The reporters were disgusted to sit on the dirty mat, but since they were filming and this was an interview, they had no choice, otherwise, they would have preferred to stand.

"You asked about my niece, you didn't get anything wrong. She has been of no help to me and her cousins. She is ungrateful, I mean, how can she treat her father's only family this way? Since she got connected with the Fu family, she deserted us." Mu Keer said.

The female reporter exchanged glances with her colleagues before asking again, "Can you please talk more on this matter? You have to make your words clear, and also prove that you are not accusing your news of anything."

Mu Keer knew that her words will be proven once the interview is released for everyone to see, so she agreed to say everything she had in mind.

"I am not afraid of anything! Since Jia Li got connected with the Fu family, she abandoned me and my children. It's not wrong for her who is connected to that kind of family to help her poor aunt and cousins. On her own, she didn't help us, but when I asked for help, what did I receive? Insults! She insulted me and refused to help me. She was so heartless to me, and even to her cousins. We could barely eat once a day, while she is in the city, living large.

She refused to give me money, very well then, but when I sought for accommodation in my brother's place, she locked up that place and the Fu family placed the security over there so I can't get close to the house. It's not like she is living there. Since my brother and his wife were buried, Jia Li has not stepped foot in that place, and you can ask their neighbors who would confirm what I'm saying. How can she be so wicked and mean to display this kind of action towards her own family?

Now, I'm thinking the reason the Fu family supports her is that she must have said something bad against me."

"Have you met any of the Fu family members before, and where did you meet them?" The female reporter asked.

Mu Keer sighed and feigned a sorrowful look. "It was a few days to my brother's funeral when I came to visit. I saw the old man of the Fu family and one of his grandsons there, who my niece is currently married to. They were polite to me, and that was the very last they acted that way to me. But before I was allowed to come and pay a condolence visit to Jia Li, I was not allowed entrance for two consecutive times."

"You were not allowed to enter your brother's house when you came for a condolence visit? And why did you think you were not allowed entrance?" The female reporter asked with a surprised gaze

"Yes." Mu Keer confirmed. "And if the Fu family would be truthful, they can easily prove me right. I was not allowed entrance for a reason I have no idea of. But I think Jia Li didn't want me to know she was connected to the Fu family, so she rejected my visit twice before I was finally let in on the third visit."

The reporter was calm for a few moments before asking, "Why don't you think it's because of the high profile of the Fu family, and your niece was scared of disturbing their peace instead?"

The reporter thought that Mu Keer must have been mistaken, and tried to make her see the situation in a different light.

Mu Keer refused to back down and insisted on her speculation. "No, that's not the case. There was nothing to be ashamed about me then, and it's not wrong to introduce me to them, as her only family at that time."

The reporter didn't argue with her as it was not her job, so she moved on to the next question, "Was Miss Jia Li always like this to you before she got to know the Fu family?"

"She was not this way and has never acted that way towards me before she met the Fu family. I think she just further revealed her true colors because of the connection she had." Mu Keer replied.

She would say anything just to make Jia Li look bad.

"From what you have said so far, we can deduce that your niece was familiar with the Fu family before her parents died, when did she get connected to the Fu family?" The reporter asked.

This was an important question she wanted to know about.

"I have no idea how and when that happened, but I learned from her neighbors that she had traveled to the city and stayed over for a few days, but before then, the old man of the Fu family, had been seen coming out from my brother's house. I'm sure she must have done her best to get on their good side, if not, how could she have lived with them for so long after her parents died, and even managed to get married into their family?" Mu Keer said with jealousy.

"It looks like something dark is happening behind like another picture is being painted in public. Can you tell us your thoughts on how your niece is being viewed by a lot of people?" The reporter asked.

Mu Keer was blank because of the question as she didn't understand.

"I don't know what people say about her. The last time I saw her on news was at her graduation. I don't have a Tv or a good phone, and I also don't read the papers." Mu Keer replied.

The reporter had no choice but to tell her how Jia Li was viewed in the outside world. Visible anger could be seen on Mu Keer's face as she immediately interrupted her...

"Lies! Can't they see how well she is treating her father's only sister and her cousins? Can't they see how selfish and wicked she is?! In fact, I didn't want to say this, but now, I'm going to say it. Jia Li is a greedy bastard and she is not even my brother's child!"

"What?!!!"
