Chapter 293: Let’s Die Together

Luo Yunzhu looked at Xu Jiayi in disbelief, then looked over at Tu Xiupei, who was frowning. This was the first time she heard all of this. She whispered again, “Then whose daughter is Tu Xiupei?”

She hoped that Tu Xiupei’s biological father wasn’t a man of higher standing. Otherwise, she would be upset. Very, very upset.

“I haven’t found out yet. But he’s the same as Tu Xiang or better in terms of standing and ability.” Feng Tianlan knew exactly what Luo Yunzhu was thinking. Feng Tianlan had also wished that Tu Xiupei’s biological father wouldn’t be a man of high standing, but, unfortunately, that was the reality.

Luo Yunzhu felt like there was a blood clot in her throat that she could neither spit out nor swallow. This information didn’t torture Tu Xiupei, but it was torturing Yunzhu. If Tu Xiupei’s real identity gave her an edge, then it would become even harder to oppose her in the future.

“Tianlan, I feel terrible.” Luo Yunzhu felt like she was going to die because of this new revelation.

Feng Tianlan tried not to laugh as she consoled her, “The more difficult it is to deal with her, the more satisfying it will be to torture her.”

Luo Yunzhu took a deep breath, then sighed out all her worry. “You’re right!” The process was more important!

Si Rong was shocked by this revelation, too. He’d never expected anything like this. Now he understood why her parents always said that Tu Xiupei had the destiny of a phoenix. Her mother was a phoenix. Of course, she was one too.

Tu Xiang and Xu Jiayi were going crazy from everything that Tu Xiuyu had revealed—these were the very things they were trying to hide. The worst part was that their own daughter was making all these revelations. Even if she didn’t have any hard evidence, things weren’t going to end well for them.

Tu Xiang was now regarded as a traitor. Even though he was very skilled, he was now worth less than an ant to his nation. He couldn’t advance his plans here anymore.

Tu Xiang didn’t want to stay here any longer. He immediately thought of taking this chance to escape and leave South Winds Nation quickly. But the moment he turned to go, he met someone unexpected.

“Wargod,” Tu Xiang greeted reluctantly.

Si Mobai made his men move the crowd away from Tu Xiang and surrounded Tu Xiang. “The show is not over yet.”

Tu Xiang stared straight at Si Mobai, terrified by the kingly aura that he exuded. If it were anyone else, he would have been confident of escaping. Once he got out of South Peace City, he had a much better chance of surviving. But he was now face to face with Si Mobai, and he didn’t have any confidence that he could beat him.

Tu Xiang, Xu Jiayi, and Tu Xiupei were all surrounded.

“HAHA!” Tu Xiuyu saw Si Mobai leading his men and turned to laugh at Si Rong. “Big Brother Rong, you’re the dumbest man on earth.”

If Si Rong hadn’t despised Feng Tianlan for being a good-for-nothing and turned his attention to her, would things have ended differently today?

There was no point in thinking about this. She couldn’t turn back time. Still, she started to regret everything. Why had she fallen for him? Why was she so jealous of his engagement to Feng Tianlan? Why did she do all those horrible things?

In the end, the one who was getting the last laugh was Feng Tianlan. Meanwhile, their lives were now in shambles.

Si Rong’s face darkened, and his heart was distraught. He realized that nothing good had happened to him since becoming involved with these three sisters. Now, Tu Xiupei’s identity was a mystery, so he certainly wasn’t marrying her either.

“Big Brother Rong, I hate you.” Tu Xiuyu looked at Si Rong and thought about how he had brought those ugly men to rape her. Her heart completely turned to ashes. She raised her hand and flung the envelope away as she said, “Let’s die together.”

“Tu Xiuyu!” Si Rong’s eyes widened. He jumped to grab the envelope, but Si Mobai’s men were guarding the area so that he couldn’t do anything.

Tu Xiuyu laughed as she watched all the letters fall out of the envelope and flutter to the ground like snow. “I still have some more here. You’ve betrayed your country even though you’re a prince and schemed against the emperor to take control of the throne. Hahaha! All this is enough to send you to death row several times over.”
