Chapter 251: A Big Gift for You

Feng Tianlan tried not to laugh as she repeated, “It wasn’t me.”

Of course, Luo Yunzhu didn’t believe her and just thought that she was modest. But she didn’t bother continuing on this topic and started talking about other exciting things, chattering non-stop.

“Boss, do you like our gift?” The moment she stepped through the school gates, one of the students immediately came up and hopefully asked Feng Tianlan.

Luo Yunzhu looked around. There were only people – no gift in sight. She rolled her eyes. “What gift? People with empty words aren’t worthy of following our Tianlan.”

“Hasn’t it taken effect yet? You mean Tu Xiang managed to buy something in the end?” The student scratched his head, then turned around to smack another boy. “Can’t you do a better job? You’ve embarrassed me! Go tell those people to make sure that this gets done. Make sure we get those scoundrels chased out of South Peace City.”

“You guys are the ones behind this restrictive order?” Feng Tianlan realized that the ‘big gift’ they were referring to was the order not to sell anything to Tu Xiang.

“That’s right. But it seems like it didn’t happen. Rest assured, I’ll make sure it does!”

Feng Tianlan looked at the young man in front of her. He was wearing the academy’s uniform, but he looked more like a hooligan. She didn’t have any memory of this man.

“Oho, so you did this, huh? I thought that our Tianlan was behind it. You’ve done a great job. They couldn’t even buy leftover vegetables,” said Luo Yunzhu as she sized up this young man.

“I thought that it didn’t happen,” answered the young man weakly.

“It did, but you’ve got to make it last.” Luo Yunzhu finished observing him and gave him a friendly whack on the shoulder. “So, do you want to follow our Tianlan?”

He quickly nodded. “Of course.”

“Alright. I’ll accept you on Tianlan’s behalf. You’re one of us now.”

Feng Tianlan smiled helplessly from the sidelines. Did Luo Yunzhu think they were gangsters now? What sort of language was this?

“Tianlan.” Luo Yunzhu ran over to Feng Tianlan and said, “I tell you, this boy is handy. He’s a rich man’s son, but he’s chummy with the street gangsters. That’s why this one order from him managed to move so many people at once…”

Luo Yunzhu continued to rant about the young man’s good qualities. He nodded whenever she made a positive point, and the people behind him also nodded along.

In short, he was average in skills, but he wasn’t always serious. He was a rich boy who just liked having fun.

“This will be the last time.” Feng Tianlan had a grim expression on her face. Quality and not quantity was what she wanted out of the people around her.

Luo Yunzhu happily agreed and patted the young man’s shoulder. “Aren’t you going to tell her your name?”

“My name is Zhang Tiancheng. I don’t have any talents in particular, but I have a lot of information sources and lots of ideas. As long as you believe in me, I’m sure you’ll discover what I can do.”

Feng Tianlan glanced at all the people behind him, and Zhang Tiancheng immediately understood. He lifted his hand, and everyone moved away. He continued walking behind her.

He wanted to follow her because of what she’d said the day before. She’d said that she’d do anything for the people by her side. Her character and her loyalty were worth following!

Si Mobai arrived at the academy and saw a man following Feng Tianlan. His eyes immediately grew cold. His icy knife-like gaze made its way onto Zhang Tiancheng, ready to slice him to pieces.
