Chapter 326: The Vines Only Aim for Tianlan

When they saw that the vines had stopped attacking and were all turning toward Feng Tianlan, someone couldn’t help but shout out, “Have they recognized Feng Tianlan as their master?”

“Whatever the reason, I’m just glad they’ve stopped attacking. I’m not going to be able to hold on much longer.”

“They look like they’re all ganging up on Feng Tianlan, though.”

The moment these words were uttered, all the vines, which had been quiet, suddenly went berserk and started attacking Feng Tianlan. They switched their target from everybody to just Feng Tianlan.

“Tianlan!”

“Miss!”

“Boss!”

“Master!”

The four of them immediately formed a protective circle around Feng Tianlan. Since the vines were now only aiming for her, they had to do a stalwart job of protecting her.

“Move aside,” Feng Tianlan commanded as she looked at the sharp vines coming from all directions. Her eyes became cold as she lightly used her toes to leap onto a treetop. She tried to make the vines switch direction and climb toward her.

When they saw this, everyone froze for a while. Then, one person ran off without saying a word. The rest also started to realize that if they didn’t flee now, then they may never get another chance. They weren’t on the same team as Feng Tianlan, so whether she lived or died had nothing to do with them.

“Sister Lin, hurry up! Let’s go,” someone tugged at Lin Suyin.

Lin Suyin looked at Feng Tianlan, who was surrounded by the vines on all sides. She hesitated, then pushed that person aside. “You go ahead. I’m not going to watch her die like this.”

Her master had said that she should use any means at her disposal to gain Feng Tianlan’s trust. This was the best chance she’d get, and she couldn’t miss this opportunity.

That person didn’t bother trying to dissuade her and ran for the hills. Lin Suyin could be a fool on her own, staying here and waiting to die!

When she saw the vines chasing after Feng Tianlan, Luo Yunzhu hurriedly tried to catch up. She quickly thought of an idea. Without hesitating, she used her Spiritual force to slash her own palm. Blood immediately flowed out.

Since the vines liked blood, she could bleed a little to divert some danger away from Tianlan. Otherwise, at this rate, Tianlan would die.

When Chuling saw what Luo Yunzhu had done, she didn’t hesitate and used her Silver Silk Net to make several cuts on herself. Blood immediately stained her green dress.

Azurite and Zhang Tiancheng did the same. Then, without hesitation, all four of them made their way toward the web.

Lin Suyin smelled nothing else but blood. She saw how all of them had given themselves long cuts. She hesitated for a moment before she clenched her teeth, drew her sword, and cut herself on the arm. Then, she ran to catch up with them.

But the vines didn’t smell any of their blood. They continued chasing after Feng Tianlan. Although, strangely, they didn’t appear to want to injure her. They looked like they merely wanted to capture her.

“Azurite, take them away. I’ll look for you all very soon.” Feng Tianlan’s face grew extremely cold when she saw how Luo Yunzhu and the rest had cut themselves in the hopes of attracting the vines’ attention.

Her icy cold phoenix eyes looked at the vines, which were like a web covering the sky. Feng Tianlan stowed her dagger and used her hands to grab the vines.

In an instant, the vines had wrapped up Feng Tianlan in a kind of cocoon. The creepers almost seemed sentient, and they all coiled into a ball shape before heading off in different directions.

“Tianlan!” Luo Yunzhu looked in all directions but had no idea which way to go. Her eyes had turned red from anxiety. If they went the wrong direction and missed the chance to save Tianlan, she would die.

“Miss!” Chuling immediately burst out crying. She didn’t know in which direction the vines had taken her Miss, either.

“There are four of us, so we’ll take a different direction each.” Zhang Tiancheng was anxious too. As a man, he was calmer than the rest.
