Chapter 382: How to become a Hero

While Sasuke read the three scrolls, Yuna tossed him with an intensity that might actually set them ablaze; Yuna leaned back and patiently waited for him to finish reading.

The three scrolls contained information about Sasuke’s three targets, their involvement in the massacre, their current whereabouts, and their capabilities.

Naturally, Danzo was already dead, while the other two were currently imprisoned due to Yuna digging up all kinds of dirt about them after Danzo’s death.

Truth be told, a mission as large as the killing of a whole clan is not something that could be done without the Hokage approval, but Yuna decided to keep Hiruzen’s name out of this for now. He was the most avid reader of her books, after all.

And even if Sasuke somehow managed to create an independent thought for once and figured out that Hiruzen was very likely involved as well, Yuna still was confident to dissuade him otherwise.

While Yuna was thinking about the current situation, Sasuke finished reading Danzo’s scroll, resulting in a frown appearing on his face.

“Yeah, sorry about that, but Danzo had to go, Sasuke. He tried to do the same shit he did with the Uchiha clan to my Uzumaki clan, so I had no other choice but to kill him, slaughter his self-made organization, frame him as a traitor, and make sure that everyone who tried to help him was imprisoned for life.”

Sasuke opened his mouth, kept it open for a few seconds, and then quickly closed it again. Now, he at least understood why Yuna didn’t mind him seeking revenge.

Someone tried to move against her people, with the end result that everything the schemer created in his life was either crushed or pushed into the dirt. Sasuke just wanted to kill his targets, but Yuna apparently wasn’t satisfied with that. If she decided to take revenge on someone, she would crush their very existence instead of just killing them.

Sasuke shuddered in fear when he thought back to how he considered using a hostage against Yuna after being defeated by Yuna twice. Luckily he quickly discarded that idea, thinking it was beneath him to use such a method. Anyway, he would rather not find out whatever Yuna would do to him if he tried that and his attempt failed.

Moments later, Sasuke started reading the next scroll. Although he was slightly unhappy that one of his targets was already dead, considering how he died and what happened afterward, he still was somewhat satisfied.

Sasuke continued reading and finished the second and the third scroll, causing him to sigh in relief. At least, there were two targets left. He had no idea what he would have done if there were no targets left to direct his anger at.

Well, Yuna was still left, but he would rather not think about that for now.

‘I see, both of them are in Konoha’s prison. Not an easy target, but it’s manageable. With Susanoo, I should be able to get in there, kill them and then run away before anyone dangerous appears. I would rather not fight a whole village by myself.’

Yuna could more or less read Sasuke’s thoughts and couldn’t help but roll her eyes at him.

“Please don’t tell me you plan to bulldoze your way into Konoha’s prison and kill those two.”

Sasuke’s facial expression became awkward as he looked away from Yuna, Hinata, and Anko, causing the trio’s face to be deadpan.

“*Sigh* Aren’t you a shinobi? You should work on getting rid of that one-track mind of yours.”

Sasuke was somewhat unhappy with Yuna’s criticism, so he crossed his arms in front of his chest while giving her an annoyed look.

“What else am I supposed to?”

“*Sigh* Fine, I will explain it to you.”

Somehow, this turned into her babysitting Sasuke while patiently walking him through every little step of the solution. When Yuna gave Itachi her guarantee that Sasuke won’t become Konoha’s enemy, she never expected the whole matter to be this troublesome. After all, even if they were prisoners, barging straight into Konoha’s prison and killing people would definitely make Sasuke a genuinely wanted criminal, unlike his current self, which was kind of wanted by Konoha, but not as a criminal.

“Sasuke, tell me what crimes you have currently committed for Konoha to see you as a traitor.”

Although Sasuke was confused by Yuna’s sudden unexpected question, he nonetheless answered her.

“I have left the village without permission.”

“Correct. So, what exemplary deeds did you do for Konoha since you left?”

