Chapter 368: Turning on Her Faster Than the Weather

Feng Tianlan arched her eyebrow a little and seemed slightly interested in Lin Suyin. “I thought that Miss Lin would quietly accept this and leave.”

Lin Suyin seemed to have something else in mind concerning Feng Tianlan, after all!

“Everyone has a temper. I wore your clothes because I felt a little cold when I came in. I happened to see them and put them on. Also, the Wargod is now unconscious, so you don’t have the right to make any decisions on his behalf. If you’re making all the decisions on your own, then we can’t compete fairly.”

“I thought that Miss Lin was very clear about what’s going on.” Feng Tianlan’s gaze landed on the clothes that Lin Suyin was wearing.

Lin Suyin’s face went all red with embarrassment again because of the way Feng Tianlan was looking at her. She clutched one corner of her sleeve. It didn’t seem right to take the clothes off, but it didn’t seem right to leave them on, either. She was in an awkward spot.

“His Highness didn’t acknowledge you, and you didn’t acknowledge His Highness either, so you have no right to make any decisions for him about who should take care of him.” Lin Suyin didn’t sound very confident when she said this, but she didn’t want Feng Tianlan to be the only one taking care of the Wargod.

This was an excellent chance to get close to him, so how could she just let it slip away?

Feng Tianlan frowned, but she moved aside for Lin Suyin. “In that case, Miss Lin can take care of him.”

“Take off Tianlan’s clothes.” Luo Yunzhu glared at Lin Suyin with large eyes. She wanted to see how Lin Suyin could get close to His Highness without Tianlan’s clothes!

Lin Suyin bit her lip. Awkwardly, she removed the clothing and threw it to Luo Yunzhu. She looked up at Feng Tianlan with bloodshot eyes and wanted to say something but ended up swallowing her words. She was afraid that she might agitate Feng Tianlan and make Feng Tianlan accept the Wargod instead.

Lin Suyin had calmed down by this time, and she thought of the mission Master had given her. She clenched her teeth and said, “I was the one in the wrong today, but I have admired the Wargod for a long time now and lost my senses in the moment. It was my fault, but I have no other ill intentions. I hope that Miss Feng does not think otherwise.”

Feng Tianlan only responded with a quiet grunt. Nobody could tell what she was thinking.

Lin Suyin felt anger rise in her heart again, but her master’s orders made her calm back down. She looked at the blade of Spiritual grass and took it from Feng Tianlan even though she felt humiliated. “My body is much better, so it’s a good time to bid Miss Feng farewell. I will take my leave. Also, thanks for the Spiritual Grass.”

Feng Tianlan quietly grunted again, “Have a safe journey, Miss Lin.”

Lin Suyin’s teeth started chattering from her anger at Feng Tianlan’s attitude toward her, but she still managed to control herself and bow her head. She took the Spiritual grass and turned to leave coolly.

As she watched Lin Suyin go, Luo Yunzhu started spinning anxiously around. “Tianlan,” she said. “Are you going to just let her leave like that? She’s even taken the Spiritual Grass! That’s our Spiritual Grass! The one and only blade of Spiritual Grass!

That blade of Spiritual Grass was supposed to ensure their place in Flying Frost Pavilion, and Tianlan had just given it away to Lin Suyin!

That was way too infuriating!

“Here, I’ll give you a piece too.” Feng Tianlan pulled out another blade of Spiritual Grass for Luo Yunzhu. Under Azurite’s care, the Spiritual Grass had sprouted a few more blades, so they no longer needed to worry that they didn’t have enough Spiritual Grass.

“What on earth.” Luo Yunzhu looked at the Spiritual Grass in her hand and was stunned. “The one that Lin Suyin has is a fake?”

“It’s real,” Feng Tianlan chuckled then changed the topic. “Now you seem to be against her. Aren’t you still grateful that she saved your hand?”

“After thinking about it some more, it seems that she’s not so simple. She’s been way too nice to you, and it doesn’t seem genuine. You don’t know each other very well. But, even though she was her team’s leader, she abandoned her people several times just to save you. Also, what we just witnessed with her creeping on Wargod looked like a scene from a play. She must have purposely chosen this time to act in front of you. She wanted to make you misunderstand His Highness so that you’d be disgusted with him. That way, she’ll still have a chance.”
