them, she didn't think they were pretending to be close because Jia Li's facial expression did not lie.

Mrs. Li was dissatisfied that the man Jia Li got married to was so much times better than her son. She glanced at Fu Hua thoroughly but she didn't find any flaw.

This was a disheartening situation for her.

As for Li Huan, he felt bad when he saw how close Jia Li was to Fu Hua. He kept saying that he could have been the one by her side instead of Fu Hua but he was a step too late.

When he saw Fu Hua, he felt Fu Hua was familiar but the mask covering half of his face didn't let him take a proper look. He could only see his eyes, which had a cold gaze directed towards him.

Li Huan was I curious in knowing which grandson he was, so he could tell who he was since he still didn't know what Jia Li's husband looked like.

Li Huan and his mother couldn't continue chatting with Jia Li since Fu Hua was there, so they left after saying a few words to Jia Li.

When they left, Jia Li turned to take a proper look at Fu Hua before saying with a smile, "I had no idea you would be coming for my graduation."
