One of the male reporters smiled and said, "Don't be angry, we still came to tell you about this without tipping anyone off, or publishing it elsewhere."
Zimo rolled his eyes at them and said, "My boss wants to see you, come with me quickly."
"Right now?" The female reporter asked in shock. She and her colleagues were aware that the next day was the death anniversary of Jia Li's parents, and the entire Fu family had traveled for it. But after Fu Hua found out about this matter, he wanted to see them already?
This showed how important this was to him.
Without delay, a helicopter came to take them to the arranged destination.
When Fu Hua returned to the dining room, the others had already begun to eat and chat amicably. He didn't want to ruin anyone's appetite with the news he just heard, so he sat back at his seat and picked up his cutlery to eat.
Glancing at her husband who had just returned from answering a phone call, Jia Li noticed his mood was different, although he managed to keep it under wraps and nobody noticed apart from her.
He was sitting right next to her, and she was his wife, so even if others do not notice the slight change in his mood, she would.
"Is everything okay?" Jia Li leaned in to ask in a soft tone, and with a concerned gaze.
She thought there may be a problem at work as she caught a glimpse of his caller ID when his phone rang some minutes ago.
Fu Hua glanced at her and managed a smile. "Mmmm... eat." He said in a low tone.
Jia Li knew that everything was not okay. This was the dining table where both families were currently having dinner, so she couldn't confront him openly.
She meant to ask him about it when they were alone, and that would be after now.
Jia Li did not say any more. She used her chopsticks to pick a few aide dishes and put them on his plate as a way of comforting him.
Fu Hua gave her a warm smile, at her gesture.
Jasmine who has been eating all by herself and saw when her mother had put some food on her father's plate, asked for her own share.
"Mummy put for me!" The cute little girl said as she shifted her bowl close to her mother, so she could easily put some food for her.
Jia Li smiled and did as she requested. Fu Hua also stretched his hand to put some food in the bowl of his demanding little daughter.
Jasmine smiled brightly and pulled her bowl back to her side, as the adults smiled at her.
After dinner, Fu Hua waited till everyone had finished taking their tea, before talking about the details of his conversation with Zimo.
"While we were eating, I got a call from my personal assistant who told me about three reporters or Journalists that came to meet him. They had an interview of Jia Li's Aunt recorded, and if the video gets out, it would be unimaginable."
"My Aunt had an interview with a group of reporters? What did she say to them?" Jia Li asked in shock as she could already imagine in her head, how her Aunt will be saying all sorts of things to ruin her image.
As much as Jia Li was shocked, the Fu and the Huang family members were shocked as well. My Keer accepted an interview from the reporters? That woman can not be up to any good.
"How did that woman manage to get in contact with the reporters? I'm sure she doesn't have the resources to contact them." The first daughter of the Huang family asked.
"You have never mentioned to the public that you have an Aunt, so how did the reporters find her?" Fu Hee asked Jia Li with a big frown.
With all their questions going about, Fu Hua managed to find the chance to give them the exact details Zimo had given to him, which ended up angering the entire family.
Fu Hua went on to reveal how the reporters had changed their mind about publishing the interview with Mu Keer at the last minute.
They didn't do that because they were righteous, but because they wanted something in exchange to help them avoid the disaster that would have stressed them to ward off.
This still did not manage to ease the two families' worries, as they wanted to set their eyes on the three reporters and question them. They also wanted to watch the video of the interview, and also, asked Fu Hua to bring the reporters to them immediately.
"The means of transportation is not a problem. I want to see who dares to tarnish my family's image." Old Mr. Huang said in a heavy tone.
Jia Li was more worried than the others, not because she was guilty of anything, but because she was unfamiliar with this kind of situation.
Her Aunty accepted an interview to paint heritage black, how troublesome was that... She wouldn't be the same again if she had succeeded. And now just like everyone else, she also wanted to watch the clip to know what she had said to them.
As this concerned her, everyone comforted her, as they knew she would be more worried than them. Fu Hua hugged her and told her not to worry as the situation was under his control.
Everyone waited for the reporters to be brought to them, so they could have a little peace since Fu Hua informed them about the matter.
In less than 30 minutes, Zimo arrived with the three reporters, who were on tenterhooks. They were afraid now that they were on the Fu family grounds.
They hadn't informed any of their family members about their movement before Zimo took them away, so they were scared they would be killed and nobody would know their whereabouts.
Being in a room and surrounded by the Fu family and the Huang family was a tough job. Being the center of attention to these big shots was not an easy task.. If not for their years of experience, they won't only be sweating in a cool environment, but they would also pee on their bodies.
