Chapter 1124: Strange Feng Yunsheng

After listening to the report given by his subordinates, Su Jingfeng learned that Feng Yunsheng had gone to the Bailan Alliance and had spoken to Si Mobai on the street. In addition, there was a rumor in Lin’an City that Sheng’er was the Demon Princess Consort. Immediately, anger and jealousy arose in him. She was his, not Wu Ya’s!

She had betrayed him thousands of years ago and saved Wu Ya. He did not blame her as he was at fault too, but now…

He could not let her get snatched away by Si Mobai again. She was his!

The more he thought about it, the more angry and jealous he became. Su Jingfeng no longer had the patience to sit and wait. He got up and kicked open the bathroom door but what he saw was not a picture of a beauty bathing, but Feng Yunsheng lying motionless on the floor.

All the anger and jealousy, along with his thoughts of being intimate with her, disappeared without a trace.

“Sheng’er.” Su Jingfeng stepped forward and carefully hugged Feng Yunsheng in his arms. As he recalled how, thousands of years ago, she had died in Wu Ya’s arms just like this, he could not help but feel a sense of fear. He gently shook her and spoke in a trembling voice, “Sheng’er, please wake up.”

Nothing was allowed to happen to her—absolutely nothing!

Su Jingfeng’s fearful voice was trembling as if his whole body was surrounded by a tide of terror and he was going to drown in it.

Seeing that she was not awake yet, Su Jingfeng picked her up and left the bathroom. He put her on the big soft bed, assessed her body, and fed her pill medicine. Although, in the end, he found that she was just asleep, he still felt uneasy, so he stood guard by her side.

It was not until evening that Feng Yunsheng woke up slowly. She struggled to lift her heavy eyelids and looked into Su Jingfeng’s ruby-like eyes. Before she could even speak, she was hugged tightly in his arms.

“Sheng’er.” As Su Jingfeng watched her wake up, he felt a sense of relief as if a lost treasure had been recovered and he held her tightly in his arms.

Feng Yunsheng was a little out of breath from the tight hug, and her voice was weak. “Brother Feng, please let go of me. I can’t breathe.”

Hearing this, Feng Jingfeng quickly let go of her. He saw that her complexion was ruddy but her breathing was a little short, so he examined her again. He only felt relieved when he confirmed that she was really alright. “Do you feel any discomfort?”

Feng Yunsheng shook her head gently and looked up at him with a smile. “I am fine. I don’t feel uncomfortable anywhere. Brother Feng, you have been exaggerating, I thought I had some incurable disease.”

“Don’t talk nonsense.” Su Jingfeng’s face sank.

Feng Yunsheng squinted her eyes and smiled innocently at him. “It was just that, after bathing, my blood circulation was not good, so I fainted. Moreover, perhaps I was a little angry because when I looked for Brother-in-law today, he refused to tell me where Elder Sister was and even fought with me.”

As she spoke of this, Feng Yunsheng felt somewhat confused, as if a part of her memory had gone blank.

Feng Yunsheng raised her left hand and looked at her fair and flawless wrist. Did she have another episode of her illness again?

Seeing that her smile had returned to being innocent and sweet without any reluctance or pretentiousness, and had also given her account of what happened in the day, Su Jingfeng comforted himself. Perhaps her false smile was really due to her feeling unwell and being in a bad mood.

Yun’er had originally always had temper tantrums, so he could understand this. He decided to put this incident aside and not think about it anymore. Her health was more important.

“Why are you looking for her? She has never treated you as her younger sister.” Su Jingfeng was very unhappy about this. If it was Feng Tianlan alone, it would not be a problem. But there was Si Mobai beside her and he was Wu Ya’s reincarnation. He was afraid that if Sheng’er met him more often, she would think of Wu Ya. This gave him a sense of crisis.
