Chapter 1102: You Should Just Admit Defeat

Weng Yue looked at her unimpressive Pill Refining Furnace and could not help but laugh out loud. “What kind of Pill Furnace is this? Is it a piece of sundry from the Guiyuan Continent? Perhaps it is considered a treasure back where you come from, but here in the Xuantian Continent, it is too small to even be used as a urinal.”

After all, such a Pill Furnace would never be sold on the Xuantian Continent. People would not care to even take one look at it.

Weng Yue’s last sentence immediately caused the crowd to burst out laughing.

“The Demon Princess Consort really looks down on the Grand Alchemist. How could she bring out such a lousy furnace?”

“I feel that the Grand Alchemist is right. This thing is too small to even be used as a urinal.”

“You people have really gone too far. It is obvious that they are bullying the Demon Princess Consort into this, and now they are even mocking her. Is there any reason or justice left?”

“That’s right, it was Shen Yunya who did all these horrible things and she deserved to die. However, these two shameless ones actually want to seek revenge from the Demon Princess Consort and are now humiliating her like this. This is too much!”

“What’s new? The Shang institute is a twisted place where truth or reason does not matter. We should just sit around to watch the show.”

There was a lot of discussion amongst the crowd. Some of them were simply interested in a good show, some felt sorry for Feng Tianlan, while others just could not be bothered with the reason behind its occurrence. There were different voices everywhere.

“Miss Feng, perhaps I should give you a Mortal Grade Pill Refining Furnace as a gift later as it is better for making pills. As for this thing you have here, you can throw it away. Even saying that this is a Pill Furnace would be an insult to Pill Furnaces.” Weng Yue watched as Feng Tianlan started taking pills out and felt that this was becoming more ridiculous.

Feng Tianlan brought out all the herbs required for refining the Blood Clotting Powder and placed them on the tabletop. She lifted her eyes to glance at Weng Yue before stretching out her hand to release Fire Spiritual Force to begin pill refinement.

When Weng Yue saw that the steps which Feng Tianlan was taking to refine pills were different from his, he immediately laughed mockingly. ” Are you making pills or cooking a stew? If you don’t know how, I can teach you…”

Before he could finish his words, Feng Tianlan’s fire evaporated and medicinal powder flew out from the Pill Furnace.

“…” Weng Yue’s face changed. He sneered coldly as he poured out the resultant Blood Clotting Powder, “I don’t know what this stuff is, perhaps it is just some medicinal residue—”

As his fingers touched the Blood Clotting Powder, Weng Yue’s sentence was cut short. He lifted up his head and glanced at Feng Tianlan with doubt. He proceeded to cut a slit in his palm, then poured the Blood Clotting Powder on it. The bleeding stopped immediately and there were even signs of scabbing.

Looking at the wound which closed and scabbed within three breaths, Weng Yue’s face darkened.

It seemed that she did know how to refine pills after all. Moreover, this Blood Clotting Powder was well made. However, who knew if she had put this in her Pill Furnace beforehand.

Feng Tianlan laughed gently in response to his words. She collected all the Blood Clotting Powder in the ceramic bottle and threw it at those people who felt sorry for her previously. Instantly, there were agitated cries from below, shouting the name of the Demon Princess Consort.

Si Mobai watched as Feng Tianlan slapped her enemy in the face so eloquently. He could not help but curl the corners of his lips upwards, his face filled with pride. That was his Lan’er. Either she kept quiet or she slapped her enemy directly on the face.

Hmm, this side of Lan’er… Even if he was not around, he didn’t have to be afraid that she would get bullied; his Lan’er was not someone who could be easily bullied.
