Chapter 637: Don’t Touch Me, Yun’er Will Be Angry

His alluring red eyes stared at the ceiling for a while without focus. After a long while, he blinked, curled his lips seductively and haughtily. He then called out in a mellow yet passionate voice, “Yun’er”.

He stretched out his hand to stand up slowly, and moved his body. Because he had been lying down for a long time, there was a crackling sound from his bones, which made the scene appear a bit unusual.

The heavy door opened slowly with a creak. The sunlight outside penetrated little by little, and in expanding, shone on him. After a long time without sunlight, he couldn’t help but squint his eyes.

Wearing a rose red palace costume, a woman with a curvy figure slowly approached him under that light. The peony on her wrist was as enchanting as her figure, and the closer she got, the more clearly he could see her alluring countenance.

He opened his lips and slowly called out, “Xue’er.”

Upon hearing his call, Su Xue stopped abruptly, and her soft body immediately stiffened. She slowly raised her head, turned towards the sound, then her pupils suddenly enlarged. It reflected the image of him standing on the coffin, with blood-red eyes and long silvery hair.

“Wang…” As soon as she spoke, she couldn’t help but burst into tears.

She waited for a long time, and finally awaited until the day Wang woke up. He really woke up.

He leaped slightly and landed in front of Su Xue. Upon seeing her cry, he stretched out his hand and wanted to hold her in his arms. But after thinking of something, he withdrew his hand discreetly asking, “Where is Yun’er?”

Had she returned?

She didn’t like him touching other women, so he couldn’t touch her. He couldn’t make her angry, lest she run off in a fury.

Her awakened hand paused, then reached out to wipe the tears off her face. “Xue’er is incompetent, and the queen has not been found yet.”

When Wang woke up, the queen was the first one he asked for. He wasn’t thinking about her. She had guarded him for so many years, so could he at least take a look at her?

“Yun’er hasn’t come back yet?” His voice sounded very disappointed. He clearly felt that Yun’er had come back.

Su Xue lowered her head to hide her disappointment. “The queen has not returned yet, and we received news that she’s on the Guiyuan Continent at the moment…”

Before waiting for Su Xue to finish speaking, he started walking out impatiently. “I’ll pick her up and bring her home.”

It had been so long yet he still hadn’t brought her back. She must be angry, so he must bring her back quickly.

But as soon as he walked a foot’s distance, he felt a prickling sensation all over his body, as if something was pulling him, and he couldn’t help but take two steps back. That suffocating sensation instantly disappeared.

“Wang.” Su Xue realized that something was wrong, and quickly stepped forward to support him.

The softness on his arm surprised him, and he pushed her away quickly. He then scolded her coldly, “Don’t touch me! Yun’er will be angry!”

He couldn’t make Yun’er angry anymore, otherwise she would really abandon him.

After being pushed back, Su Xue staggered two steps back and nearly fell to the ground. Staring at the hand that had been pushed away, she felt such painful heartache that she was unable to breathe. What could make her heart ache more than being pushed away by a man that she had guarded and loved for thousands of years?

Without support, his fragile body caused him to immediately fall to the ground. In a weak voice he asked, “Why hasn’t Yun’er returned yet?”

It had been so long, so Yun’er should be back.

Su Xue concealed the pain in her eyes, and standing behind him she explained, “The queen has been reincarnated. Wang, you’ve slept for a long, long time, and it’s now a thousand years later.”

“It’s been a thousand years? Has it been so long?” He rubbed his temples in confusion. After thinking about what happened before he went to sleep, his memory started to return little by little.