Sasuke grew even more confused by Yuna’s next question as question marks appeared above his head.

“Err, none?”

“Wrong, you defeated and killed two of Konoha’s S-Rank missing-nin: Orochimaru and Itachi. If you were to come back to Konoha right now, you would be welcomed with opened arms.”

“I don’t care ab…”

“Yeah, yeah, yeah, you don’t care about being acknowledged as a hero or whatever. That much is obvious. But, would you rather live the rest of your life being hunted down by Konoha or as someone who could walk in public without dozens of people chasing you down every single hour of your life?”

A somber facial expression appeared on Sasuke’s face as he realized what Yuna was talking about. Obviously, he wouldn’t care about becoming the enemy of the world for the sake of his revenge, but if there was an option to prevent it, he would choose it if it didn’t hinder his revenge.

“What do you suggest I do?”

Surprisingly, Sasuke asked Yuna a proper question instead of ordering her to reveal what she had in mind, showcasing that breaking someone’s mind was the best way to make someone behave to Yuna again.

“Hehe, usually I’m not a fan of delivering a step-by-step explanation, but fine. First, break into Konoha’s prison without being noticed. You have the Mangekyou Sharingan; if you can’t even do that much, please kill yourself right now.”

After contemplating for a short moment, Sasuke nodded his head in agreement. For some reason, his thoughts immediately went to storming the prison in full force instead of using stealth, which would be significantly easier.

“Second, find those two and free them while convincing them that you want their help in getting revenge against me. Do not let them know that you are aware of their involvement in the Uchiha massacre and tell them some nonsense about wanting to use their old peoples’ wisdom to get your revenge against me or some shit like that. As soon as you start praising those two senile fools, they will happily cooperate with you, thinking how awesome they are for tricking the “last Uchiha” into helping them.”

For some reason, Sasuke got goosebumps when he heard Yuna’s words. Somehow, he got the impression that a devil was currently whispering into his ears.

“Third, lead them out of Konoha, kill them, and then put Akatsuki robes on them; don’t worry, I have a few spare ones. I love organizations that wear uniform clothing. So easy to frame~”

By now, Sasuke’s whole body was trembling in fear as he realized that simply killing those two elders was very far from what Yuna planned for them.

“Fourth, Akatsuki will attack Konoha sooner or later to get their hands on the Kyuubi. As soon as they attack, sweep in and help during combat, spouting some patriotic nonsense about the will of fire or whatever, and present the corpse of the two elders after the fight is over, claiming that they joined Akatsuki and helped Akatsuki infiltrate Konoha.”

By now, Sasuke was pretty sure that he was somehow trapped in some kind of genjutsu, as he could see two large horns protruding out of Yuna’s head, but no matter what he did, he couldn’t get out of it.

“Although I think it is rather obvious, don’t claim that part in private. The more people see the two elders dressed in Akatsuki robes, the better. Finally, return to Konoha as one of its heroes. A hero who left the village due to personal circumstances but returned to defend it at a moment of crisis. Any questions, Sasuke?”

Sasuke had a lot of questions. For example, he would like to know why Yuna could use ice despite her rather infernal lineage but decided that he would rather not ask any question to the demon in front of him and only obediently shook his head.

“Hahaha, very good, off you go. Don’t forget to rub what you are about to do into the faces of those two before killing them. You might as well try to make them die of anger while you are at it. Trust me on this one; making someone die of anger is significantly more enjoyable than just killing them.”

As soon as Sasuke heard Yuna’s words that clearly dismissed him, he stood up and fled… *cough* walked out of the room with slow and measured steps.

“Damn, somehow, that turned me on.”

Yuna glanced at Anko after she said those words and noticed that she was fidgeting around while there was a light blush on Hinata’s face, causing Yuna to nod in acknowledgment.

“You are welcome.”

And then, the trio vanished from where they previously sat due to Yuna teleporting them away..
