Grandfather Fu and Old Mr. Huang concluded that the DNA test will only be done if Jia Li wants, but they all knew that she may never want it done.

Fu Hua did not agree with the fact that this matter should be kept hidden from Jia Li. He knew everyone was avoiding telling her about this because they were scared to hurt her, but he believed that this kind of thing shouldn't be hidden from her.

"Grandfather, it will be better if we tell Jia Li about it. Although she may look like she is not interested in this matter, she is bothered by it. We should tell her in the simplest way possible to avoid her emotions being raged."

"Since Jia Li is your wife, it will be more appropriate for you to talk to her. I would have loved to tell her myself, but this topic doesn't seem appropriate for me to bring it up to her." Grandfather Fu said with a frown.

Jia Li was his favorite, and he would have loved to break this news to her and comfort her, but it didn't look appropriate for him to bring it up to her.

Old Mr. Guang had another idea about telling Jia Li about her birth secret. He simply didn't care about the Guang family and would want to have anything to do with them, hence he didn't want Jia Li to know about it at all.

Her not knowing about this matter to him would strongly cover up the idea the Guang family may have about it.

Fu Hu agreed to break this news himself, and he was actually preparing not to be emotional when breaking the news to her because being emotional will also affect her.

Jia Li had every right to know how she was conceived and under what circumstances it happened. And hiding this kind of important information wouldn't be good. She might hold a grudge against them.

Fu Hua waited till after dinner, and when he was alone with Jia Li in the bedroom before he brought up the matter.

"I want to go to work tomorrow, I'm fine now. Also going back to work soon will help me come up with a better proposal for my collaboration with FJ." Jia Li said as climbed into bed.

Fu Hua didn't say anything about it, because what he was about to tell her, will have a negative impact on her, and she would not have to go to work tomorrow.

"The Huang family met with the Guang family today, concerning your mother and your birth." Fu Hua said with his gaze on her.

Jia Li who was calm and collected while talking about going back to work the next day, suddenly looked gloomy.

She somehow didn't want to hear what he had to say, but another part of her was curious to know the reason her parents would hide such an important matter from her.

'How serious was this matter that it had to be hidden from me?' That was the question Jia Li was thinking about now.

Fu Hua did not wait for her reply before dropping the bombshell in a simple statement.

"Guang Bo of the famous Guang family..."

As he spoke, Jia Li's heartbeat escalated. The only thing she could feel was the tightness in her chest. She could feel her airflow being restricted.

Fu Hua continued after waiting a while for her reaction but there was none. "Your mother was rushed to the hospital by your father to be treated, she also took pills to prevent pregnancy..."

She took pills to prevent pregnancy as a result of rape, but it was obvious that it didn't work because she found out she was pregnant 2 weeks later.

"Are you saying that I am a product or r*pe?" Jia Li asked with rushed breathing as she slowly turned her gaze towards him.

Noticing her rushed breathing, Fu Hua panicked a little and placed a hand on her chest to check how fast she was breathing, but she hit his hand away with all her strength.

That must have hurt a lot, because Fu Hua didn't see that coming, and he retreated his hand as fast as he could and glanced at his already bright red hands.

Jia Li did not even care if she had hurt him, and she couldn't even see how red her red palms were, or feel it hurting because of the strength she used to hit him. Her mind was filled with the thoughts of her being conceived through r*pe.

Although Fu Hua had tried not to be so direct with his explanation, Jia Li interpreted the message and used the word he didn't dare to use on her.

Fu Hua was tongue-tied, and for several seconds, he didn't say anything to her. It was only when she tried to get off the bed because tears were already streaming down her cheeks, did he hold her back say to her...

"No, you are not. I was only trying to explain something to you. Sometimes, the product of something does not always determine the origins, and you are an exception. Don't forget who your father is."

Fu Hua was trying to tell her that although she was conceived in the most unrighteous way, that didn't make her unrighteous either, because the man who she has always seen as her father since she began to understand things was righteous, and therefore, she was righteous.

"Mr. Qin was the man who nurtured you in your mother's womb. When you were born, he raised you, loved you, provided for you, protected you, thought you, gave you everything you wanted and needed, he did his best for you. He played these roles in your life because he was your father. Mr. Qin is your father, and he would always be."

Fu Hua's words made Jia Li break down in tears completely. Her sobs graduated to burst of tears. She cried as she covered her mouth with her palms.

Fu Hua was only trying to make her change the perception she had about her conception, without knowing it would be so heart-warming to her.

A sigh of relief escaped from his lips as he brought her to her chest and held her in his arms and comforted her.
