Chapter 226: The Wargod Looks Like He’s Going to Beat Someone Up

When Si Mobai saw that he suddenly had countless love rivals popping up from nowhere, his handsome face immediately darkened. He stared coldly at those men with his knife-like eyes. How dare they try to compete for Lan’er!

The server saw that the crowd was getting out of hand and was about to fight. He also saw that his master was ready to kill them with just one look, so he quickly came out and said, “Our owner has been in love with the Feng Clan Head for a long time. If you want to compete for her, you’ve got to win us first.”

The muscular man beat his strong fists on his chest. “You have to defeat me first, then our owner. Only then can you pursue her.”

His Highness was ruthless, but Her Highness was even more heartless. They had to help His Highness out!

All the guests were speechless.

This muscular man was at the Spiritual Grandmaster level. Even if they managed to defeat him by ganging up on him, surely the owner, a man who’d hired a Spiritual Grandmaster as a bouncer, would be impossible to beat.

But when they thought about how Feng Tianlan was now of a high standing, no longer useless and with a powerful alchemist backing her, nobody wanted to miss this chance to marry someone as reliable as her. With her as a partner, they would be able to climb to great heights.

While they also couldn’t afford to offend the people of the Spiritual Foods Restaurant, they also felt that they would lose their pride if they didn’t fight back after being threatened like this.

Feng Tianlan smiled politely. “Thank you, everyone, for your kindness, but I am not interested in that part of my life at the moment.”

She didn’t sound condescending or gloat about how everyone was fighting over her. This way of rejecting them didn’t make anybody feel bad. Everyone was filled with praise for her, especially when comparing her to Tu Xiupei. Feng Tianlan’s image was improving tremendously among the guests.

These guests came from all over the continent, and so, when they went home, they would spread the word about how Feng Tianlan had turned her life around from being a good-for-nothing to become famous and instantly admired.

“Lan’er…” Si Rong became very anxious when he saw Feng Tianlan walk out the door and quickly caught up with her. But when he felt that cold stare from Si Mobai, he swallowed his words again.

Feng Tianlan looked at Si Mobai. “Have a pleasant day, Wargod.”

Si Mobai wanted to say that he was in a horrible mood and was going to beat someone up!

Feng Tianlan got into the carriage, and Si Rong ran past Si Mobai to stand in front of it. “Lan’er!”

Feng Tianlan lifted the curtain and said to Si Rong, “Come up here. I have something to tell you.”

Si Rong was thrilled to hear this, but he felt as if an icy knife were right behind him, slashing him all over and making him shudder in fear. He didn’t dare to turn to look, and quickly clambered into the carriage.

“Lan’er, I really like you. I was wrong in the past, and I will change. If you’re still angry, you can hit me. As for Yu—I mean, Tu Xiuyu—you can torture her any way you want, or torture her twice as much as she tortured you. So long as you’re not angry anymore…”

Feng Tianlan looked calmly at the anxiously blabbering Si Rong and waited until he stopped. “Done talking?”

“No.” Si Rong shrank back. Her gaze covered his skin with goosebumps, and he felt like a clown.

“Continue, then,” Feng Tianlan said very calmly. She was so calm, and her voice didn’t contain any emotion.

“I thought that you had something to tell me?” Si Rong looked at Feng Tianlan. She wasn’t angry, neither was she exuding a cold or murderous aura. But, somehow, the calm and emotionless look on her face sent chills down his spine.

Even though he was safely within the confines of the carriage, he could also feel icy eyes looking at him from outside, ready to kill him anytime. Even if he had anything else to say, he dared not say anymore.
