Chapter 261: Declaring to Everyone That He Likes Her

Feng Tianlan looked at the footprint below her shoe and replied calmly, “I just need Tu Xiuyu.”

She was going to make other arrangements now. As for Tu Xiupei, she would let this family of four bite each other!

Within the palace’s gleaming golden walls, Si Mobai stood at the top of one of the buildings and looked in the direction of Blue Flame Academy. He held a flask of wine in one hand, quietly drinking mouthful after mouthful. He was obviously upset.

The emperor, Si Ming, saw how Si Mobai was trying to drown his sorrows with wine and quietly stayed by his side without saying much. He knew all about what had happened earlier – Young Master had been rejected by Feng Tianlan, and he was in a foul mood now!

The moment Si Mobai thought about what Feng Tianlan had said, he felt as if his heart had been crushed by a huge rock that weighed a ton. It was so heavy that he couldn’t breathe. Even though he knew that her reaction was not truly as harsh as it had sounded, his heart had still ached terribly when she’d said those words.

Si Mobai drank another mouthful of wine in frustration. He looked at Si Ming like he was about to say something but ended up just knocking back another gulp of wine.

Si Ming tried not to laugh. “Young Master, are you frustrated about how you’re going to win Young Mistress’ heart?”

“She belongs to me!” He didn’t need to win her heart because she only belonged to him!

Si Ming knew Si Mobai’s thoughts and nearly burst out laughing. Since his Young Master wasn’t going to ask him, Si Ming thought he’d better take initiative instead.

“I’ve just heard some news. Something’s happened at the Academy again.” Si Ming recounted the events, even though the terrifying air coming from Si Mobai was suffocating him.

“Exterminate their clans!”

Si Ming didn’t know what to say to this simple, murderous response. So, he suggested, “At a time like this, you should tell everyone that the person you like is Young Mistress.”

Make an explicit declaration, and don’t simply kill everyone!

And what was with that proud expression? Was he proud of his wife’s ruthlessness?!

Was he dumb? He should save his damsel in distress now!

Without thinking, Si Mobai immediately rejected this idea. “My identity is very special, and if they find out that Lan’er is my weakness, she will be in great danger.”

Their enemies were an unknown danger to him, and he didn’t want to let Lan’er meet with any risk.

“I apologize for my negligence.” Si Ming hung his head. Young Master’s identity was very special, and he had only managed to stay in the Guiyuan Continent in disguise as his son. But, as time passed, his enemies had managed to find their way to Guiyuan Continent.

If they knew about Young Mistress, then the situation would become very dangerous. Unfortunately, for safety’s sake, they had cut off all connections with the Xuantian Continent. If they hadn’t done so, they wouldn’t be in such a sticky situation now.

After remaining silent for a while, Si Ming cautiously tried another suggestion, “Why don’t you try talking to her friends first?”

Immediately after he said so, he heard a swoosh, and Si Mobai disappeared right before his eyes. Si Ming was left there annoyed, wondering: Does Young Master care about what I say or not?

The horse-drawn carriage was moving along smoothly when there was a sudden gust of cold wind, and the curtain was lifted. The wide and spacious carriage was suddenly very crowded thanks to the addition of one more passenger.

“War…Wargod!” Luo Yunzhu started stuttering when she saw that it was Si Mobai who had barged in.

Feng Tianlan looked up and was pulled into that cool, minty embrace. Then, he held the back of her head as he moved his handsome face close to hers, and his lips met hers.

Luo Yunzhu and Chuling completely froze over as they watched the two people kissing in front of them. Their mouths were wide open, and their eyes nearly popped out of their sockets like they’d seen a ghost!

What did they just witness?
