Chapter 768: Feng Tianlan Gatecrashes Shen Yunya’s Wedding 7

What Xi Lin said made Xi Jin think. His thoughts wavered.

“No, Big Brother Jin, I only like…”

Feng Tianlan sneered as she interrupted Shen Yunya. She then raised her eyebrows slightly, asking, “Like who?”

After Feng Tianlan spoke, Shen Yunya was unable to continue what she was about to say. All she could do was tightly grab onto the corner of Xi Jin’s big, red shirt. Her phoenix coronet was shaky, just like her thoughts, almost falling apart.

When Xi Lin saw Xi Jin hesitating, she seized this opportunity to influence him even further. “Imperial brother, Dai’er’s final wish was for you to marry Shen Yunya because she wanted to see her live a blissful life. Since she is currently in love with a man who can give her happiness, how could you go against the main intention behind Dai’er’s final wish?”

Shen Yunya was anxious. She turned to the empress. However, the two of them didn’t seem to have any intention of saying anything. She then looked at the headmaster of the Shang Institution, who had a critical look. Finally, she realized she could only turn to her parents for help.

She really wanted to get married to Brother Jin. The only thing left for them to do was bow toward each other. She had obviously almost achieved what would bring her happiness. How could she lose all this just because of the dead Shen Qingdai?

Si Mobai stood up straight and stepped in front of Feng Tianlan, protecting her like her guardian. He glanced at those who were ready to take action and said in a cold voice, “If anyone plans to come forward, your whole family will have to report themselves to the Bailan Alliance.”

“Arrogant. Only the mere Bailan Alliance…”

Boom!

Shen Bokang was sent flying by a burst of strong Spiritual Force and landed with a crash on the banquet table before he could even finish what he was trying to say. The dishes on the table were all over him. Yuan Fangfei immediately stepped forward to help him up.

Si Mobai looked at them coldly. The aura of a sovereign descended from heaven filled the air as he spoke in a cold voice. He said, “I have what it takes to be arrogant, while you have no right to call me arrogant!” Puff!

Shen Bokang, who was initially injured, vomited a mouthful of blood after being agitated.

The headmaster of the Shang Institution stood up. His white shirt and grey hair made him look like an immortal. He looked towards Si Mobai. “Demon King, are you looking down upon the Shang Institution?” he asked.

The old lord of Xuantian Alliance stood up as well. “Bailan Alliance might be strong, but not strong enough for total domination. If we team up with Fengyun Alliance, the Bailan Alliance will be nothing on the Xuantian Continent.”

The young lord of Fengyun Alliance remained seated and had no intention of standing up. He then gave Si Mobai a provocative look. “Fengyun Alliance has been the enemy of Bailan Alliance this whole time. I would love to team up with the both of you, given the chance.”

They were now at a four-way standoff. As they were keeping each other in check, they were all afraid and not afraid of each other at the same time. However, Bailan Alliance had been removed and isolated from this standoff.

The other three forces all wanted to exterminate the Bailan Alliance. They were just waiting for one of them to make a move.

Si Mobai looked at the three of them with his peach blossom eyes and smirked. “Since you are so confident, why not give it a try?”

“…” The headmaster of the Shang Institution and the lord of Xuantian Alliance went silent. Even if they didn’t care about themselves, they had to think about the commoners. Besides, Si Mobai was very powerful. If they were to fight, both parties would be greatly injured. It would not be worthwhile if a third party were to take advantage of that situation.

When Si Mobai knew for sure that they were all talk, he sneered. “If things do not go favorably and smoothly for my people today, don’t blame me for going all out.”

These four forces were in complete balance. However, each party has their own anxieties. His biggest worry was Lan’er. He didn’t have the desire to dominate the world as they did. He just wanted Lan’er to be happy. What else mattered to him?
